Chapter 161: You Are Not Allowed to Play Pokémon! Chapter 74

But because these records were too bizarre, the vast majority of people only regarded them as ghost stories.

Only those two super-fans regarded them as treasures, heading to Area Zero to explore based on the content of the books, and even leaving behind precious handwritten copies.

"Mr. Qingyu, I need to go home first to see if I can find any notes on treating the injuries of my Mabosstiff!"

After saying goodbye to Xiang Qingyu, Arven immediately trotted back to the Lighthouse Laboratory in a great hurry.

Watching him leave, Qingyu sighed silently.

Sure enough, in the end, he still couldn't escape triggering the main quest.

Or rather, from the moment he saw Miraidon, Qingyu had roughly guessed the development of events to come.

The main storyline of "Scarlet/Violet" is different from previous works; besides the exploration being very free, there are three different main storylines that players need to advance simultaneously during the first playthrough.

The "Victory Road," where one challenges Gyms to obtain eight badges and earn the chance to challenge the Elite Four and the Champion;

The "Starfall Street," where one accepts a mysterious person's commission to defeat and disband the delinquent student group, Team Star;

And...

The "Path of Legends," where one embarks on a journey to find Herba Mystica to treat Arven's Mabosstiff's injuries and reignite Miraidon's power.

Just as Qingyu was lamenting whether his protagonist treatment was legitimate, the system, which had been quiet for a few days, appeared before his eyes.

【Returning to 18, you, who have already stepped onto the right track as a Gym Leader, have begun your own performance.】

【But at the same time, another problem that has plagued you for two lifetimes has also surfaced—】

【What exactly happened in Area Zero back then that led to it being sealed for two years, only to have the mess cleaned up by a young Champion two years later?】

【And if you want to enter Area Zero, besides having sufficient strength, more clues might be hidden on that Pokémon that shouldn't exist in the current world line.】

【Main quest "Path of Legends" has been updated.】

【Current quest: Collect Herba Mystica and awaken Miraidon's full-power form. (Current progress 0/5)】

【Reward: Random Gold Item *1 (5 times total), "Pokémon Canteen Cooking Secret · A Simple Cooking Guide Anyone Can Learn!" (Automatically issued after completing the quest)】

"Hiss—"

Qingyu suddenly realized that he really had to take this job.

The items didn't matter.

If he had the secret manual from the Pokémon Canteen, his cooking level might still have room for rescue! ===== CHAPTER 163 =====
