Chapter 789

"My turn, draw!"

Godwin drew again, and at the same time, his pitch-black eyes shot out cold light like blades, and he said in an icy voice.

"This turn I'll let you understand that being defeated by me here, being defeated by the power of the strongest God, is your fate!"

"I activate the Spell Card Monster Reborn, which can revive any monster from the Graveyard to the field.

The one I want to revive is this one..."

He drew a monster card that had exited the Graveyard and slapped it directly onto the Duel Disk.

"I Special Summon 'Sun Priest' from the Graveyard!"

The priest used as Synchro Material at the beginning of the duel was reborn and returned to the field along with the huge Reborn mark that appeared in mid-air.

【Sun Priest, ATK 1000】

"At this moment, I activate my face-down card, Trap Card 'Call of the Reaper'!"

Godwin activated his last back-row card.

"This card can only be activated when a monster is Special Summoned from your Graveyard. Select one 'Supay' or 'Red Ant' in your Graveyard and Special Summon it!"

A card exited his Graveyard.

"I revive 'Red Ant' from the Graveyard!"

【Red Ant, ATK 700】

"Two new monsters, and you haven't used your Normal Summon for this turn," Fujiki You Xuan paused and smiled slightly, "Is it coming?"

Godwin shouted: "I Tribute 'Red Ant' and 'Sun Priest,' two monsters, Tribute Summon!

Release the ultimate power, destroy everything in the world——

——Earthbound Immortal - Wiraqocha Rasca!!!"

The moment the card was slapped onto the Duel Disk, thunder roared outside the window, and the burning purple flames twisted into an otherworldly totem in mid-air, like burning Nazca lines, as if cutting the city streets into a flesh altar.

The stone heart condensed in mid-air, its intricate veins flashing with dark red blood light, and every heartbeat seemed to shatter all the glass within a hundred meters. The citizens in the surrounding blocks were suddenly stripped of their materialized souls in a completely dazed state, and thousands of silver light streams merged into a torrent, injected into the blood vessel patterns densely covering the surface of the stone heart amidst the screams.

Earthbound Immortal - Wiraqocha Rasca, descend!

【Earthbound Immortal - Wiraqocha Rasca, ATK 1】

The Earthbound Immortal based on the condor in the Nazca lines is also the strongest of all Earthbound Immortals in the anime. The descent of the Earthbound Immortal must absorb the souls around the environment as a blood sacrifice; just this characteristic is even more evil than the three Wicked Gods.

As for how strong it is, looking at its attack power being only one point, one can see a glimpse of it.

Of course, as long as you defeat the Earthbound Immortal head-on in a duel and win the Dark Game, the souls swallowed by the Earthbound Immortal can be restored to their original state.

Fujiki You Xuan said: "I activate the other effect of 'Absolute King Back Jack' from the Graveyard.

During the opponent's turn, banish this card from the Graveyard, flip the top card of my deck, and if that card is a Normal Trap, set it to my field.

If it's not, send that card to the Graveyard."

Godwin: "The top card of your deck is the three cards whose order you decided yourself, so the top one is of course a Trap."

"Not bad."

Fujiki You Xuan smiled, waved his hand, and set the drawn card onto the field.

But Godwin didn't care at all, sneering: "Heh, so that's it. Adjusting the order of the top cards of the deck, setting a Trap to the field... your offensive moves have been resolved by me one after another, is this your next defensive means?

But Trap cards cannot be used in the turn they are set. And even if they could be used, Traps are ineffective against the Earthbound Immortal!"

Godwin laughed loudly.

"Earthbound Immortal - Wiraqocha Rasca is unaffected by any Spell or Trap card effects!

And, Wiraqocha Rasca can, once per turn, directly change the opponent's LP to 1!" (Original effect)

No matter how much LP the opponent has left, it all becomes 1 LP directly. This effect is the reason why Wiraqocha Rasca is called the "strongest Earthbound Immortal," and it is also a super rare effect that is unique in the entire Yu-Gi-Oh system.

Well, of course, when it was made into a physical card, this key effect, which is its signature feature, was castrated and not made into a physical card.

And this effect directly "changes" the LP to 1, not dealing any effect damage to the opponent. So in the rule judgment, this effect does not belong to "dealing effect damage," so all effects that are immune to damage or reflect damage are ineffective against it.

"Earthbound Immortal's effect activates!

Polar Star Obedience!"

The giant condor Earthbound Immortal flapped its huge wings, and the storm of destruction wrapped in a burst of strong light crashed down, violently sweeping across Fujiki You Xuan, as if to shake the building down.

【Fujiki You Xuan, LP 1200 → LP 1】

"And, the Earthbound Immortal can ignore monsters on the field and attack the player directly."

Godwin narrowed his eyes and sneered.

【Earthbound Immortal - Wiraqocha Rasca, ATK 1】

If the direct attack passes, it will directly determine Fujiki You Xuan's defeat.

But Godwin paused for two seconds to observe the opponent, only to find that Fujiki You Xuan was expressionless, looking calm and unruffled, as if he had no reaction to this.

"Hmph, of course, I cannot conduct a Battle Phase in the turn Wiraqocha Rasca activates its effect," Godwin snorted coldly. "But if you think you can survive for another turn like this, you're too naive!

Activate Spell Card——

——Fireball!

Deal 500 points of damage to the opponent!"

