Chapter 666: Trap Nemesis

Jinzo - Lord of the Traps, also known as Jinzo. The strongest trap nemesis that can seal any trap effect just by existing on the field, a human-shaped walking trap interferer.

Odion naturally couldn't not recognize it.

First of all, as a trap specialist player, he naturally couldn't not recognize a nemesis-type monster like Jinzo. Secondly, this was not the first time he had encountered Jinzo.

Back in the Duel City Top 8, Odion impersonated his master and participated in the competition under Marik's name, facing Joey in the Top 8.

At first, Odion, who was all red traps, relied on his superb digging technique to pit Joey until he was dizzy, and Joey couldn't even touch a finger of his.

Until Joey's flashback atmosphere was brewed in place, at the critical moment, he drew Jinzo, directly paralyzing Odion's entire deck, almost being single-handedly brushed by Jinzo for the whole deck.

Although Jinzo was indeed solved by him later, that game undoubtedly left an indelible impression on Odion. Jinzo was undoubtedly a red-named monster at the top of his personal wanted list, and the danger level might be even higher than the Three Phantom Gods.

At this moment, looking at the magic card Fujiki You Xuan slapped down, Odion's mouth couldn't help but twitch.

What the hell is letting the opponent search for traps from the deck. You flew Jinzo directly from the deck, what's the point of me searching for any traps?

"Of course, this is not mandatory."

Fujiki You Xuan smiled and said.

"You have the right to refuse, you can choose not to search for traps from the deck and set them."

"If you don't search, then I can't special summon Jinzo, but at most add it to my hand from the deck."

Odion felt slightly relieved.

Only add to hand, huh?

That was slightly stronger.

"Then I choose not to search for traps." Odion said.

Fujiki You Xuan: "Then I choose to add 'Jinzo - Lord of the Traps' from the deck to my hand."

Fujiki You Xuan drew the Jinzo monster card that popped out automatically from the deck into his hand.

Odion remained calm. At this time, of course, it was impossible to choose to accept the effect and search for traps from the deck; if Jinzo appeared immediately, searching for any traps would be meaningless.

And just adding to the hand, no matter what, Jinzo was a level 6 high-level monster that needed tributes to be summoned to the field. And now the opponent had also clearly stated that he had this card, so he could take precautions next...

"The effect of 'Psychic Electronic Giant' in my hand."

Fujiki You Xuan showed his hand.

"When the opponent has more magic and trap cards on the field than I do, Psychic Electronic Giant can be special summoned directly from the hand."

Odion: "!"

"You have two face-down cards on your field, and my back row is blank, so naturally you have more magic and traps on your field. Therefore, Psychic Electronic Giant is special summoned to the field without cost."

Fujiki You Xuan slapped the monster onto the field without any cost. But a burst of golden electric light exploded on Fujiki You Xuan's field, and a golden steel giant shadow appeared under the surround of transparent current, and the alloy body of the electronic giant fell in front of Fujiki You Xuan like a thunder fortress.

【Psychic Electronic Giant, ATK 2200】

Odion narrowed his eyes.

Special summoned directly to the field, without using the normal summon point. And the opponent clearly had the Jinzo he just searched in his hand, so next, it should be without suspense...

"Offer 'Psychic Electronic Giant' as a tribute."

Fujiki You Xuan raised his hand.

"Man-made psychic king, trap nemesis! Level six—"

"—Jinzo - Lord of the Traps, summoned!"

The psychic giant's body was quickly wrapped in current, and under the entanglement of electric light, it dispersed and disintegrated, turning into light spots and dissipating.

Immediately after, it was replaced by a storm of psychic power, a pair of red eyes lit up strikingly in the storm, and the tall, thin, straight metal body appeared in the storm.

Jinzo - Lord of the Traps, summoned!

It had been a long time since he got another chance to appear, and today he was fighting a trap enthusiast, a Tombkeeper underworld person, which was just the right profession, his Jinzo's home field.

Therefore, the Jinzo that appeared today was exceptionally strong, the overlord aura seemed to have turned into substantial current eruption, forming a transparent current force field surrounding the whole body. Heh, like the underworld, huh? Like traps, huh?

I hit traps!

Odion: "Counter trap 'Backlash'!"

"The summon, flip summon of a monster is invalidated, and that monster is forcibly returned to the holder's hand!"

Jinzo laughed loudly.

Muda!

Mere red traps, in front of my psychic king...

Eh, wait, what did you say?

Jinzo was shocked, his heart seemed to miss a beat.

"Jinzo exists on the field, all traps are invalidated, I know. But the premise is that this card is successfully summoned."

Odion said in a deep voice.

"If the summon is invalidated, everything is empty talk. Return Jinzo - Lord of the Traps to the hand!"

Jinzo roared unwillingly, but his figure had already turned into a burst of golden light and flew back to Fujiki You Xuan's hand.

Jinzo, who was forcibly turned back into a fairy ghost state, was furious.

Shame! It's simply a shame!

He, the dignified trap nemesis, the strongest anti-underworld warrior, would one day also fall into the hands of red traps...

"As expected of a trap pillar, you can even pit Jinzo, amazing."

(No content lost!)

Fujiki You Xuan smiled and expressed approval.

"Then, activate magic card 'Dark World Dealings'."

"Both sides draw one card from the deck, and then discard one card from their hand."

Odion and Fujiki You Xuan each drew a card, and then sent a card from their hand to the graveyard.

"Then activate magic card 'Foolish Burial'." Fujiki You Xuan said, "Send a monster card from the deck to the graveyard."

Although it was called Foolish Burial, it actually didn't look foolish at all, and it was very easy to make the opponent look stupid.

Fujiki You Xuan drew another card that popped out of the deck and sent it to the graveyard. But that card immediately returned from the graveyard with a burst of golden light.

Odion's heart moved: "Is it a monster that triggers an effect when sent to the graveyard?"

"Correct."

Fujiki You Xuan held the monster card with two fingers and shook it in front of Odion.

"What I just sent to the graveyard is 'Jinzo - Returner'."

"When this card is sent to the graveyard, you can select a 'Jinzo - Lord of the Traps' in your graveyard and special summon the selected monster!"

"Jinzo..." Odion was suddenly startled, "The hand discarded by Dark World Dealings..."

"Correct, it is Jinzo."

Fujiki You Xuan took the Jinzo that popped out of the graveyard again.

"Descend again—"

"—Jinzo - Lord of the Traps!"

Once again accompanied by the psychic storm and whirlwind, Jinzo returned to the field arrogantly, roaring to the sky—

—Resurrection match return!

【Jinzo - Lord of the Traps, ATK 2400】

Odion's face was ugly.

This didn't stop it...

"Battle!" Fujiki You Xuan said, "Jinzo - Lord of the Traps, direct attack!"
