Chapter 653

"Tytannial, Princess of Camellias, attack 'Manju of the Ten Thousand Hands'!"

Facing the strong attack lineup set up in an instant, Eddie's face remained calm.

"Then activate Set card, Trap card 'Dimensional Prison'!"

The pitch-black dimensional rift rotated and opened, like a big mouth wanting to swallow Tytannial.

"When the opponent declares an attack, banish the attacking monster directly from the game!"

The rift struck, and it was about to swallow Tytannial on Fujiki You Xuan's field. Fujiki You Xuan also responded immediately, snapping his fingers.

"Then the effect of Tytannial, Princess of Camellias.

When a Spell, Trap, or monster effect that targets a card on the field is activated, Tribute one Plant-type monster on the field to negate and destroy that activation!"

Eddie's brows furrowed slightly: "A plant with such a powerful ability."

"Said it before, don't underestimate the possibilities of any race easily," Fujiki You Xuan smiled. "I Tribute 'Gigaplant' to negate and destroy the activation of 'Dimensional Prison'!"

Dimensional Prison also targets, and Gigaplant turned into light spots and dissipated. Tytannial's petals filled the pitch-black rift, and the Trap soon shattered and dissipated.

"Battle continues, Tytannial, Princess of Camellias, destroy Manju of the Ten Thousand Hands!"

Manju of the Ten Thousand Hands was pierced through the chest, exploding and shattering with a bang. Eddie raised his arm to block in front of him, the explosion impact making his body sway.

【Eddie, LP 4000 → LP 2600】

"Then Set three cards, turn end."

"My turn, draw."

Eddie's face had no waves.

"Then I activate the Ritual Spell 'Advanced Ritual Art'.

Send Normal monsters from the deck to the Graveyard until they become the same level as the Ritual monster. Perform a Ritual Summon for the Ritual monster in my hand."

He unfolded the deck and drew one of the cards.

"I send the Level 8 'Tri-Horned Dragon' from the deck to the Graveyard as a Ritual Tribute, Ritual Summon!"

The Ritual altar appeared, and green flames were lit. In the flickering flames, a pitch-black blurred shadow appeared, the red cloak appearing even more eye-catching under the green mist.

It was as if the terrifying thing that had been sealed in the stone slab had come to reality, filled with extreme hatred for this world, extreme resentment, turning into substantial darkness and spreading out.

"The demon god who destroys the world, descends here," Eddie said in a low voice. "Dark Ruler Ha Des, summon."

【Dark Ruler Ha Des, ATK 2700】

"Zorc," Fujiki You Xuan muttered. "Is it really that Zorc?"

Yes, it is the great evil god Zorc who was destroyed by the Creator God of Light at the end of DM.

Of course, this Zorc looks much weaker, and a Level 8 Ritual demon doesn't match the style of the great evil god. But this Ritual monster is not an ordinary demon with a name that collided with the boss, but its original user is also the human form of the great evil god Zorc, which is Bakura's dark personality.

The prototype of this card is the evil camp boss operated by Dark Bakura in the tabletop role-playing game "Monster World" outside the card-playing chapter of the original manga.

So to say he is the great evil god himself, of course not, but it is not completely unrelated to that great evil god.

"Let me guess, the vest of the great evil god?" Fujiki You Xuan asked. "Is that your true identity?"

But Eddie shook his head.

"The great evil god Zorc is dead," Eddie said lightly. "What's left now is just an empty shell that he once incarnated into countless years ago."

He looked down at his right hand and clenched his fist, as if feeling the power within it. A darkness seemed to radiate from Zorc, spreading to him, churning around him.

"This duel is about enough here," Eddie said.

Fujiki You Xuan frowned slightly, suddenly seeming to think of something.

"Your purpose, is it just to summon this guy? Dark Ruler Ha Des?" Fujiki You Xuan said. "What is this? Some kind of resurrection ritual through a dark duel?"

Eddie shook his head, not intending to explain, just waved his hand.

"Dark Ruler Ha Des effect activated.

Once per turn, during my Main Phase, roll a die and apply the effect based on the die number.

If 1 or 2 appears, destroy all monsters on the opponent's field.

If 3, 4, or 5 appears, destroy one monster on the opponent's field.

If 6 appears, all monsters on my field are destroyed."

"Only the number 6 is a side effect," Fujiki You Xuan nodded. "1/6 probability of failure."

"But true power can transcend fate," Eddie said.

Saying that, a die had already churned and transformed in the darkness in mid-air, rolling twice and stopping on the ground.

Number 4.

"Just number 4."

Eddie didn't seem very satisfied with this result, and he tightened his fist again, as if feeling the power in his body.

"It's okay, but it's enough.

The effect of number 4 is to destroy one monster on the opponent's field. Destroy 'Tytannial, Princess of Camellias'."

Zorc just stood in place without even moving. The darkness on his body erupted like a tide in all directions, swallowing Tytannial in the blink of an eye, and soon ground her into powder in the darkness.

However, after the darkness dissipated, Eddie only then noticed a Trap Fujiki You Xuan had opened at some point in the back row.

Continuous Trap, Summon Limit - Rushing Monsters.

Noticing Eddie's gaze, Fujiki You Xuan smiled: "This one, activated when you summoned Zorc.

