Chapter 444: You can meet Steven anywhere outside the Hoenn League

January 24th, Saturday.

On a long-lost day off, Qingyu didn't stay in the Sunny Gym to enjoy his leisure time.

As a Gym Leader, besides being responsible for assessing the students of Naranja Academy, maintaining the safety and stability of the surrounding environment is also his daily work.

Because the structure system of the Paldea League is very efficient, generally there won't be any big problems.

It's just that sometimes there will be some wild Pokémon that have mastered Terastallization after entering Area Zero, which need to be cleaned up regularly.

Even if the main entrance of Area Zero is closed, that is a road for humans; most Pokémon have various means of flying over walls and digging into the ground, and can easily enter Area Zero to grab energy.

And the wild Pokémon outside are completely no match for the fierce Pokémon in Area Zero, so they will quickly leave after getting enough Tera energy.

The combat power of these Pokémon far exceeds other peers, so it is difficult for ordinary trainers to solve them, and if they are not managed, it will affect the ecology.

And the Alliance doesn't have much manpower to deal with them, so this part of the cleanup work has been entrusted to the Gym Leaders of various regions.

The processing method is also very simple—

As long as you defeat a Pokémon that has mastered Terastallization once, and smash or collect all the Tera shards attached to them, you can temporarily solve the problem.

Pokémon themselves do not have the ability to generate Tera armor; they must rely on these energy crystals made by Terapagos to briefly obtain the power of Terastallization.

In fact, this is the Tera Raid in the game.

It's just that in the near future, this part of the task will be helped by a certain "enthusiastic student."

Of course, in reality, these tasks actually don't need Qingyu to do them at all...

Since evolving, Lucario's "hunting range" has expanded to the surrounding area of dozens of miles, basically ensuring that nearby Tera Pokémon are killed instantly when they show their heads.

Relying on the feat of hunting down Tera Pokémon, the situation that Qingyu originally thought would be "Lucario destroying the regional ecology" not only didn't happen, but it also had a very good relationship with the local wild Pokémon groups.

From the original "ghost-seeing-fear" to the current "clear soup and big master" of wild Pokémon...

It's also quite magical.

On the way to East Province Area Three riding Miraidon, Qingyu thought silently while reaching out to command the direction Miraidon was moving.

"I didn't expect that I would need to work overtime on holidays..."

While Qingyu let out a sigh, he shook his head secretly.

East Province Area Three is the most important mining area in Paldea, located near Zapapico, a heavy industrial gathering area.

Because there are many rocky mountains and natural mines nearby, you can see many mine caves and man-made steel supports along the way, and trainers who come here for the first time are easy to get lost.

Of course, the Alliance's official description of East Province Area Three is obviously outdated, because of the existence of the Rotom Phone, unless you have the conceptual getting-lost ability like Leon, it is really difficult to be trapped in an area and unable to get out.

As for the reason why Qingyu appeared here, it is also very simple.

Because a very difficult Pokémon has appeared near East Province Area Three recently, digging holes everywhere in the nearby mining area, causing the structure of the mine to change, and even seriously endangering the personal safety of nearby miners.

And it happened that...

Only Levincia has an Alliance-certified Gym near East Province Area Three.

And Iono, as a rookie, facing a Ground-type Pokémon that she might not be good at dealing with, obviously it's not easy to take over this matter.

Therefore, Chairman Geeta entrusted him to go to investigate.

Although like Iono and Grusha, Qingyu is also a rookie who officially became a Gym Leader last year, there are also gaps between rookies. ===== CHAPTER 446 =====
