Chapter 561

Careless.

Manjoume Jun now truly felt the sinister nature of society through the duel, and also realized more deeply the importance of "never use things the opponent gives you in a duel."

Otherwise, suffering a muffled loss is a small matter, but having one's mentality broken by being mocked is a big problem.

Now he had a bit of that feeling. At this moment, the more he looked at this Volcanic Queen, the more he felt it was asking for a beating; looking at it, he always felt like it was mocking him every moment.

"Don't get cocky too early!"

Manjoume scolded angrily.

A mere Continuous Spell wants to seal his attack; what does this guy take him for? A street duelist with a false reputation?

"Quick-Play Spell 'Mystical Space Typhoon', destroy any Spell or Trap Card on the field." Manjoume said sternly, "The one I want to destroy is, of course, your Continuous Spell 'Level Limit - Area B' in the back row!"

The black storm rolled the Spell Card into mid-air, and a lightning bolt descended from the eye of the storm, smashing that Spell Card into pieces.

The powerful restriction was immediately lifted, and the pressure on all monsters on the field vanished in an instant.

"With this, the attack restriction is also lifted." Manjoume said, "The battle position of monsters can also be changed.

Change 'Volcanic Queen' and 'Sky Knight Parshath' from Defense Position to Attack Position!"

【Volcanic Queen, DEF 1200 → ATK 2500】

【Sky Knight Parshath, DEF 1400 → ATK 1900】

"Next, there is also the Equip Spell 'Premature Burial'!" Manjoume reached out for the Spell Card in his hand, "This card can pay 800 Life Points to revive a monster in your Graveyard in Attack Position and equip this card!

The one I want to revive from the Graveyard is, of course, this one..."

【Manjoume Jun, LP 3000 → LP 2200】

The vortex leading to the Underworld opened, and before the monster appeared, dazzling white light had already bloomed from that darkness, as if to illuminate Hell into day. The huge body of the steel angel rose like the sun, its silver-white armor reflecting dazzling light.

Turatin, revive!

【Turatin, ATK 2800】

"If you think you can seal my attack with that one Spell, then that is your miscalculation." Manjoume shouted, "Then I will specifically use the monster you gifted me to give you the final blow!

First is 'Turatin's' direct attack!"

Endless white light gathered again, and the surging power seemed to condense into a sword. It was a holy sword condensed from pure light; the tip of the sword touched the ground lightly, and ripples of waves spread around with this as the center, and wherever it touched, the darkness dissipated rapidly as if scorched by the scorching sun.

With one sword slash, it cut straight across Fujiki You Xuan's empty front field and slashed down at his head.

"This is not good," Eye said sarcastically on the side, "If we are finished off by the monster we gave the opponent, that would be ridiculous."

"That's true."

Fujiki You Xuan remained calm as ever, smiling and snapping his fingers.

"Then activate face-down card, Continuous Trap 'Limit Reverse'.

You can revive a monster with 1000 or less ATK from the Graveyard in Attack Position."

Fujiki You Xuan revealed a card in his hand.

"Special Summon this card from the Graveyard in Attack Position—

—Mad Dog of Darkness!"

The big-headed demon dog exuding an underworld aura appeared from the Graveyard and lay quietly on the ground. Its body shape and image were quite cartoonish, but the patterns engraved on its blood-red body were like skeletons, and its mouth was full of drooling fangs and sharp teeth, and the image was quite thrilling.

【Mad Dog of Darkness, ATK 800】 "Only 800 ATK, in Attack Position." Manjoume sneered, "Isn't that a small fry that doesn't even count as a wall?"

"Doesn't even count as a wall? You're talking about Five-Headed Dragon, right?" Fujiki You Xuan said with a smile.

Manjoume: "?"

He didn't seem to get this meme, but that didn't matter. Fujiki You Xuan then pressed the button in the back row, and another face-down card was flipped over.

"Next, activate another face-down card, Continuous Trap 'Forced Termination'!"

Fujiki You Xuan indicated the back row he activated.

"Forced Termination, can only be activated during the Battle Phase, and can activate its effect by sending a card on your field other than this card to the Graveyard.

You can forcibly end the Battle Phase of this turn!"

Manjoume: "!"

His pupils contracted, and he immediately realized what this meant.

This thing is even more lockdown-oriented than Level Limit or Gravity Bind!

Level Limit - Area B only forces monsters Level 4 or higher to switch to defense, and Gravity Bind can only seal attacks of Level 4 or higher. But monsters with "unaffected by Spell/Trap effects" type resistance can ignore these restrictions, not to mention that finding ways to summon monsters below Level 4 and stacking high ATK, or using low-level monsters with direct attack capabilities, etc., are all solutions.

!. Read

But the above solutions are all inapplicable to this Trap Card.

As long as you send any card on the field to the Graveyard, you can forcibly end the Battle Phase, and it is a Continuous Trap. In other words, as long as Fujiki You Xuan provides it with materials for consumption every turn, he can skip every one of Manjoume's Battle Phases.

Without even a Battle Phase, there is naturally no chance to attack at all. If you don't find a way to deal with this Trap, even if the opponent has the three Egyptian God cards, they can only stare at this Trap.

"I send 'Mad Dog of Darkness' from the field to the Graveyard to activate 'Forced Termination's' effect."

Fujiki You Xuan unhurriedly stuffed the monster card into the duel disk's Graveyard.

"Forcibly end the Battle Phase."

The gloomy Mad Dog of Darkness disintegrated into particles, filling into the Trap like pure energy. Following that, an overbearing energy fluctuation was released from that Trap Card, sweeping across the entire field overbearingly.

The moment the holy sword swung by Turatin touched the fluctuation, it shattered with a bang, as if it had been scattered back into light particles. After the steel angel hit the fluctuation, it could only return in frustration.

Eye started to mock by pulling its eyelids: "Ha, can't hit, just can't hit, are you angry? Loser..."

Manjoume said with a dark face: "Your spirit is very uncultured."

Fujiki You Xuan smiled: "I'll take that as a compliment. Thank you."

Manjoume: "..."

"It's not over yet." Fujiki You Xuan said with a smile, "The monster 'Mad Dog of Darkness' that was just sent to the Graveyard as a cost for 'Forced Termination' also has a monster effect.

When this card is sent from the field to the Graveyard, add one Level 8 Demon-Type monster from your deck to your hand."

Manjoume frowned: "Level 8 Demon-Type?"

During his time as a Card Shop Destroyer, he was good at studying opponents to select suitable decks from the "Anti-Deck" to deal with them, so understanding the opponent was homework he did before every battle.

So according to his understanding, when the King of Games wants to search for a Level 8 Demon-Type, it often means...

"I add 'Lava Golem' from my deck to my hand."

Fujiki You Xuan smiled and showed the monster card he added to his hand.

Manjoume's face turned even darker.

I knew it...
