Chapter 933: Passed Hope

"Rasca, Lord of Earthbound Immortals, attack Red Dragon Archfiend!"

Fujiki You Xuan's attack command was issued, and the Earthbound Immortal raised its heavy fist again. The heavy fist burning with blue fire was like a cannonball piercing through space, Red Dragon Archfiend's massive body was instantly pierced, leaving a shocking hole, and then it screamed and turned into ashes.

Of course, it was in Defense Position, so there was no battle damage.

Fujiki You Xuan narrowed his eyes: "Your tamashii is gone just like that, it seems you really have burned everything."

"No, it's not over yet!"

Jack roared.

"Even if I have burned everything, even if I have no cards to play, I can still pass on the hope!

Activate Set card, Trap Card 'Shadow Impulse'!"

Jack's Set card flipped over, and Red Dragon Archfiend, which had just been destroyed, hung in mid-air like a ghost under the action of this card.

"Shadow Impulse, when a Synchro Monster on my field is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard, I can select a Synchro Monster from the Extra Deck with the same Level and Type as the destroyed monster but a different name, and Special Summon it with 0 ATK and its effects negated!" (Original effect)

The physical version of this card is rarely stronger than the original anime version. In the anime, the monster summoned by this card had its effects negated and lost ATK, but the physical version deleted all these side effects, retaining ATK and effects.

Of course, from a modern perspective, Shadow Impulse must have a Synchro Monster destroyed to be activated, so its efficiency is not high. Plus, it limits the summoned monster to be the same Level and Type as the destroyed one, so it's not very strong itself, so there's no need to make extra restrictions.

Jack breathed heavily, looking like he had indeed used all his strength and was at the end of his rope.

"Yusei, this effect is entrusted to you." Jack said.

Yusei: "Jack..."

Jack: "Don't be hesitant anymore! My Deck has no cards, and there is no next turn. But if companions work together, even if I fall, this bond can pass on hope, right!?"

Yusei was silent for a few seconds, then took a deep breath, and his eyes became firm again.

"I understand. Then I accept the effect of 'Shadow Impulse' and Special Summon a monster from the Extra Deck with the same Level and Type as the destroyed Red Dragon Archfiend!"

Outside the field, Leo: "Red Dragon Archfiend is a Level 8 Dragon-Type, a monster with the same Type and Level is..."

Leo and Luna, the twins, looked at each other and cheered in unison: "Stardust Dragon!"

Sure enough, then they heard Yusei begin to chant: "The gathered wishes will turn into a new shining star, turn into a shining path of light! Synchro Summon!

Fly, Stardust Dragon!!!"

Boundless shining radiance, like a brilliant interstellar storm. Thousands of silver particles sprayed from the center of the Synchro halo, weaving into a path of starlight behind Yusei. The airflow turned into a galaxy-like vortex, the silver-white slender dragon body broke through the light, the scales refracted the radiance like a supernova explosion, and every vibration of the crystal dragon wings was accompanied by diamond dust-like stardust.

Of course, it was in Defense Position.

【Stardust Dragon, DEF 2000】

"I see, even if your own soul falls, you want to connect to Yusei's trump card Stardust Dragon, this is your bond and hope."

Fujiki You Xuan narrowed his eyes.

"And 'Savior Dragon' has already been printed in this duel, and it is sleeping in Jack's Graveyard right now. In Yusei's next turn, if Yusei revives Savior Dragon from the Graveyard, plus Stardust Dragon, he can immediately connect to 'Majestic Star Dragon', and have another chance to counter-kill... You guys planned it this way, right?"

The three: "..."

Majestic Star Dragon, also an incarnation of the Crimson Dragon, is the evolved form of Stardust Dragon after the Crimson Dragon shared its power with Yusei. Although it can only exist on the field for one turn like Majestic Red Dragon, it also has the power to instantly reverse the situation.

"The idea is good, but can Stardust Dragon really stay until that time?"

Fujiki You Xuan smiled lightly.

"I discard 'Rasca, Lord of Earthbound Immortals - Heaven's Ravaging Fist' from my hand, effect activate!

This turn, double the ATK of 'Rasca, Lord of Earthbound Immortals' on my field, and it can attack all monsters on the opponent's field once each!"

The Earthbound Immortal's extra power was released again, Rasca roared with momentum, and its whole body seemed to ignite with blue flames.

【Rasca, Lord of Earthbound Immortals, ATK 4000 → ATK 8000】

But everyone knew that the opponent's purpose this time was not to double the ATK, but the multiple attacks.

The opponent didn't intend to let them keep Stardust Dragon!

"Therefore, Rasca, Lord of Earthbound Immortals can attack continuously this turn," Fujiki You Xuan said. "Rasca, Lord of Earthbound Immortals, additional attack on 'Stardust Dragon'!"

A punch like a tsunami, the vast energy almost drowned Stardust.

Jack: "Yusei!"

"I know!"

Yusei shouted.

"The hope Jack entrusted to me will never be in vain!

Activate the effect of 'Shield Warrior' from the Graveyard!"

A small warrior holding a shield appeared from Yusei's Graveyard, blocking in front of Stardust Dragon in a squatting defensive posture. The vast Heaven's Ravaging Fist strike fell entirely on the warrior's shield. The warrior's body swayed, and the shield was shattered, but it still stubbornly blocked it.

Fujiki You Xuan: "The card sent to the Graveyard in the previous turn?"

"Correct, sent to the Graveyard through Jack's 'Card Destruction'," Yusei said. "When Shield Warrior is in the Graveyard, banish this card from the game, and I have one chance to prevent a monster on the field from being destroyed by battle!"

"Another power of bonds, blocked well," Fujiki You Xuan reminded. "However, before it's your turn, there's still Crow's turn.

Can your Stardust Dragon stay until then?"

Fujiki You Xuan smiled and waved to Set a card.

"Set a card, turn end."

Crow gritted his teeth: "Do you mean you think I'm the one holding back? Don't look down on people!

My turn, draw!"

"I also activate a Spell Card 'Card of Adversity'. If the opponent has a Special Summoned monster and I have no monsters on my field, draw two cards!"

Crow inserted three cards into the Duel Disk directly.

"Then Set three cards, turn end!"

"Only Set cards..."

Fujiki You Xuan pondered for a moment and said.

"My turn, draw."

"At this moment!"

Crow activated the Set card directly.

"Trap Card 'Hegemon's Monopoly'!

This card can only be activated during the opponent's Standby Phase. This turn, the opponent cannot enter the Battle Phase!"

The trap activated, and a transparent wave like a sound wave was released from the field, sweeping across Fujiki You Xuan's field, as if an invisible ban had been cast.

"Sure enough, a card mainly for defense?"

Fujiki You Xuan smiled lightly.

"Everyone working together, meaning they have all entrusted their hope to Yusei?"
