Chapter 584: Master of the Academy

Jesse Anderson did not appear immediately.

Just as Amon said, this person was like a ghost. There were five people who came to Duel Academy this time, and only this person had not shown himself in front of the others until now.

But if you ask the reason, it's not that this person is very cold or mysterious. It's just simply because Jesse...

Is a road idiot.

Yeah, that's right, he got lost.

Of course, it wasn't a big problem. After the principal smiled awkwardly on the stage for a few seconds, the legendary Jesse Anderson finally appeared outside the door, panting, and came to the podium sweating profusely.

"Oh my, I'm so sorry, I didn't expect the academy headquarters to be so big, I couldn't find where the auditorium was for a moment, ahahaha..."

The principal coughed and didn't mind.

The last one to be introduced was Professor Cobra.

This professor looked fierce and spoke even more severely. He took the microphone and said very straightforwardly: "Today was supposed to be a day to greet everyone and get closer, but even if I say so, everyone's strength won't improve. So it's better to end the boring pleasantries and proceed directly to practical combat. This is my educational policy! So now, let's implement this policy immediately and conduct an exhibition duel for cross-campus exchange!"

As soon as this was said, even the principal and instructors on the stage looked at him in astonishment.

Huh? Is there this segment? Never heard of it?

Deciding so arbitrarily...

"The duelists are decided by me personally."

Although he was a professor from another school, this Cobra spoke so arbitrarily, as if he were the principal.

Cobra narrowed his eyes.

The student he was most concerned about in this school was, of course...

"Jaden Yuki!"

Jaden on the stands pointed at himself blankly: "Ah? Me?"

Professor Cobra didn't answer, then continued to point to Jesse who had just come to the stage.

"Jesse Anderson!"

He had wanted to collect Jaden Yuki's data before but failed. Since he failed, he would use a straightforward way, utilizing his status as an exchange professor to arrange a duel...

He glanced at Principal Sheppard behind him: "No problem, Principal?"

Sheppard frowned, but decided to give face to this friendly school professor: "Well... practical combat is indeed the best way, I have no opinion."

Cobra nodded with satisfaction: "Very good, then it's decided—"

"Wait a moment."

Someone spoke up to interrupt.

Cobra looked at the student seating area and couldn't help but frown when he saw the person standing up.

The students also started to stir.

The Lord of the Yellow Dorm of the Academy!

"Mr. Fujiki You Xuan!" Jesse, who had already met Fujiki You Xuan, waved desperately.

Austin and Jim, who were seeing him for the first time, couldn't help but cast their gazes over.

"That is the living legend of Duel Academy, the Duel King..."

Jim couldn't help but rub his hands: "The thing I most want to do on this trip to headquarters is to duel with the legend once. Don't you think so, Shirley?"

The crocodile named Shirley behind him also shouted excitedly a few times.

"It's Student Fujiki You Xuan, right," Professor Cobra frowned. "Do you have any opinions on my policy?"

He couldn't help but mutter to himself. He had long heard rumors that the principal of this place in name was Sheppard, but in reality, it was this person who had the final say. He thought that no matter what, this person was still a student, and should give the principal face on the surface...

Even the principal nodded, and he still expressed opposition. Could it be that everyone had really defaulted to this student being the master of the academy?

"No, no, no opinion," Fujiki You Xuan smiled. "I just thought, since it's an exhibition duel, it should demonstrate the highest level of confrontation. It should be the strongest teachers demonstrating to all students, which is more valuable than student exchange, isn't it?"

"Oh?" Professor Cobra frowned. "Does Student Fujiki You Xuan mean..."

"I heard before that Professor Cobra is a duelist from the military, bringing rich practical experience to the academy to engage in teaching. Since it's a rare opportunity, why don't you give me some pointers, and let everyone see how a duel representing the highest level is done?"

Professor Cobra's face was a bit gloomy... but he had always had this expression, so it was hard to see any change.

He looked at Sheppard expressionlessly.

"What does Principal Sheppard think?"

"Uh... Student Fujiki You Xuan's words also make sense," Principal Sheppard touched his bald head. "Then how about we do that?"

The two highest-level professors in Duel Academy, Professor Crowler and Professor Bonaparte, also nodded repeatedly.

Professor Crowler: "Student Fujiki You Xuan's words make sense, no-nay."

Professor Bonaparte: "Might as well listen to Student Fujiki You Xuan, de-ah-ru."

These two professors, one has the verbal tic "no-nay" and the other has "de-ah-ru", their speech is characteristic and they are also quite characteristic people, most of the time more like comedians than professors.

Last semester, Professor Crowler was promoted to acting principal, and Professor Bonaparte was promoted to vice-principal, which was Crowler's previous position.

Now the principal is back, so Crowler has returned to the position of vice-principal, but there is already Vice-Principal Bonaparte, so the status is a bit awkward. The two are in direct competition, and the relationship between them has never been very good.

Professor Cobra curled his lips slightly.

What's wrong with the principal and leadership of this broken school? It's really unmasked that they listen to this kid...

This disrupted his plan.

"Well... okay."

Professor Cobra nodded.

"Then it's an exhibition duel. It just so happens that I've heard of Student Fujiki You Xuan before, so it's not bad to try it out on this occasion..."

He paused and said.

"But I'm not prepared for a temporary duel. How about... two days later."

He looked at Principal Sheppard.

"Is there a school-wide banquet on the evening of two days later?"

Sheppard was stunned, nodded and said: "Yes, there is a banquet to welcome new students and welcome colleagues for exchange..."

"Then let's set it at that time."

Professor Cobra nodded and said.

"It just so happens that I also have arrangements for follow-up teaching activities to announce to all students at that time."

Fujiki You Xuan sneered inwardly.

Calling it an arrangement for teaching activities, in fact, it should be holding a school-wide duel competition, in the form of a GX tournament, allowing all students to duel freely in the open map of the academy island, calculating grades and scores.

Saying it's to use practical combat for tempering, but in fact, the professor's real purpose is to absorb the energy generated by students during the competition to provide energy for the resurrection of that Lord. But this process will cause students to collapse, faint, be bedridden, and even have more serious reactions depending on their physical fitness.

"Is that okay, Student Fujiki You Xuan?"

Professor Cobra looked at Fujiki You Xuan.

"Of course."

Fujiki You Xuan smiled, indicating that I'm just a student, what opinion could I have.

"I'll listen to the teacher's arrangements."
