Chapter 633: Lian Po retreats, Zhao Zhu goes out, Changping has become a discarded city!

The Qin army strengthened its attack on the southern city wall, and the Zhao army retreated steadily, soon falling into a decline.

"No, if this continues, we won't be able to hold on for long." Looking at the overwhelming arrows coming from outside the city, Zhao Zhu's brows furrowed tighter and tighter.

Even if the laborers in the city helped repair the city wall, the Qin army's arrows were simply too many; every wave of arrows had hundreds flying over. Even shield soldiers couldn't hold up!

Moreover, shield soldiers were also human, not made of iron. If this continued, they would sooner or later be unable to hold on.

Having figured this out, Zhao Zhu sighed and made up his mind, "Pass the order: all soldiers are to climb the city tower and fight the enemy to the death!"

"Yes!"

With this order issued, all the soldiers picked up their weapons and walked to the city tower, waiting for one last stand.

At this moment, their hearts were filled with despair. ===== CHAPTER 635 =====
