Chapter 451: The Content of the Transaction
Facing the brand-new form of Cross-Z after unlocking the Fullbottle, and the magnificent, high-spirited Great Dragon, Evolt felt no fear; instead, he erupted into an unusually hearty laugh.
"Finally, I've waited for this!" He reached out with one hand and then gripped it tightly.
A terrifying thing happened. On the Great Dragon belt, the dragon-shaped accessory originally used for the adapter suddenly began to emit red light, and wisps of stray red lightning appeared all over his body. Draco couldn't help but let out a painful roar. Then, his armor disassembled, all the energy converged toward the belt, and the adapter seat holding the energy bottle flew out abruptly, landing steadily in Evolt's hand.
"Why?" Draco collapsed to the ground. "Why can you control the Dragon Bottle?"
Evolt did not answer, only continuing to laugh wildly.
However, as his power was drained away, Draco's intelligence seemed to gradually return. He suddenly thought of a possibility, and then angrily questioned, "It was you, wasn't it? The person who sent me the energy bottle was you! What exactly is your purpose?"
"Purpose, well, you can guess it even if I don't say it." Evolt shook the accessory in his hand. "I need someone to help me evolve the power of Cross-Z, and you happen to be the most suitable candidate."
"First, you like dragons very much, and your name is also Dragon; the Dragon Bottle and you will be a perfect match. Second, you hang around Harry Potter, making it very easy for you to participate in various battles and keep growing." Evolt laughed again. "Finally, you have plenty of experience playing the clown, hahahahaha!"
Draco clenched his fists in anger, but he had no combat ability left at this moment. Both his magic and physical strength had been drained, and he could only glare at Evolt.
"Draco became stupid after getting the Jelly Dragon; what was that about?" Pan Xi asked while supporting Draco, wanting to stall for a little more time.
"The Gel Bottle is just like that; it makes people reckless and combative," Evolt explained tirelessly. "After all, this disappointing child is always unwilling to fight. If that were the case, how could Cross-Z's evolution be pushed forward?"
"Alright, no need to stall for time anymore. Now there will be no one to obstruct... Oh, you arrived quite quickly." As Evolt cast his gaze toward the entrance hall, he naturally saw Luo En, who was already poised for action.
"Book and Book! Omnibus!"
"Are you Ready? Omni Force, Solomon!"
A knight completely different from the initial Saber form appeared. He wielded a huge spiral sword and was clad in magnificent armor interwoven with gold and silver. Every part of the armor was decorated with complex runes and patterns, giving a sense of holiness and majesty.
Evolt shifted his feet back and forth, eager to try. But just as he was about to charge forward, Solomon held the spiral sword with both hands and tapped the hilt lightly against his waist. A ripple spread rapidly, and a strange feeling welled up in everyone's heart.
Immediately after, Solomon lightly swung the two-handed sword, and a golden energy wave appeared instantly. In a flash, it struck Evolt, who was still in a daze, and the huge explosion impact knocked him directly to the ground.
"Cough, cough! Decade, aren't you coming out yet?" Evolt shouted from the ground.
On one side of the lawn, that familiar magenta figure arrived as promised. Decade had already transformed into Complete Form in advance, carrying his long sword as he slowly stepped onto the battlefield.
"Our transaction." Decade only said this one sentence.
"I already understand," Evolt propped up one leg, sitting half-upright on the ground. "The Malfoy family, and some other small families that were once Death Eaters, are gathered here researching soul magic. Right now, those people are frantically organizing and transferring data in the basement of the manor. If we go late, we really won't get anything to eat."
"What are they researching?" Decade seemed not to understand, turning his head to ask in a muffled voice.
"Spells that use souls as casting materials to directly attack the enemy's soul," Evolt said, shaking his head. "Or, to put it simply, just three words: Dark Soul Magic. Reporting it like that is enough to finish the job."
Decade shrugged, then pulled a diary out of nowhere and threw it to Evolt, saying very casually, "Do you want me to help?"
"You're not charging in?" Evolt asked in return.
"You already said it's enough to finish the job, so I'm too lazy to fight." Decade crossed his arms and then stood even further away.
"Then, let me try the fourth stage." Evolt stood up, and wisps of black mist surged out of the diary, drilling into the energy bottle at his waist.
"Black Hole!"
At this moment, Evolt reached his complete form. An overwhelming sense of power radiated from him. That pitch-black face seemed to absorb all light, the sharp faceplate like snake fangs revealed a sinister expression, the magnificent shoulder armor resembled a quasar, and a skirt symbolizing the strong fluttered—an irresistible sense of fear rushed toward them.
Zhang Qiu's hands were shaking, and her voice trembled too. "Can we win?"
