Chapter 873

"5600 points of damage in one breath!"

Leo, who was still worried a second ago, wished he could take off on the spot.

"Awesome, worthy of Uncle Goodwin!"

After all, he was the uncle who used Gudo to slap himself in the face back then, he was fierce.

Luna also said: "In a situation that seemed absolutely unfavorable, he could suddenly use such a reversal move..."

Great Saturn was already swaying, and magma seemed to be churning in the scorching core, and the huge iron ball seemed to be ready to expand and explode at any time. Once this explosion succeeded, Rudger would be killed instantly before his Earthbound Immortal had time to appear!

But after all, he is the dignified Dark Signer leader, and Rudger also has countermeasures here.

"Activate face-down card, Trap Card 'Altar of Sacrifice'!" Rudger said, "Tribute one monster on your field and recover Life Points equal to that monster's original ATK!"

"I Tribute 'Underground Arachne'!"

Another huge altar emerged under the field, and the spider monster female's body instantly disintegrated into endless blood, and was absorbed into the altar, and the exploded blood mist was all absorbed into Rudger's body and converted into Life Points.

【Rudger, LP 4000 → LP 6400】

Leo: "Life Points 6400!"

"Not only that," Yusei said, "And because 'Underground Arachne' was Tributed before 'Junk Destroyer' could destroy Great Saturn, Great Saturn, which lost its equipment target as an Equip Card, was automatically destroyed."

"In this way, when Junk Destroyer's effect was processed, Great Saturn was no longer on the field, and Junk Destroyer's target was lost..."

Sixteen Night Akiza said: "If it couldn't be destroyed by the effect, Great Saturn's effect wouldn't be triggered, and Goodwin's finishing combination was cracked."

Leo: "Ah, how so! Damn, what a pity, it was clearly a very beautiful combination..."

Of course, although Great Saturn disappeared, Junk Destroyer still fired several punches into the air, and clusters of energy were excited from the fists, bombing into the huge spider web field in mid-air. The field collapsed immediately, and was twisted into powder under the agitation of energy.

"And in this way, your field is empty." Fujiki You Xuan waved his hand, "Then use 'Junk Destroyer' to attack directly."

The steel demon god swung his heavy fists again, and all four fists fired four clusters of energy agitation, bombing Rudger's face like four shells with a bang, bang, bang, bang.

Rudger's body was blown into the air, spinning 360 degrees in the air, and fell to the ground exaggeratedly.

If it were an ordinary human, the bombing alone might be enough to be fatal.

【Rudger, LP 6400 → LP 3800】

"Activate Spell Card 'Double Door'." Fujiki You Xuan said, "Banish the same name card from the Graveyard from play, and you can draw two cards from the deck."

"Banish the other 'Double Door' sent to the Graveyard last turn from play, draw two cards." (Original card)

Fujiki You Xuan drew cards again.

Fujiki You Xuan: "Set two cards, turn end."

Rudger didn't get up, but still knelt on the ground, black smoke rising from his body. He slammed his knees to the ground, his ten fingers covering his head deep into his hair, as if he wanted to crush his skull.

In the sky, dark purple flames burned, and between the flickering light and shadow, two phantoms were tearing wildly in the twitching body. One was the ancient knight with a face like a skeleton, and the other was Rudger's face full of dark marks.

"Ahhhhhhh!"

Rudger let out a roar, and the voice in his throat was torn into pieces by two frequencies.

The onlookers were also shocked, and Leo and Luna were so scared that they retreated again and again.

Leo: "How? What's going on? What happened to this person?"

Fujiki You Xuan frowned slightly: "Rudger, are you really being fought for your body by yourself from different dimensions?"

Rudger struggled for a moment, and the two phantoms seemed to be taken back into his body, temporarily returning to normal. He stood up unsteadily and said in a deep voice: "This has nothing to do with you."

"That's hard to say." Fujiki You Xuan said, "What happened?"

Rudger pondered for two seconds, then said: "As you can see, someone stuffed another me into my body. The two of us souls, whoever can achieve the goal first, can win this body."

"As for the loser, I'm afraid he will disappear completely soon."

"Who did this?" Fujiki You Xuan asked.

But Rudger just shook his head; "I don't know, I only know that it is a certain high-level existence far beyond you and me, for it, playing with our fate may just be a game."

Fujiki You Xuan vaguely guessed that it might be the mastermind he was looking for, and continued to ask: "Then you said to achieve the goal, what goal? Did that existence give you any tasks?"

Rudger was silent for a few seconds, nodded, and then shook his head again.

"Tasks, if you must say there are, there are... that is to fulfill our respective original missions."

Rudger said lightly.

"For example, for me, that existence's request is very simple. As a Dark Signer, defeat all the Signers, let the laws of the underworld overturn the human world, let this world fall into chaos, and defeat you."

Fujiki You Xuan raised his eyebrows: "Oh? Did he specifically mention me?"

"Not bad, he said you are a huge obstacle, no matter what, you must be excluded." Rudger said, "If you must say, in my opinion, that existence's only purpose seems to be to summon darkness and chaos, that's all."

He shook his head, unwilling to say more, and turned to say firmly.

"But no reason is important anymore, what's important is that I won't die, won't be eliminated like this, no matter what, I will definitely win!"

"My turn, draw!"

Although the others didn't understand what happened just now, and didn't understand what the two did before, in short, this duel betting on life was obviously still continuing.

Leo: "Now there is not even a defensive monster on the field, and that Earthbound Immortal altar can't get new counters!"

Rudger just sneered and said: "Activate face-down card. Trap Card 'Offering to the Earthbound Immortal'."

"Pay half of the Life Points to add two Earthbound Immortal Counters to the Continuous Trap 'Altar of the Earthbound Immortal'."

【Rudger, LP 3800 → LP 1900】

With the payment of Life Points, two other purple flames on the Earthbound Immortal altar soon burned, really as if Rudger sacrificed his own life to the Earthbound Immortal as nourishment.

Everyone was shocked.

"In this way, the altar's counters directly reached four!" Jack said.

Akiza said: "But now the Field Spell has been destroyed, the Earthbound Immortal without a field..."

Rudger sneered: "Activate Spell Card 'Terraforming', you can add one Field Spell from the deck to your hand."

"I add the second Field Spell 'Spider Web' from the deck to my hand."

"Then activate!"

Spider Web was activated again, and the huge white web structure seemed to cover the entire field like a cage.

Yusei: "Everyone be careful, it's coming!"

The pressure of the Earthbound Immortal's descent is not only for the duelist, but also has a great impact on these outsiders who stand closer. Although several people have the protection of the Dragon Mark and will not have their souls drawn, the pressure facing the Earthbound Immortal is still huge.

Sure enough, the next moment Rudger raised his arm high, and the dark purple spider pattern on his hand seemed to be burning.

"Send the Continuous Trap 'Altar of the Earthbound Immortal' with four counters to the Graveyard, and Special Summon the God's descent from the deck!"

"Descend—"

"—Earthbound Immortal Uru!!!"
