Chapter 715: Evolution Beyond God

The attack of The Wicked Avatar!

It was as if deep, ominous darkness had eroded the entire dimension, and indescribable fear followed. The breath of decay and despair was enough to wither trees, wither flowers, and make all life shrink before that wave of fear.

As if a nightmare had turned into reality, gained a physical form, and converged into a wave, pushing forward with great momentum.

Neo Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon roared, spitting out destructive jet light beams from its mouth to counterattack. But even the Ultimate Dragon could not resist the invasion of fear. Under the pressure of the Wicked God, its power was also greatly weakened. Although it resisted with all its might, it was still powerless. The light beam was instantly annihilated in that tyrannical darkness, and the main body was also shattered.

【Kaiba, LP 4000 → LP 2250】

"Set one card, end turn."

The Wicked God took the opportunity to mock.

"Heh, it seems your so-called evolution is nothing more than that. Maybe it's indeed a little bit better than back then, but in front of God, it's still just a slightly larger ant."

"An ant, huh."

Kaiba was not angry, just sneered.

"Then you'd better remember your words, and then watch how you are crushed by the power of an ant.

My turn, draw!"

Kaiba drew a card.

"Normal Summon 'Lord of D.' in Defense Position."

A dragon lord mage, with a wild image, and a large red cape behind him. In his hand was a very strange guitar, cyan-blue, with three dragon heads modeled after the Blue-Eyes White Dragon, seemingly designed based on the Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon.

【Lord of D., DEF 1100】

"Lord of D., when successfully summoned, discard a Spell or Trap card from my hand, and add 'The Flute of Summoning Dragon', 'Dragon's Awakening Melody', or 'Dragon Resurrection Rhapsody' from the Deck to my hand."

Kaiba sent a card from his hand to the Graveyard, and then a card in the Deck popped out automatically, which he drew into his hand.

"I add Spell card 'Dragon's Awakening Melody' from the Deck to my hand!"

"And the card I just discarded from my hand is the Spell card 'Compensation Hand'." Kaiba said. "Compensation Hand is sent to the Graveyard from the hand, I can draw two cards from the Deck." (Original card)

Kaiba drew two cards, and immediately inserted the searched spell into the Duel Disk.

"Spell card 'Dragon's Awakening Melody' activate!

Discard one card from my hand, add up to two Dragon-Type monsters with 3000 or more ATK and 2500 or less DEF from the Deck to my hand!"

The Deck performed an automatic search again, and two more cards were drawn into Kaiba's hand. He flipped them to show: "Add 'Blue-Eyes White Dragon' and 'Blue-Eyes Alternative White Dragon' from the Deck to my hand!"

These were the two fusion materials that had just been washed back into the Deck by the effect of "Ultimate Fusion" last turn.

"Next is the monster effect of 'Blue-Eyes Alternative White Dragon' in my hand." Kaiba said. "Alternative White Dragon can be Special Summoned directly by revealing 'Blue-Eyes White Dragon' in my hand.

Bring light to this turbid field again—

—Blue-Eyes Alternative White Dragon, summon!"

Another white-hot pillar of light shot into the sky, and countless flying particles condensed into the posture of a holy white dragon, raising its head to face the huge Wicked God.

【Blue-Eyes Alternative White Dragon, ATK 3000】

"It's it again." The Wicked God said. "But it's useless no matter how many times you do it. Feel the power of fear, tremble! In front of The Wicked Avatar, Alternative White Dragon's ATK must also be halved!"

【Blue-Eyes Alternative White Dragon, ATK 3000 → ATK 1500】

"But monster effects don't change." Kaiba said lightly. "The effect of Blue-Eyes Alternative White Dragon, once per turn, destroy a monster on the opponent's field."

The Wicked God's face changed: "Nani? To think there is such a troublesome effect, do you want to..." Kaiba said: "Destroy 'The Wicked Avatar'!"

Alternative White Dragon poured out light bullets from its mouth, turning into a beam of destructive impact and blasting out. The white light blasted straight into the Wicked God's chest, exploding violently, and the dazzling white light almost seemed to dispel the darkness.

But when the light and smoke dissipated, the Wicked God still stood tall.

"Heh heh... hahahaha—"

The Wicked God changed from his previous panic and couldn't help laughing loudly.

"Stupid, do you think this level of attack will be useful to me? I told you, I am a God! I won't be defeated by a weak dragon like yours!"

But Kaiba was expressionless, and there was no half-point of frustration or annoyance on his face. On the contrary, a moment later, he actually sneered.

"That's right. As a Wicked God, if there is no resistance comparable to a Phantom God, then there is no point in defeating it."

The Wicked God frowned: "What did you say?"

Kaiba said: "The attack just now was just a test, to see if you Wicked Gods are really worth my defeating.

(Content omitted)

You said my Blue-Eyes are not worth mentioning even after evolving over these years, very good. Then open your eyes and watch, the power that surpasses God!

Activate Spell card 'Polymerization'!"

Kaiba held up the card in his hand, and a fusion vortex suddenly appeared above his head. The Blue-Eyes Alternative White Dragon on the field, as well as the images of the other two Blue-Eyes White Dragons in his hand, were immediately projected onto the field.

The three white dragons were rolled into the fusion vortex one after another, and intense white light suddenly erupted from the vortex. The dragon's bone wings spread out tyrannically, endless light storms raged, light pillars descended from outside the sky, three dragon heads danced wildly, letting out dragon roars that pierced the world.

"The strongest dragon race evolved over three thousand years, descending in an ultimate posture—

—Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon, summon!!!"

The Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon from Kaiba's initial version, the triple fusion of Blue-Eyes, the light overlord of the dragon race!

【Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon, ATK 4500】

The Wicked God shouted: "No matter what evolution you are, everyone is equal in front of God!

Fear Deterrence!"

The Wicked God's fear power erupted again, and the invisible deterrence pressed toward Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon. But its ultimate power, which had always been effective, was defeated this time, and Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon was fearless, letting out a roar from its mouth, and the momentum directly shattered the Wicked God's suppression.

【Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon, ATK 4500】

The Wicked God's face changed suddenly. This time it was no longer acting, but a real change in color.

"Why?" The Wicked God asked in a deep voice.

"I said, the evolution of Blue-Eyes has surpassed even God." Kaiba sneered, indicating his Duel Disk.

A ball of white light bloomed in his Duel Disk, turning into the phantom of the previous Neo Ultimate Dragon in mid-air. The shadow seemed to overlap on the Ultimate Dragon on the field, turning into a ball of holy white light covering it.

"Neo Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon?" The Wicked God said. "This guy should have gone to the Graveyard..."

"It's precisely because it's in the Graveyard that it has meaning." Kaiba shouted sharply. "When Neo Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon exists in the Graveyard, the Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon on my field is unaffected by any card effects from the opponent!" (Original effect)

Wicked God: "!"
