Chapter 761: Who Doesn't Know How to Lock?

"The attack power of The Agent of Force - Mars is determined by the difference in our life points. Our life points have changed during this turn, so Mars's attack power has also changed accordingly."

【Fujiki You Xuan, LP 14900】

【Paradox, LP 1500】

【The Agent of Force - Mars, ATK 13400】

Paradox's expression was solemn. This level of attack power fluctuation had almost no impact on the situation; as long as he was touched by this thing, he would be finished.

"Battle continues." Fujiki You Xuan said. "The Agent of Force - Mars, direct attack!"

Mars raised the giant hammer in his hand again, and that hammer hit with the momentum of shaking the sky and the earth.

Fujiki You Xuan smiled: "A future person who possesses the power of the strongest spirits from all dimensions shouldn't be so easy to let me down, right?"

Hearing the sarcasm in his words, Paradox's mouth twitched, then he snorted coldly.

"Your arrogance can only go this far, wrong King.

Activate set card, Continuous Trap—"

"—Skill Drain!!!"

His set card in the back field was activated, and a boundless vortex erupted from that trap. The entire field was immediately covered by that vortex, and the unspeakable pressure suppressed all things in the world, and the entire world seemed to be eclipsed in front of this card.

Even Fujiki You Xuan's expression changed slightly.

Skill Drain!

This guy actually had the weapon of mass destruction that was a must-have for self-closing players in legends, active on the front line of social retaliation since its birth, and even today had destructive power against many mainstream decks, Skill Drain!

Any self-closing player in Yu-Gi-Oh, no, it should be said that any card player shouldn't be unfamiliar with this card. Because this card really had a pivotal position in the underworld.

And with the evolution of history and the change of environment, the importance of monster effects in the Yu-Gi-Oh system has become more and more important. Resource searching and dispatching, deck development, field-clearing capabilities, and the ability to interrupt the opponent's actions outside the turn...

Today, monster effects have replaced almost all of these functions, and the status of powerful effect monsters has overall surpassed that of magic and trap cards.

In modern Yu-Gi-Oh, when a mature card player judges the value of a new card, the resistance that can "negate the activation of opponent monster effects" is definitely more valuable than "negating magic and traps."

Precisely because of this, "Skill Drain," which can indiscriminately turn all monsters on the field into blank slates, has not lost its value with the progress of the era and the change of versions, but has become a generation of underworld overlords that people hear about with fear.

"Skill Drain negates the effects of all monsters on the field!"

The gloom on Paradox's face was swept away, and he laughed loudly.

"The terrifying attack power of your 'The Agent of Force - Mars' was all obtained through monster effects! If the effect is negated, its original attack power is only zero!"

【The Agent of Force - Mars, ATK 13400 -> ATK 0】

Mokuba's expression also changed slightly.

"Oh no, monster effects are all negated... in this way, Marshmallon's destruction resistance, Archlord's summoning lock, and The Agent of Force's super-high attack suppression are all resolved with just one card..."

Mokuba couldn't help but look at Paradox carefully.

"Actually having such a terrifying card... who is this guy?"

Paradox sneered: "It's not like only you have locking means."

Isn't it just self-closing? Who doesn't know how?

Fujiki You Xuan said: "Then set a card, turn end."

"My turn, draw."

Paradox said.

"Activate Magic card 'Card of Adversity'. If the opponent has Special Summoned monsters and I have no monsters on the field, draw two cards from the deck." (Original card)

Paradox drew two more cards. Counting the previous Morphing Jar, he had drawn a large hand of cards. He scanned the hand he had replenished and couldn't help but lift the corners of his mouth slightly, as if he had finally seen the key card from the large number of cards drawn.

"Activate the second Field Spell—"

"—Sin World!!!"

The illusory world dominated by Sin, the domain that dominates the most powerful spirits in countless dimensions. The Sanctuary in the Sky shattered instantly, the holy white clouds were replaced by the dark domain, and the snow-white palace seemed to fall from the clouds and shatter on the mortal world.

"Sin World descends again, so I can dominate Sin monsters again."

Paradox laughed proudly.

"Therefore, I send 'Ultimate Crystal God Rainbow Dragon' from the deck to the graveyard, appear—"

"—Sin Rainbow Dragon!"

The seven-colored gems soared into the sky, swirling and dancing in mid-air, as if a rainbow bridge had been built. The giant dragon under the rainbow light dived down along the seven-colored bridge, and fell to the ground with a boom.

【Sin Rainbow Dragon, ATK 4000】

Mokuba was shocked: "Even Ultimate Crystal God..."

!

"Hahahaha! This is the power of Sin, possessing the power of the most powerful spirits in all time and space! And this..."

Paradox took out two more cards that popped out of the deck automatically and sent them to the graveyard.

"I send another 'Blue-Eyes White Dragon' and 'Red-Eyes Black Dragon' from the deck to the graveyard."

"Appear!"

"Sin Blue-Eyes White Dragon!"

"Sin Red-Eyes Black Dragon!"

One black and one white, the legendary dragons that were equally active in the early DM, the White Dragon that brings victory and the Black Dragon that brings possibilities, both descended on the field.

【Sin Blue-Eyes White Dragon, ATK 3000】

【Sin Red-Eyes Black Dragon, ATK 2400】

In an instant, three powerful dragons descended!

The researchers at the institute were all dumbfounded: "Summoning high-level monsters like this all at once... what kind of reckless deck is this!?"

The characteristics of the Sin deck almost exceeded their consistent understanding of dueling. Such powerful high-level big monsters jumping out randomly as if they didn't cost money was simply a deck that transcended common sense.

Fujiki You Xuan raised an arm to block the hurricane of monster summoning, looked up at the three giant dragons, and said: "Indiscriminately locking all monster effects on the field with Skill Drain, and then suppressing with the high-attack advantage of Sin monsters?"

You don't say, this is really a powerful tactic.

The characteristic of Sin monsters is that they easily summon high-attack big monsters, and most of their own monster effects are side effects. They are a bit stronger in the anime. If it's a physical card, it will explode without a field, it will explode if there are more than two on the field, and there are many restrictions.

But if it's under Skill Drain, it locks the opponent's actions while negating the side effects of the Sin monsters themselves, killing two birds with one stone, and it can easily suppress the opponent until they can't move.

Turn the opponent into a blank slate, and then rely on rich axe-king mutual-cutting experience to take down the opponent.

"Hahahaha, even if you understand, it's already useless!"

Paradox shouted.

"Sin Rainbow Dragon! Attack 'The Agent of Force - Mars'!"