Fujiki You Xuan raised his eyebrows: "That's really simple and crude."

Fireball, an extremely simple and crude effect, one card for 500 LP of the opponent. Normally, it's a card with no use, but as a representative of effect damage cards, it's reasonable to pair it with an Earthbound Immortal that can directly change the opponent's LP to 1.

"Die!"

Godwin shouted, and the lethal fireball had already exploded toward Fujiki You Xuan.

Fujiki You Xuan waved his hand: "Activate face-down card."

Godwin was shocked: "Your face-down card was just set to the field by the effect of J Revolution, a Trap set within this turn..."

"Normally it can't be activated," Fujiki You Xuan said. "But cards set by the effect of Absolute King Back Jack can also be activated in the turn they are set.

Therefore, activate Trap Card 'Natural Reflection'!

All effect damage dealt by the opponent within this turn is reflected back to the opponent!"

This effect is ineffective against the Earthbound Immortal's effect just now. Because the Earthbound Immortal "changes" the opponent to 1 LP instead of dealing damage, but it is undoubtedly useful against this Fireball.

The reflection barrier appeared, and the Fireball slammed into the barrier, being reflected back onto Godwin's own face.

Godwin: "Ugh!" 【Godwin, LP 3000 → LP 2500】

Blasted back half a step by his own Fireball, Godwin groaned.

"Tch, tricks one after another..."

Natural Reflection can reflect all effect damage this turn, even if other means are used to deal damage later, it's the same. The Earthbound Immortal's self-restriction also prevents him from conducting a Battle Phase this turn, so he really can't finish him off this turn.

"Then I'll let you live for one last turn."

Godwin said coldly.

"Cherish your last turn."

"Ah, of course."

Fujiki You Xuan smiled.

"Because, this is also the last turn of this duel."

!

Godwin: "!"

Nani?

This guy...

The Earthbound Immortal has already appeared, and he has the invincible Sun and Moon Dragon combo acting as an absolute line of defense. His own LP is still a completely abundant 2500, while the opponent's LP is only 1.

In such a situation of absolute advantage, the opponent actually threatened to kill him in this turn?

What kind of dimensional joke is this?

"Wiraqocha Rasca, forcibly changing the opponent to 1 LP, is indeed a very powerful effect. If encountered for the first time, I'm afraid it would indeed be easy to be killed instantly."

Fujiki You Xuan's smile gradually became dangerous.

"But what if I knew about the existence of this Earthbound Immortal from the beginning and had been waiting for it to descend?"

Godwin was stunned.

"What do you mean?"

"My turn, draw." Fujiki You Xuan didn't explain further, just said indifferently, "Activate face-down card, Spell Card 'Armed Regeneration'.

Select an Equip Spell from the Graveyard, and set that card to my field or equip it to a monster on my field.

I set the Equip Spell 'Black Pendant,' which was piled into the Graveyard earlier, to the field."

Godwin: "Black Pendant?"

He suddenly had a slightly bad premonition.

"Then activate this card—"

Fujiki You Xuan snapped his fingers, and a Spell Card appeared in his back row.

The final Spell that decided fate and brought the curtain down on the entire duel.

"Spell Card - Great Reversal Puzzle!

Can only be activated by sending all cards in my hand and on my field to the Graveyard. Then draw one card from the top of my deck, guess the type of this card, and if I guess correctly, both players' LP... are swapped directly!"

Godwin: "!!!"

Nani!?

LP swapped directly, wouldn't that mean...

Godwin's pupils shook, suddenly thinking of Fujiki You Xuan's last operation in the previous turn.

Absolute King Back Jack, can adjust the order of the top cards of the deck.

The first card on the top is the Trap Card "Natural Reflection," which was set to the field by Fujiki You Xuan using the effect of Absolute King in the previous turn.

The second card is the card Fujiki You Xuan just drew in the draw phase of this turn.

He adjusted the order of the top three cards of the deck, which means this third card is also placed there by himself.

It would be a ghost if he didn't guess it right...

"You... you want..."

Godwin suddenly began to feel his mouth dry.

At this moment, he suddenly seemed to feel deeply the "fate" he had been talking about.

Now he seemed to be looking directly at this so-called fate, feeling the power of fate, unshakable, domineeringly standing in front of him, telling himself that even if you do it all over again, the ending will still be defeat.

And at this very moment, this fate turned into the image of this smiling devil in front of him, although he was smiling on his face, he was indeed so cold, so terrifying.

This is the real devil.

Able to take away all your hope without changing his face, or even while smiling.

"Then I guess, the next card is a monster card."

Fujiki You Xuan drew the card unhurriedly.

Then he revealed it unhurriedly, and said in a tone that was almost perfunctory.

"Wow, look, I'm so lucky, it really is a monster card."

Godwin: "..."

"The effect of Great Reversal Puzzle, our LP is swapped."

【Fujiki You Xuan, LP 1 → LP 2500】

【Godwin, LP 2500 → LP 1】

"And when Great Reversal Puzzle is activated, I need to send all cards on my field and in my hand to the Graveyard. Including the Equip Spell 'Black Pendant' that was just recovered from the Graveyard."

Fujiki You Xuan said indifferently.

"When Black Pendant is sent from the field to the Graveyard, deal 500 points of damage to the opponent."

Godwin: "..."

【Godwin, LP 1 → LP 0】
