Chapter 122: On Launch Day

First, I'll put what everyone wants to see right at the top.

Tomorrow, on launch day, I'll drop ten chapters in one go.

The author is furiously drafting right now, but to make sure the quality holds, I might not be able to finish and post them all at once today — but tomorrow, ten full chapters will definitely be up.

After launch, updates will switch to 8,000 words a day, split into two chapters, and any extra chapters from the Jiagengdou Society will be added on top of that daily 8,000.

Rules for extra chapters.

Five hundred monthly tickets = one extra chapter.

Last month I owed one chapter for the six hundred-plus tickets, and this month I'm currently three chapters in the red, so that's four chapters total owed.

As for tips:

A Sect Leader tip earns an extra ten thousand characters; a Silver Sect Leader tip earns twenty extra chapters (3–4k per chapter).

Though I have a feeling there won't actually be any esteemed readers tipping, but there it is.

Honestly, when I started this book I never imagined it would do so well, because this is only my second book.

Who would have thought I'd clear every recommendation during the new-book period — recommendations like the Sanjiang Little Loudspeaker, I wouldn't have dared dream of them before I started writing.

Once again, I kowtow to all the esteemed readers who've been following along, or2.

I'm sure some readers are wondering why I opened a new account — did I abandon my last book?

Actually, no — when this book started, the previous one was just wrapping up, and I opened the new account just to make it easier to run both at the same time (Little Bear shrugs).

Of course, doing too well brings its own headaches; lately I've been anxious every day, terrified of writing a flop, but luckily, judging by the data, the current plot trajectory still looks normal?

Of course I know that for a novel of the Infinite Heavens variety, skipping arcs is unavoidable — all I can do is promise to write every single arc with care.

Take the Dragon Clan arc, for example — some esteemed readers felt it wasn't great and dragged on too long (probably partly because updates were sparse during the new-book period), but other esteemed readers were fine with it.

I don't think anyone can stand to see their favorite arc end in a rush (unless something genuinely goes wrong), so I'll do my best to look after every single esteemed reader.