Harry didn't know why Evolt's fourth stage jumped directly from animals like snake, rabbit, and dragon to a black hole, and the concept of a black hole alone made people feel desperate just thinking about it.
Luo En unleashed a sword energy as cover, then immediately pulled out his accessory to transform again.
"Saber and Saber! Xross Saber!"
"Are you Ready? Saber Unsheathed!"
This time, he seemed to have returned to the appearance of Saber, but the armor no longer distinguished colors; in its place was a whole expanse of shimmering starry sky, and the sword in his hand also flickered with light. The head armor raised a peak like flames, and a skirt fluttered at his waist as well. At this moment, Saber might not be the strongest, but he was undoubtedly the coolest.
When Harry watched the battle between Xross Saber and Black Hole, he felt as if everything had returned to the era of wizards. They each unleashed astonishing shockwaves, sometimes dodging, sometimes parrying; all of this was almost no different from a wizard duel.
Draco, supported by Pan Xi, retreated under Snape's protection. His face wore a lingering sadness, and he looked toward the battlefield ahead with some envy.
Decade stood by without saying a word, and Zhang Qiu was not in a hurry to transform either, but more importantly, she seemed to have a deep fear of Evolt in Black Hole form, and her legs even began to tremble. Harry held her arm and whispered, "We have to have confidence in Luo En."
"Saber can at most tie, and then persuade him to retreat." Zhang Qiu shook her head.
Sure enough, as the battle became more intense, the two began to move rapidly across the lawn, the sound of blade clashing against blade was endless, and every clash sparked a large number of light spots. And when they separated again, Saber had already begun to pant, while Evolt remained at ease.
Just at this moment, a burst of hurried footsteps came. Seven or eight wizards in black robes stood with Lu Xiusi at the edge of the entrance hall, and Narcissa replaced Pan Xi to hold her son.
"Let me try, Severus." Lu Xiusi revealed a strange smile.
"I am not stopping you, just be careful not to hurt friendly forces," Snape said in a low voice.
Lu Xiusi tapped his temple lightly with his wand, pulling out a strand of memory thread shining with silver light, as if he were about to put it in a bottle or a Pensieve the next moment. But he didn't; he used his wand to pick up this strand of thread and shook it lightly, and the thread almost balled up at the tip of his wand.
He swung his wand abruptly, and the balled-up thread was immediately flung out, flying toward Evolt at the speed of an ordinary spell. Harry thought Evolt would block it or throw out a shockwave to neutralize it, but he didn't expect him to run to one side as if facing a formidable enemy. However, this pale silver ball of light slowly turned a corner in the air and still headed toward Evolt.
Seeing that the ball of light was about to hit Evolt, he suddenly lunged forward and rolled on the ground without any image, finally avoiding the spell narrowly. The ball of light hit the lawn and disappeared.
"Very good, we'll meet again!" Evolt left a harsh remark with dissatisfaction, then left without looking back. Seeing him run away, Decade also disappeared and left.
Harry stared wide-eyed at Snape and Lu Xiusi, and he asked with some pleasant surprise, "We, succeeded? We developed a spell sufficient to threaten Kamen Riders, to the point that Evolt had to avoid its edge?"
"Not entirely successful, the price of this spell is too great," Snape said. "You need to use your own memories as ammunition, but how many memories can you afford to discard?"
Lu Xiusi rubbed his temples slowly and said in a low voice, "It's enough. As long as the Riders don't dare to act recklessly, that will do."
"If Evolt were hit, what would happen?" Harry asked.
"Nothing much, at most he would be dazed for a moment. Unless he is hit multiple times by multiple soul arrows in a short period, in that case, he would fall into a coma," Snape sighed. "If it weren't for a Saber who is evenly matched with him by his side, he might not necessarily fear soul arrows."
Lu Xiusi pointed to the few wizards beside him, then squeezed out a smile. "If we all strike together, perhaps we could also force him back."
Snape had no heart to argue with him, only placing his hand on Luo En, who had just returned. "We are going back to school first. You can repair the lawn yourself slowly."
Without bothering with Lu Xiusi, who was staring blankly at the lawn, the few of them returned to school through the fireplace, and Snape signaled that the students could leave.
Harry was not prepared to leave; he wanted to ask clearly, but Snape did not give him this opportunity, only whispering "This is not the end" as he pushed him out the door.
Standing in the corridor on the eighth floor, the moods of the three people seemed a bit low. Harry took the initiative to put his arm around Luo En's neck, intending to ask about his new form, but Zhang Qiu stretched out both hands and placed them on their shoulders.
"It's time, we need to go retrieve Harry's other half of power," she said softly. "Let's find a quiet place and deploy a strategy." ===== CHAPTER 452 =====
