Chapter 318: I really want to be Senior Purple's

With Togekiss as the core, plus Talonflame and a few other Pokémon (Dudunsparce, Indeedee, Dedenne, Ambipom) as substitutes, a team was quickly built.

"Our main force today is Togekiss, mainly designed around the Serene Grace ability."

After Xiang Qingyu finished speaking, he clicked directly into the ladder double queue.

"When talking about the tactics of Blissey and Dudunsparce before, I also talked about the usage of this ability several times. In fact, there is nothing to say."

"So let's go directly to actual combat!"

The effect of the Serene Grace ability is to double the trigger probability of the additional effects of moves, so it is excellent when matched with some powerful moves.

For example, if you are chasing dreams, you can bet on Ancient Power to stimulate the potential of Pokémon and greatly improve its comprehensive strength.

More common is to use damage-type moves to cause various abnormal states.

And there is one of the most important state changes today—

Flinch!

【Are you there? Streamer, why don't you bring Blissey? Is it because you are afraid that the name "Pink Devil" will be more deeply rooted in the hearts of the people?】

【Who would have thought that the angel-like Blissey has now become a representative of quality tactics...】

【It's all Teacher Yu's fault; you've done all the bad things!】

【Hardworking Nurse Joy: Don't talk nonsense. Since Teacher Yu taught the Minimize tactic, the Pokémon Centers in the Paldea region have been much more peaceful now~】

【Pewter City's Nurse Joy: Support Teacher Yu in continuing to popularize the tactics that Blissey can also learn!】

"Why not use Blissey?"

While waiting for matching, Xiang Qingyu quickly noticed the Nurse Joys appearing in the comments.

His viewers really are all kinds of people. Could it be that there are actually quite a few Officer Jennys too?

"Blissey's speed is too slow, and this set of tactics doesn't quite match Blissey."

"Of course, in actual combat, it can also be combined with the Minimize tactic. The specifics depend on your comprehension!"

Among all state changes, flinch is considered the most common. As long as the Pokémon hit by the attack falls into a flinch state, it will temporarily interrupt its move usage because of fear.

Just looking at the description, you know that there is a prerequisite for wanting the opponent to flinch—

Your Pokémon must be faster than the opponent to interrupt it before the opponent's move is used.

This is also the main reason why Xiang Qingyu didn't choose Serene Grace Rock Slide as the main tactic when introducing Blissey.

Blissey's speed is really too slow. Unless you open Trick Room, it is almost impossible to move first with Rock Slide.

And among Pokémon with the Serene Grace ability, except for a few Mythical Pokémon whose Pokédex is currently almost blank (Shaymin, Jirachi), the small airplane should be considered the most capable.

Although Sawsbuck, which also has the Serene Grace ability, is better in speed, it can neither learn Rock Slide nor Air Slash.

Therefore, Xiang Qingyu would rather choose Dudunsparce as a substitute.

While he continued to interact with the comments, the first opponent today was quickly matched successfully.

After five seconds, the opponent's trainer card popped up, and the image and lineup instantly made Xiang Qingyu vibrate—

Wearing a light pink coat, even the hair is cute pink; the hair clips on the ears are shining in the light;

Standing in place with hands tilted forward, the iconic crossed-hands action looks cute.

Trainer ID: I don't think this is good!

Xiang Qingyu's brow raised, and a name blurted out in his heart:

Go, Senior Purple is really cute!

Unova region, Driftveil City.

As a region isolated on a continent, far away from other regions, the time difference between Unova and Sinnoh is a full thirteen hours.

Therefore, when it was already night on Xiang Qingyu's side, Driftveil City was still a sleepy morning.

"Haa—"

The pink-haired girl with squinting eyes and a sleepy look walked out of the bedroom.

"Dad, isn't breakfast ready yet?"

After looking around, Purple didn't find the mature and reliable middle-aged man's figure and was stunned in place.

Later, she suddenly recalled—

Because of her father's work, it seemed that she would be the only one at home for the entire holiday.

Purple's father is Clay, the respected Gym Leader of Driftveil City. While serving as a Gym Leader, he also takes care of most of the regional development work of the Unova League.

For example, the development plan of Reversal Mountain, and the Blueberry Academy, which was determined to be established in recent years and built together with the resource development factory operating on the seabed.

As the largest project in the Unova region in the past decade, it took a lot of effort just to develop and fill that huge ecological dome.

So this time, her father Clay also had to complete the final work during the holiday.

"So boring..."

After washing up and simply solving breakfast, Purple lay on the sofa with a sleepy face and began to browse PokéTV.

Except for a part of short videos about Pokémon, everything else was related to Blueberry Academy.

The power of big data is too powerful, as if it knew she was going to enroll in Blueberry Academy after the year, and frantically pushed related content to her.

Purple complained while opening a few with higher playback volume.

Although at the beginning of the school's establishment, Blueberry Academy and Naranja Academy in the Paldea region called each other "sister schools," their philosophies are actually very different.

Naranja Academy encourages students to explore outside, and the Victory Road in the entire region is mainly served for these students.

And Blueberry Academy directly built the school into an independent ecological cabin, allowing students to try to catch Pokémon in various areas,

and even established a league system independent of the Unova League within the school.

That is, the Blueberry League.

If she enrolls, it seems she can also try to challenge the ranking in the school.

However...

It seems the rules of the Blueberry League are double battles?

Thinking of this, Purple quickly got up and returned to the bedroom to turn on the computer.

Double battle is a relatively niche rule, completely different from the single battle rules specified by most competitions.

Therefore, it requires a certain amount of practice to get started.

Anyway, she is alone at home, so it is better to try double battles in the game.

As the daughter of a Gym Leader, Purple has a little talent in breeding Pokémon and battling, and especially likes cute Pokémon.

Therefore, the lineup she chose also takes cuteness as the first priority, and strength or something doesn't matter at all.

As long as the bond with the Pokémon is enough, any opponent can have a battle!

With such an idea, Purple began her ranking journey.

And soon, her opponent appeared before her eyes.

Trainer ID: Azure Feather.

"???"

Purple was instantly dumbfounded.

As a fan of Teacher Yu who often brushes PokéTV, how could she not know this name...

I am battling Teacher Yu?

Is it true?

Should I consider myself lucky or unlucky...
