Chapter 536: Golden Partner

Black Garden, Field Spell.

Simply put, in this field, the ATK of all monsters summoned by both sides is halved. And every time someone summons a monster, a "Rose Token" with 800 ATK will be automatically generated on the field of the duelist opposite to this person.

Second effect, destroy all Plant-Type monsters on your field, and revive Plant-Type monsters from the Graveyard with the same total ATK as the destroyed monsters.

Because this card is a deck used by Akiza Izinski, the heroine of the third generation anime 5D's, Fujiki You Xuan originally thought this should be a card of the next generation.

But thinking about it, 5D's is also a future with the same world view as GX. Many past cards are still in use in the future.

And although there is a setting that the story of 5D's takes place decades after the end of GX, Ushio-senpai, a character who runs through the generations of Yu-Gi-Oh!, appeared in 5D's. Ushio-senpai was a disciplinary committee member at the same school as Yugi in the early days of the DM manga, and once beat Jonouchi and extorted Yugi Muto, and later received the dark game punishment of the King of Games.

Seeing this former senior become a security officer in 5D's, specifically responsible for arresting criminals with riding duels.

The time span from Yu-Gi-Oh! DM to GX is ten years. If it has been decades to 5D's, then Ushio-senpai should be an old man with wind and candles, and it is impossible to be active in the plot. If this character is used as an anchor point to infer, it is impossible for too long to pass from the second to the third generation.

Besides that, he actually unexpectedly discovered a few "Ice Barrier" cards.

Ice Barrier was also a popular deck back then. You can guess from the name that it is an all-Water-Attribute deck, and the monster effects are mainly to block the opponent's operations. Among them, Brionac and Trishula, as Synchro trump cards, were famous big figures in the forbidden card list, famous for destroying the opponent's gaming experience.

Of course, there is no Synchro now. And saying it is a "deck" is actually very far-fetched, there are only a few cards, and it is impossible to form combat power at all.

It's just that this reminded Fujiki You Xuan that when the Synchro era comes, Ice Barrier is a deck that is quite suitable for him.

Not only because of the strength, but also because it is annoying...

Fujiki You Xuan's harvest recently has been quite good, and the inventory cards have ushered in a bumper harvest—this is a rare thing for him now. In the past six months of operation, his inventory has been greatly improved, and it is difficult to see any particularly valuable cards even from the channels of the Duel Academy.

And the highlight recently is the Gladiator Beasts harvested from Melo's hands, the world champion with dominant status in the Fusion era environment.

In addition, after defeating the Supreme King, although the Destiny HERO - Plasma full set was absorbed by Judai along with the Supreme King himself, Fujiki You Xuan actually had a lot of gains here. There are quite a few decks seized from the subordinates of the Supreme King's army.

Among them, the most valuable one is this popular deck that also appeared as an important part of the Supreme King's army in the anime.

Dark World.

It can be said that Dark World was also a popular deck with a large number of card player fans back then. The deck is unified as Dark-Attribute Fiend-Type, all of which have the common effect of "being discarded from the hand by the card's effect" to trigger abilities, and can induce even more powerful effects when discarded by the opponent's card's effect.

The strength of Dark World back then was also quite high. It's just that it was still a bit difficult for Fujiki You Xuan to collect.

Because just like the performance in the anime, every monster in Dark World appears separately, scattered in various regions of the dimension ruled by the Supreme King, and in teams of various numbers.

So Fujiki You Xuan actually spent a long time, walking through the major dimensions of the Supreme King in the past few months, collecting them one by one, until he finally cleared the Supreme King City dungeon and finally gathered a deck.

But the advantage is that the Dark World collected in this way almost every card corresponds to a spirit. Although it is not directly lodged in the card, but stays in the respective Dark World, it is indeed a Dark World spirit that has been subdued and harvested by Fujiki You Xuan through dueling. Especially now that their former master, the Supreme King, has collapsed, they are now loyal to their new master.

Well, after all, they lost the card game, so they have to be loyal.

"Thanks for your patronage~"

Fujiki You Xuan is also very generous now. Grandpa Sugoroku Muto accepted the money and handed the boxed cards to Fujiki You Xuan with a smile.

"Young man is very good." Grandpa Sugoroku laughed, "I have also seen your duel before, very promising. If there is a chance later, when Yugi comes back, you can communicate more, my intuition tells me that you will have a lot of common language."

"Thank you, Grandpa."

Fujiki You Xuan put away the box and thanked him.

If there is a chance, he really wants to communicate with Yugi-san. Even if it's not for anything else, he is also a bit curious.

After all, by the time of GX, the original Yugi who was once short and harmless had grown a lot taller, and his body shape was also leaning towards the King of Games back then. At this time, he should have broken through the full level and is a mythical existence in the duel world, but how strong he is is not shown in the anime at all. At the end of GX, Yugi only let Judai travel back ten years ago to duel with his past self. Even in the later theatrical version, the protagonists traveled through time and space back to the past to find Yugi, all of whom were in the DM period. And the adult version of the original Yugi never appeared head-on in any derivative works.

Fujiki You Xuan is also very curious about how strong Yugi is now.

Elsewhere.

In the dark alley, the man ran fast, looking back from time to time, as if afraid of being caught up by something behind him.

But he was too concerned about what was behind him, and obviously paid too little attention to what was in front of him. He didn't pay attention, tripped over something in the alley, and fell heavily, eating mud.

He struggled to get up with his hands and feet, but the last bit of strength in his body seemed to have been squeezed out in the sprint just now.

Every cell seemed to be making a desperate wail, and he couldn't even force himself to stand up again, and could only lean against the wall. His heavy breathing echoed throughout the alley.

And just when the luck of having escaped appeared in his heart.

"Almost, should give up, right?"

The man trembled all over, turned his head in horror. I saw a young man wearing a red hat and a green jacket standing at the alley entrance, looking at him with a sneer.

!. Read

That is the man who has fought against two generations of Duel Kings, Rex Raptor!

The man got up in panic, turned his head and wanted to run. But when he turned around, he saw that someone had already blocked the direction he came from.

"Oh my, you really caused us a lot of trouble, running so fast. Can you be considered the owner of a generation of dark duel club, is it really okay to run away like this?"

The person who appeared there was wearing thick and huge glasses on the bridge of his nose, his face was cold and didn't look like a good person, and he had a cheap smile.

Also a legendary duelist, the partner who used to be inseparable from Rex Raptor, Weevil Underwood!

"My club has been uprooted by you, what else do you want?"

The man roared.

"What do you want? I don't want anything. Just want you to explain, where is 'that'?"

"I don't know, it ran away, it's no longer in our hands."

The man said dejectedly.

"But it should have gone to Domino," the man said. "Now we all know whose territory Domino is. That side has now completely fallen into the hands of the Knights of Hanoi. Ordinary people dare not provoke easily..."

Weevil and Rex Raptor laughed in unison.

"Do we look like ordinary people?"

The man lowered his head and dared not speak.

"Fine, Domino... It's really a place that makes people nostalgic." Rex Raptor said.

"Knights of Hanoi, huh."

Weevil pushed his glasses.

"Just right, I want to see what can't be provoked."
