Chapter 737

Of course, Yu Mo had no interest in the awards ceremony.

Because of the previous Hollywood awards ceremony, *Avengers 4* had already become the most popular commercial film of the year!

He himself had also become the most influential up-and-coming director of the year!

But even so, he hadn't gone, let alone to a Huabiao Award!

……

But it was different for the others.

*A Foolish Move* was still waiting for this awards ceremony to find some promotional heat!

Plus, there were others who were winning awards.

For example, Tong Liya, who arrived fashionably late at this moment, wearing a white low-cut evening gown—what a charming stunner she was!

At this moment, she was feeling a bit nervous!

Because this time, she had received a nomination for Best Supporting Actress!

But whether she would be selected was still a suspense!

……

"Relax!" But beside her, Yu Mo, seeing the nervous-looking Tong Liya, was very calm and said nonchalantly, "This award is yours for the taking, unless there's some shady business!"

"I'll take your kind words!"

Tong Liya, upon hearing this, revealed a charming smile and chuckled.

Of course, deep down, she was still a little nervous!

……

However, the women in the back rows, Yang Mi, Reba, Zhao Liying, and others, were relatively calm.

Why?

Because they were just here to watch the show!

It was completely irrelevant to them!

Just watching the gossip and the excitement!

So, of course, they were calm!

……

But even so, with these women sitting together, plus the *A Foolish Move* film crew, it was simply too eye-catching.

It drew quite a bit of discussion from netizens in the live stream!

Even the big screen camera frequently appeared on this side!

No way around it, who told them to be so beautiful.

……

And very soon, the awards ceremony began.

The Huabiao Awards established a total of eleven categories.

They were Best Film, Best Director, Best Actor and Actress, Best Screenplay, Best Cinematography, Best Sound Effects, Best Art Design, Best Costume Design, Best Music, Best Editing, and Best Newcomer!

Besides the above, there were also Best Supporting Actor and Actress!

And some other jury awards!

……

And the winner of Best Film, needless to say, was Director Chen Kaige's *The Battle at Lake Changjin*.

As a patriotic-themed film, and with the Huabiao Awards being hosted by the Film Bureau, it went without saying that this was also without suspense!

So this film took home the Best Feature Film award!

……

Regarding this, Yu Mo was not surprised at all, because he had already known about it in his past life!

And waiting for the second award, Best Director.

It was still Chen Kaige!

……

One saw Chen Kaige in a Zhongshan suit, going up to receive the award, holding the trophy, and also saying a few perfunctory acceptance remarks.

No way around it, as a big-shot director in the country.

For this kind of award, as long as he participated, there was never a time he was just there to make up the numbers.

So he was very calm!

But towards this, Yu Mo scoffed.

Pfft, a society based on personal connections!

……

And when it came to Best Actor and Actress, it was Zhang Ze and Ren Suxi from *My People, My Country*!

Regarding these two, everyone also felt there was no suspense.

Because Zhang Ze had been a runner-up so many times, and his performance this time was quite good, so naturally, he had to be given an award.

As for Ren Suxi!

Although not very famous, to be honest, her acting skills were very decent.

Especially since she had previously participated in that comedy film *Make It Big, Create New Brilliance*!
