Chapter 1791

~7 min read 1,232 words

Kesi Dilin squinted his eyes: "I didn't expect them to strike at this moment; it seems I underestimated their patience and overestimated my own strength."

Adabayo laughed heartily: "Yeah, how do you think we found you?"

Kesi Dilin said nothing, turning his face away.

On the yacht's deck, several tongues of flame intertwined and erupted!

Gesilin gritted her teeth: "These bastards are truly treacherous and cunning—impossible to guard against. They must have planned this in advance! They predicted we'd board this ship long ago!"

"Hmm." Kesi Dilin frowned deeply: "If the enemy set this trap long ago, we're unlikely to escape unscathed."

He looked at Ximen Wudi: "What will you do?"

"He's useless." Adabayo raised his dagger and plunged it deep into Ximen Wudi's left thigh!

Ximen Wudi let out a muffled groan of pain!

Then, the man lifted his elbow and smashed it into Ximen Wudi's cervical vertebrae!

Boom!

Accompanied by the sound of bone cracking!

Ximen Wudi passed out!

Seeing this, Kesi Dilin seized Ximen Wudi and said to Adabayo: "Bandage his wound! I'm taking him away!"

"Heh, do you really think you can walk out with him?" Adabayo sneered coldly: "Do you think all my men jumped overboard with you?"

He knelt beside Ximen Wudi, one hand gripping the blade, the other clutching Ximen Wudi's shoulder: "Such a beautiful Miss—let me have her!"

Kesi Dilin swung his fist without hesitation!

Adabayo raised his arm to block!

Kesi Dilin's attack was stopped, but Adabayo showed no sign of injury; he grinned, revealing sharp fangs, and lunged again!

"Get lost!" Kesi Dilin roared!

He had unleashed every ounce of strength, determined to kill this pervert who coveted his sister—but the man's strength surpassed his wildest expectations!

Even with a physique and combat skill beyond the norm, Kesi Dilin was powerless now!

Adabayo was dead set on this—he'd endure any wound just to taste Gesilin!

His eyes gleamed with intensity; he knew he only needed to hold out for half a minute—his team would arrive on this cruise ship, and then he'd seize Gesilin!

"You bastard!" Kesi Dilin, enraged, unleashed a flurry of punches!

But after absorbing the blows, Adabayo didn't retreat—he surged forward, slamming a fist into Kesi Dilin's chest!

The latter felt searing pain in his ribs!

Then, like a monkey snatching a peach, the man twisted his waist and drove his knee hard into Kesi Dilin's abdomen!

Kesi Dilin was thrown onto the deck, spitting a mouthful of blood!

"Adabayo, you should be grateful you met me tonight," Kesi Dilin gasped, wiping blood from his lips.

"Heh, Kesi Dilin, I admit you're strong—but you still won't escape alive! I've waited too long for this day!" With that, Adabayo swung both arms and charged again!

This guy was a shameless mad dog!

No matter what, just hit first!

Kesi Dilin struggled to his feet, preparing to fight.

But then, a gunshot rang out suddenly!

Boom!

A bullet tore through the night sky and pierced Adabayo's right calf!

Having just fought Kesi Dilin fiercely, he had no time to dodge—the bullet tore through his calf muscle, throwing him off balance and slamming him onto the deck!

"Damn it! That's… a sniper rifle!"

Adabayo clutched his calf, pain nearly knocking him unconscious!

"This isn't an ordinary sniper rifle! Who are you!" Adabayo screamed through the pain!

The bullet had struck his calf nerve dead center!

"You don't need to know the answer."

At that moment, two figures leapt over the railing; one in a black suit raised an assault rifle and fired at Adabayo!

Pop! Pop! Pop! Pop!

Four rounds struck Adabayo's legs in succession; he howled in agony!

At this point, he no longer cared to attack Kesi Dilin—he scrambled toward the cabin!

But the black-clad man didn't stop pursuing—he smashed the rifle butt into Adabayo's head, drenching it in blood!

Had the black-clad man not feared killing Adabayo, the latter's skull would've been crushed to pulp!

"Stop! Don't hit him anymore!" Kesi Dilin shouted: "Keep him alive!"

"Oh?" The black-clad man tossed the assault rifle onto the railing, drew his waist knife, and kicked Adabayo hard in the buttocks!

Adabayo tumbled forward, crashing into the cabin doorframe!

Kesi Dilin stared at the assault rifle: "What does this mean?"

The black-clad man said: "I am a warrior sworn to guard Atlantis's honor. Such weapons cannot fall into foreign hands."

His tone was calm, yet brimming with lethal intent.

Before he finished speaking, a row of rocket tubes emerged from the cabin!

It turned out the cruise ship was armed with rocket launchers!

A shell had already flown over the sea and exploded in a burst of fire!

The explosion sent up waves five or six meters high, slamming both shield-bearing bodyguards and sending them flying!

Of course, though they were shaken to the point of coughing up blood, they did not die.

The cannonier's target had been Adebayo — they had merely suffered the misfortune of the pond fish!

Kesi Dilin's eyes narrowed slightly, then relaxed again: "Thank you."

"Don't mention it," the man in black said.

At this moment, Adebayo was already lying in a cabin room, and the pirates had rushed up, hoisted him, and were swiftly retreating toward the shoreline!

As for the man in black, he was still leaning back against the railing, gazing out at the dark, boundless sea, shaking his head, then pulling a bottle of vodka from his coat and gulping it down.

Kesi Dilin climbed up from the ground, looked at the two bodyguards whose lungs had been shaken: "Help get them to a hospital. Leave the rest to me."

"Yes! Young Master!"

The two bodyguards struggled up from the deck, dragged their companion along, and quickly vanished into the vast night.

"What are you doing! Let me go! Let me go!" Adebayo shouted.

Kesi Dilin slowly drew his long sword, fixed his gaze on Adebayo, his eyes gradually narrowing: "Adebayo, you really have some nerve. You dare come kidnap me — are you really not afraid of death?"

"Of course I'm afraid of death, but I want revenge even more! Kesi Dilin, you're at your wit's end now! I'm going to slit your throat and rip out your kidneys to feed the sharks!" Adebayo shouted.

"I had thought you a steady, scheming opponent. I never expected you to be so utterly stupid," Kesi Dilin said. "You think that, alone, you can hold off the two of us?"

Adebayo sneered: "Heh, I'm not alone. On this ship, we have our entire mercenary corps!"

Hearing this, Kesi Dilin's brow furrowed slightly.

A dangerous glint flashed in his eyes. Then Kesi Dilin turned his head toward the distant yacht: "What's going on over there?"

In Kesi Dilin's view, since Adebayo dared to leap alone into the open sea to attack him, he should have long since made the relevant preparations — after all, the mercenaries on this ship would certainly not be fewer than their own number.

Yet on that yacht, apart from the lights, all was silent.

"They're not here, but…" Kesi Dilin said, raising his left hand and holding up one finger.

A man in black stepped up before Kesi Dilin: "Young Master Kesi Dilin, your orders."

Kesi Dilin looked at the silent yacht in the distance and said: "Take me to find them."

"As you command."

1720 stood by and did nothing.
