Chapter 280

Time quickly came to the next day.

Entering the semi-finals means that this Masters Tournament is about to come to an end.

Among the four contestants who advanced, they were either Elite Four or Champions, and even Raihan, who has always been known as the "strongest Gym Leader," stopped at the quarter-finals.

The strong strength of the contestants also made the audience look forward to the next two dragon-and-tiger fights even more.

The first match today was still Cynthia taking the lead, facing Paldea's Dragon-type Elite Four Hassel, who had strongly crushed Clair yesterday.

(Forgot to put the picture last time, adding one)

After sending Cynthia into the player tunnel, when Qingyu came to the spectator stands, the surroundings were already full.

As the number one major sport in this world, the popularity of Pokémon battles is evident.

It's even estimated that a large group of viewers are waiting in his livestream room now, most of whom can only choose to watch online because the journey is too far.

Since some contestants had already been eliminated, Qingyu could even see Clair's figure beside Cattleya.

Perhaps because of the crushing defeat in the quarter-finals, Clair looked clearly listless today.

However, Qingyu wasn't very familiar with Clair, so he didn't intend to go up and comfort her.

Any competitive match is like this; even if the desire to win on both sides is maximized, there will only be one winner in the end.

As a trainer, it's naturally impossible never to fail, not to mention that it's not strange for Clair to lose to an Elite Four.

Perhaps after losing a few more times in the future, she will be able to learn to adjust her mentality.

After all, her idol, that genius of the Dragon Tamer clan, was also gradually smoothed out in the fighting of the Elite Four...

After nodding to her and Cattleya as a greeting, Qingyu quickly started his main quest—

Livestream the Masters Tournament!

Having already livestreamed once yesterday, the online viewers who knew that today's and tomorrow's matches would definitely be more exciting waited early in the livestream room.

As the scene of the Masters Tournament appeared on the screen, countless viewers cheered and jumped for joy instantly.

【Hurry hurry hurry, I'm the Wings of Urgency, why hasn't the match started yet?】

【Great! In the semi-finals, I can see Miss Cynthia, who has both strength and beauty, again!】

【Who does the streamer favor today?】

"Should be soon, the contestants have all gone to the backstage just now."

"As for who I favor today... A ten-year old fan of Cynthia has arrived uninvited!"

Because the match hadn't started yet, Qingyu had time to interact with the comments a little.

Whether looking at strength or friendship, he obviously favored Cynthia more for this battle, and the reason was also very simple—

Because he also guest-starred as Cynthia's coach, and last night he had already helped her analyze the Pokémon that Hassel might use.

"Elite Four Hassel's strength is definitely not bad, but it's still a bit difficult to win like yesterday."

"As everyone knows, our Sinnoh Champion Cynthia's ace is Garchomp; although Duraludon's defensive ability is strong, it's still not enough in front of Garchomp's piercing ability."

As soon as Qingyu said this, Clair on the side frowned immediately.

As a victim of the previous battle, she could also feel the importance of type combinations in this Masters Tournament.

If only she had a Flygon, maybe she could have gnawed down this Duraludon...

Unless, like her cousin Lance, he used two Dragonites to make the opponent guess the tactics, it might be possible to compensate for some of the disadvantages brought by the attributes.

If she could have realized this point earlier...

No, losing is losing.

Clair sighed and waited silently for the upcoming battle.

As for the viewers in the livestream room, their focus was not on Qingyu's pre-match analysis at all, but...
