Chapter 611

A super-rare fairy?

As a professional fairy hunter, his professional keen sense of smell immediately made Keith's eyes light up.

Sure enough, the rumors were true!

It was said that the King of Games had fairies like clouds in his hands. Especially since there were rumors that this person was good enough to wear the same pair of pants as President Seto Kaiba, and this person also had an extraordinary relationship with Industrial Illusions.

The fairies taken from the King of Games, even a random one, must be priceless.

Thinking of this, Keith couldn't help but show an expectant and evil smile.

Come on, show your fairy!

Your fairy is very good, but soon it will be mine!

"Activate the effect of Nephthys's Disciple."

Fujiki You Xuan had already begun to continue his operation.

"Disciple's effect, target one 'Nephthys' monster level four or lower in my graveyard." Fujiki You Xuan said, "Destroy one card in my hand, then special summon that targeted monster from the graveyard to the field in defense position!"

Fujiki You Xuan pulled out a card from his hand. The Disciple chanted a spell, and then a ball of fire ignited in Fujiki You Xuan's hand, quickly wrapping the card he was holding and burning it to ashes.

Raising his duel disk, a burst of golden light bloomed in the graveyard. Following that, a rocket shot out from within, the burning arrow landing on the ground and quickly blooming, turning into a huge fireball. Flames bloomed in the rolling fireball, and the flames transformed into a human entity.

"Revive 'Nephthys's Protector' from the graveyard!"

A girl with long silver hair held a great sword like a raging fire. She was also wearing golden armor representing the Nephthys faction, with a bright red cloak behind her, her figure like bathing in flames.

【Nephthys's Protector, DEF 200】

"However, the effect of the monster summoned by Disciple's effect is negated." Fujiki You Xuan said.

Keith looked at the girl who had just appeared for a moment and propped up his chin.

Obviously, this one was not a fairy. That is to say, this was preparatory work for the fairy summoning.

Nephthys deck, could it be!?

Keith's eyes lit up: "Phoenix God!?"

"Hmm?" Fujiki You Xuan was stunned, "What?"

"Nephthys's Phoenix God, is that your rare fairy?"

Keith's eyes showed joy that he couldn't hold back.

Phoenix God was already a rare card, and if it were a fairy, its value would be immeasurable. This could even be said to be the lifelong pursuit of a fairy hunter.

But Fujiki You Xuan laughed out loud.

Keith frowned: "What?"

"No, sorry, but I've disappointed you. The fairy I'm talking about is not Phoenix God."

Fujiki You Xuan smiled.

"I tribute 'Nephthys's Disciple' and 'Nephthys's Protector' for an Advanced Summon!

Planetary series, the mechanical god of destruction—

—The Big Saturn, summon!!!"

Planetary series!

The few words exploded like thunder in the ears of this hunter who pursued fairies.

That legendary super-rare card series based on the nine planets, where every single one in the world was unique!

And at this moment, one of the nine planets, a huge machine covered in white heavy armor, descended with unparalleled momentum, towering like a mountain of steel!

【The Big Saturn, ATK 2800】

Keith's eyes were full of yearning.

It was clearly as if to say, Coach! I want this!

And Fujiki You Xuan was very cooperative, immediately satisfying his wish: "Battle. The Big Saturn, attack 'Resentful Killer Doll'!"

Saturn had just started to build up power, and Keith had already laughed out loud.

"You've fallen for it again, King of Games!"

The Black Scorpion gang, who were watching nervously: "Nani?"

"You think it's safe to attack because you didn't summon Decoy Phantom this time? You underestimate us hunters!"

Keith laughed and waved his hand.

"Activate trap, 'Capture Trap'!

Can be activated when there is a card with a Prey Counter on your field. Negate the attack of one of the opponent's attacking monsters, and then that attacking monster is also captured into my back row, and a Prey Counter is placed on that card!"

The Black Scorpion gang suddenly realized.

"Oh no, the Storm Summoner taken away last turn has a Prey Counter..."

"Not bad! There is a card with a Prey Counter on my field, using Storm Summoner as bait to lure Saturn into the hook!"

Keith laughed loudly.

"Give it to me!"

Thus, Saturn was also captured, its huge body sealed into a giant net and hung in Keith's back row.

"Damn bastard!" Zaloog was furious, "I knew he would steal other people's monsters..."

Keith laughed heartily.

Got it again. And this time, it wasn't just an advanced monster, but a fairy, a heavyweight, one-of-a-kind planetary fairy in the world!

Yes, this was also the characteristic of fairy hunters' cards. The fairies captured by their cards in a duel were not just stereoscopic images being bound, but the fairies would truly be temporarily trapped in the trap.