As long as this card is on the field, monsters Special Summoned by both of us must be changed to Attack Position, and those monsters must attack if they can."

Eddie frowned and pondered for a moment: "It doesn't matter, Zorc's power exists for attack." "Battle," Eddie said. "Dark Ruler Ha Des, direct attack on the Duel King."

Scarlet light flashed in Zorc's eyes, as if filled with desire for blood and the power of the duelist, swallowing with boundless darkness.

Even Fujiki You Xuan felt a quite terrifying darkness from it.

"Although I don't know what your purpose is, there is one thing I agree with. This duel is about enough here."

He slowly raised his arm.

"Activate Set card, Continuous Trap 'Mirror Wall'!

As long as this Trap is on the field, the attack power of all attacking monsters is halved!"

The transparent silver mirror wall rose from the ground, blocking in front of Fujiki You Xuan like an iceberg.

A Trap used by Mai Valentine in the original work. There was no cost in the Duelist Kingdom period, but after the physical card was released, a cost was added: the user needs to pay 2000 life points during each of their Standby Phases to maintain this card, otherwise it is destroyed.

Eddie said: "Want to halve Zorc's attack power to reduce damage?"

"Reduce damage? Not at all," Fujiki You Xuan said lightly. "No, I want the duel to end this turn.

Don't miss a single word of the content!

Chain activation of Set card, Continuous Trap 'Call of the Haunted', revive a monster from my Graveyard in Attack Position.

I Special Summon 'Cactus Fighter' from the Graveyard."

【Cactus Fighter, ATK 1900】

Eddie understood: "If Zorc attacks, the Mirror Wall will halve Zorc's attack power, and Zorc will be countered by Cactus Fighter.

Then because the number of monsters on the field has changed, the battle is replayed, I won't attack..."

Only then did he stop abruptly, realizing something.

Eddie: "!"

Right.

He cannot stop, cannot terminate the attack.

Because Dark Ruler Ha Des is a monster Special Summoned to the field. Summon Limit - Rushing Monsters' restriction, Special Summoned monsters must attack.

And now there is only Cactus Fighter on Fujiki You Xuan's field; if he cannot cancel the attack, he has to continue attacking Cactus Fighter.

"Seems you've noticed," Fujiki You Xuan smiled. "Not bad, Zorc's attack cannot be stopped, continue attacking Cactus Fighter.

And at this moment, Mirror Wall triggers, Zorc's attack power is halved."

【Dark Ruler Ha Des, ATK 2700 → ATK 1350】

Zorc, who crashed into the mirror, was dizzy and his combat power was greatly reduced. Little Cactus took the opportunity to strike, and a slap full of spikes slapped Zorc into an explosion.

【Eddie, LP 2600 → LP 2050】

Eddie raised his arm to block the impact, and said calmly: "So that's it, the restriction of Rushing Monsters forces me to attack, Mirror Wall triggers a counterattack when attacking.

Using this combo to ensure Zorc is destroyed..."

"No, it's not to ensure Zorc is destroyed," Fujiki You Xuan shook his finger. "But to ensure you die thoroughly."

Eddie: "!"

"The effect of Cactus Fighter: when this card destroys a monster by battle, Special Summon one 'Needle Token' on the opponent's field in Defense Position."

【Needle Token, DEF 500】

"At this moment, the effect of Continuous Trap 'Summon Limit - Rushing Monsters'," Fujiki You Xuan said. "Special Summoned monsters must be changed to Attack Position."

【Needle Token, ATK 500】

Eddie: "!"

His pupils contracted, and since the duel began, the always calm expression finally showed a ripple of shock.

Cactus's effect, destroy a monster and summon a token on the opponent's field.

Summon Limit - Rushing Monsters, makes the Special Summoned monster turn to Attack and must attack.

In other words, the summoned token must attack Cactus again. Cactus destroys the token, and summons a new token. The new token turns to Attack, continues to be forced to attack...

This is an infinite loop!

In shock, the Needle Token had already crashed into Cactus again under the Trap effect, committing suicide and exploding. Of course, it was also halved by the Mirror Wall during the period.

【Eddie, LP 2050 → LP 400】

"Destroyed a monster by battle again, Cactus Fighter continues to Special Summon 'Needle Token' on your field," Fujiki You Xuan said. "The effect of Summon Limit, the token is forced to turn to Attack, and must launch an attack."

【Needle Token, ATK 500】

He paused and smiled.

"The final blow. Any last words?"

Only then did Eddie recover from the shock of this sudden infinite loop.

Then his expression returned to normal, and he smiled at Fujiki You Xuan.

"Amazing, impressive, have to admire it. No wonder you are the absolute King of the Dueling world."

Eddie said, darkness churning in his eyes. His mouth didn't move again, it seemed like it wasn't him speaking, but a voice came from his body.

"Looking forward to... the next... meeting."

Fujiki You Xuan frowned.

Next meeting, what does that mean?

But at this time, the Needle Token had already been forced to turn to Attack under the Trap effect, forced to launch a suicide charge towards Cactus again.

Little Cactus gave another simple slap, shattering this little token, and also ending the game.

【Eddie, LP 400 → LP 0】
