Chapter 36: You Are Not Allowed to Play Pokémon! Chapter 17

So her gift should be a pricey Rotom Phone...

Wait, why does it feel like everyone I come into contact with is a rich woman?

Is this normal?

Suppressing the urge to complain internally, Qing Yu took the gift from Nemona, and at the same time, another question arose in his heart.

Since he had accepted the gift, what should he give in return?

This question didn't actually need him to think about it, because Nemona, who had a "Quirky" nature, had already arranged it clearly for him.

While speaking, her gaze had already passed Qing Yu, and after a simple observation of the furnishings in the room, she quickly looked at Qing Yu again.

Sure enough, the neighbors were right; this is a Gym that hasn't opened for a long time.

Her sparkling star-shaped eyes were full of anticipation.

"So that's it, Mr. Qing Yu, you are a Gym Leader, right!"

"Then, as a return gift for the housewarming present, I should be able to challenge the Gym, right!"

Challenge the Gym?

Qing Yu raised an eyebrow.

Were the signs of Nemona's battle-maniac attribute already so early?

If it were yesterday, he would have rejected it without a second thought.

But now...

The four TM moves he chose for Eevee weren't randomly matched; just relying on the two moves it had learned so far, it might already have a certain amount of combat power.

Nemona at this time should have just received her starter Pokémon; as the first challenger, the strength should be just right?

The illustration and cover are from the same series; I quite like this author's style, but I couldn't find the author, what a pity... ===== CHAPTER 38 =====
