Chapter 763: What Kind of Dueling King Is This?

"It's almost time to get to the main event."

Hearing this, Paradox's heart tightened again.

What is he doing this time?

Fujiki You Xuan: "Use another 'Pot of Greed' to draw two more cards from the deck."

"First is that eyesore 'Skill Drain'." Fujiki You Xuan looked up at the underworld Continuous Trap in Paradox's back field. "The Sin deck that can easily summon a large number of high-attack monsters, combined with Skill Drain where all effects are silent..."

"It's indeed a quite shameless combination. Monster effects can't be used, and you can't compare in attack power..."

He sighed as he spoke, appearing to be forced into a corner.

"No choice, then I have to use this move..."

Saying this, a trap appeared out of thin air in the back field.

"Continuous Trap 'Royal Decree'!

Except for this card, all trap card effects on the field are negated!"

Paradox: "!!!"

Royal Decree?

A trap with the same effect as Jinzo, regarded as an absolute trap nemesis. Because its trap-locking effect is often used as a sharp weapon specifically to restrain underworld decks, but at the same time, because of its own locking attribute, it is often added to the underworld ranks to help the evildoer, making the underworld even more underworld.

This card was indeed quite bad for his Skill Drain system, but what shocked Paradox even more was—

—Why can you activate traps from your hand?

But the next moment he knew the answer. The phantom of a monster appeared in the air behind Fujiki You Xuan, its figure flickering, the head was the Eye of Horus, and the hands were executioner's blades, like a ghost of an executioner.

"Dark Lucius the Executioner!" Paradox recognized it.

"In the turn that Dark Lucius the Executioner is sent to the graveyard, I can activate trap cards from my hand this turn." Fujiki You Xuan said. "The effect of Royal Decree, negate 'Skill Drain'!"

Under the self-closing encounter, the luster of Skill Drain immediately dimmed. The ban that had been suppressing all monsters on the field was immediately lifted, replaced by an invisible ban suppressing the back fields of both sides.

Paradox's expression was solemn: "Skill Drain is negated, then monster effects..."

"Correct." Fujiki You Xuan smiled. "In this way, the monster effect of 'Archlord Kristya' becomes effective. Next, you can't Special Summon monsters again."

Paradox bit his lip, his face gloomy and silent.

"Not yet." Fujiki You Xuan said. "I then Normal Summon the second 'Angel O1'."

【Angel O1, ATK 200】

"The Special Summon effect of the monster named Angel O1 can only be used once per turn, so the second Angel O1 cannot be Special Summoned to the field."

Fujiki You Xuan said.

"However, as long as the Special Summoned Angel O1 exists on the field, in addition to the normal Normal Summon, I can perform one additional Tribute Summon for a level 7 or higher monster!"

Fujiki You Xuan picked up the two O1s on the Duel Disk at once.

"Therefore, I use both 'Angel O1's on the field as offerings, Tribute Summon—"

"—Level 7, Guardian Angel Joan!"

Both little angels turned into light points and dissipated, and a storm of summoning soared into the sky. In the storm appeared a figure that was almost transparent, the wings of protection spread out, and the saint descended slowly in the ten thousand rays of light.

【Guardian Angel Joan, ATK 2800】

"Summoning three angels all at once." Paradox said coldly. "But these three angels are not the opponents of my Sin monsters."

"Don't be so sure." Fujiki You Xuan smiled. "Splendid Jin Xing's monster effect."

"As long as Jin Xing exists on the field, the attack and defense of all monsters other than Fairy-type on the field are all lowered by 500!" Paradox frowned.

Other than Fairy-type... There are no Fairy-types in his Sin deck.

【Sin Blue-Eyes White Dragon, ATK 3000 -> ATK 2500】

【Sin Cyber End Dragon, ATK 4000 -> ATK 3500】

【Sin Red-Eyes Black Dragon, ATK 2400 -> ATK 1900】

"Then activate Magic card 'Cards from the Sky'." Fujiki You Xuan said. "In the turn that a Tribute Summon has been performed, draw two cards from the deck. However, the cards drawn cannot be used this turn, and if they can be set, at least one must be set."

Fujiki You Xuan drew two cards, glanced at them, added them to his hand, and then played another card in his hand.

"Activate Magic card 'Soul Capture'.

Destroy a monster on the opponent's field, then the opponent restores 1000 life points.

Destroy 'Sin Rainbow Dragon'!"

!

As the strongest Rainbow Dragon on the field, it was also immediately locked as the primary target. A giant demon claw reached out, locking onto Rainbow Dragon, as if forcibly extracting the dragon-shaped soul from Rainbow Dragon's body.

Sin Rainbow Dragon roared, but after its soul was extracted, its body soon shattered and turned into fragments.

【Paradox, LP 1500 -> LP 2500】

Paradox raised an arm to block the smoke and impact released when Rainbow Dragon exploded, his face only becoming gloomier, still not speaking.

Fujiki You Xuan then waved his hand directly: "Battle Phase.

Use 'Guardian Angel Joan' to attack 'Sin Blue-Eyes White Dragon' whose attack power has been lowered!"

Golden light slashed down from the top of Blue-Eyes White Dragon's head like a sword, splitting the White Dragon in two. Endless golden light burst from the crack where the White Dragon's body was cut open, turning into a fireball and swallowing it.

Paradox said: "One Day of Peace's effect, even if the monster is destroyed, I won't take battle damage."

Indeed, the White Dragon fell, but the explosion of fire hit a transparent barrier a few meters away from Paradox and was completely blocked.

"I know." Fujiki You Xuan smiled. "But Guardian Angel Joan's monster effect is also activated.

When this card destroys a monster in battle and sends it to the graveyard, restore life points equal to the original attack power of the destroyed monster."

"Original attack power..." Paradox said. "Sin Blue-Eyes White Dragon's original attack power is 3000..."

"Correct, so I restore another 3000 life points!"

The energy released after the White Dragon was destroyed was soon absorbed into Fujiki You Xuan's body like a traction, turning into life point restoration.

【Fujiki You Xuan, LP 10700 -> LP 13700】

Paradox gritted his teeth.

Really feel that the blood is getting more and more as you fight.

But this is not the point. The point is that the powerful Sin monsters he managed to summon are going to be wiped out again in this turn. Skill Drain is suppressed, and that damn Archlord effect has become effective again. Even if he survives this turn, he won't be able to summon monsters again...

Paradox's face is now as gloomy as water, but he still pretends to be calm, trying his best not to let others see what he is thinking, but in fact, his head is already as big as an ox.

No...

What kind of timeline did I come to?

Why did I encounter a Dueling King like this?