"Stealing my monster again..."

Fujiki You Xuan sighed as if helpless.

"Fine. In that case, it will be dangerous to be attacked next turn... Then activate magic card 'One Day of Peace', both sides draw one card, and until the end of the next opponent's turn, all damage we take becomes 0."

"Surviving a turn in this way? This doesn't look like something the King of Games would do." Keith snorted triumphantly.

"My turn, draw."

Keith drew a card and snorted again.

"Can't take the opportunity to attack this turn... but it's only for this turn."

He revealed the monster card in his hand again.

"Summon 'Minotaur'!"

【Minotaur, ATK 1700】

Well, it was just a minotaur, wielding a battle axe. Nothing special, but it was a monster that was quite suitable for the image of a hunter who used minotaur fairies as his profession.

"Set one card again, turn ends."

Keith was full of confident smiles.

!. Read

The set card was Capture Trap No. 2. In other words, as long as the opponent attacked again, they would repeat the same mistake, and more monsters would be captured by his side.

Come on, King of Games! Let me see more of your rare and precious fairies!

"My turn, draw..."

Fujiki You Xuan drew a card, but didn't even look at it, as if he didn't care what he drew at all, and looked up directly.

"Some people are already dead, they just don't realize it yet."

Keith was stunned.

"What?"

"Last turn, you seemed impatient to see Phoenix God." Fujiki You Xuan said slowly, slowly raising his duel disk, "Then as you wish."

While speaking, raging flames actually burst out from his duel disk, the fire rising into the sky, gradually condensing to form an entity.

Keith's eyes showed even hungrier light: "Oh oh oh, that is..."

"When I activated Disciple's effect last turn, I destroyed one card in my hand. And that card was this one."

Fujiki You Xuan said lightly.

"Nephthys's Phoenix God, if this card is destroyed by a card effect and sent to the graveyard, special summon this card from the graveyard during the standby phase of your next turn.

Reborn from the ashes in the flames of nirvana, fly again—

—Nephthys's Phoenix God, summon!"

The burning flames turned into spread wings, a high-raised head, a golden shell radiating endless brilliance, shining like the scorching sun.

【Nephthys's Phoenix God, ATK 2400】

"It really is Phoenix God... well, it's a pity it's not a fairy, but it's also a powerful rare monster."

Keith showed a dangerous, ferocious smile.

"Then, after the duel, this card will also belong to me."

"I said, some people are already dead, they just don't realize it yet."

Fujiki You Xuan said lightly.

"When Nephthys's Phoenix God is special summoned to the field by its own effect, all magic and trap cards on both sides of the field are destroyed."

Keith: "!"

Oh no, if the back row is destroyed, his Capture Trap cannot be activated, and he can't capture Phoenix God...

"Tch."

Keith clicked his tongue.

But even so, no matter what, he still had two monsters on the field. His HP was still the original 4000, and even if the back row was cleared, it wouldn't be so easy to be killed in one turn...

"The Storm Summoner and Big Saturn you stole from me are both placed in your Spell/Trap zone at this time, so naturally, they are destroyed together by Phoenix God.

And these two cards have their own effects..."

Fujiki You Xuan paused and explained slowly.

"When Storm Summoner is destroyed by a card effect, the controller of this card takes damage equal to this card's attack value, which is 2300 points."

"Big Saturn's effect, when this card is destroyed by the effect of a card controlled by the opponent and sent to the graveyard, both sides take damage equal to Big Saturn's attack value, which is 2800 points.

Of course, Big Saturn has already been stolen by you, so the 'opponent' for you is me."

Keith: "..."

Things happened too fast and too suddenly, the hunter's brain stalled for a moment and couldn't even turn around.

Fujiki You Xuan paused, gave Keith a gentle smile, and explained more patiently.

"Therefore, if these two cards are destroyed together, according to Big Saturn's effect, I will take 2800 points of damage.

And you, will take the sum of their attacks... which is 5100 points of damage."

Keith opened his mouth, as if something was stuck in his throat, making him unable to speak, only able to stare at his back row, at the two big monsters that seemed to have been captured by him.

Looking at Storm Summoner, then at Big Saturn.

Then his expression twitched.

What the hell...

Spent all this time catching two moles, right?

Phoenix God's flames had already been released, and the vast sea of fire swallowed his entire field. Storm Summoner and Big Saturn instantly exploded like two huge gunpowder barrels being ignited, turning into the most brilliant fireworks in the night sky with two loud bangs.

"Woahhhhhhh—"

【Keith, LP 4000 → LP 0】
