Chapter 58: Main God Space: Someone Stole My Idea? (Mist)
Li Ang glanced at the book in his hand, then at Lei Mengde, who was still unconscious.
To be honest, at first he had assumed the other was a profession like Mechanic—who would have thought it would actually be Alchemy, especially since that combat-powerful mining robot from earlier had been so easy to misread.
Not bothering with such trivial details, Li Ang operated his wristband to record the contents of the book.
He had no intention of hiding the book. First, he had nowhere on him to stash it; second, who knew whether Lei Mengde, upon waking and finding the book missing, would report it to the Security Bureau.
There wasn't much content in the book; Li Ang quickly used his wristband to photograph and save all of it.
At that moment, Dannika had finished scouting the abandoned buildings in the mine and walked back.
She saw the book in Li Ang's hand and couldn't help raising an eyebrow: "What's this? Loot?"
Hearing this, Li Ang closed the book in his hand and waved it: "Dropped by that 【Artisan】 in the car. I flipped through it—seems related to Alchemy."
"Alchemy?" Dannika's expression instantly turned strange.
She took the "Introduction to Alchemy Explained" Li Ang handed her, flipped through it casually, then raised her head with an odd look: "Looks like we're about to get rich. The Federation is willing to pay money for books like this."
". The premise is that they haven't been logged into the system."
Dannika didn't mention keeping the book—after all, in her view, both she and Li Ang were already Professionals, and they clearly had no use for an item that was obviously meant for another profession.
Of course, research-related skills like Alchemy and Mechanics could still be learned even without the corresponding profession; it just came down to pure personal talent.
Except for Li Ang.
After a brief moment of thought, Dannika said: "If the Federation is willing to take it back, the money has to be split three ways."
"You, me, and the Bureau Chief each get a share. No objections, right?"
Li Ang, of course, had no objections—in fact, he reckoned he was getting the better deal.
After all, it was Dannika who had taken on Lei Mengde in the first place, and Ma Kusi was the one who dealt with that mining robot afterward.
All he had really done was seize Lei Mengde at the end when the man had no ability to defend himself.
Overall rating 3.0—he was a carry-by-lay-down dog.
