Chapter 533

An older Team Rocket executive blurted out subconsciously.

The Pokémon behind Xiang Qingyu might not be known to other rookies, but as a "two-dynasty veteran" who followed Giovanni's mother since the founding of Team Rocket, he certainly recognized it.

Mew, the legendary Mythical Pokémon, and also the initial goal of Team Rocket's establishment!

He didn't expect that the existence Team Rocket had been searching for so hard would actually appear in front of them so openly now.

And, it was as an opponent...

Legend has it that Mew possesses the genes of all Pokémon, so theoretically it can learn all Pokémon's moves. Now it seems this conjecture should be true.

With just a wave of its hand, it sealed all their Koffing, making them unable to continue using Self-Destruct...

Although this tactic, called "Chain Self-Destruct" by executive Lambda, was indeed derived from Teacher Yu's teaching videos, they had also undergone localized improvements.

The power of Koffing's Self-Destruct is not that great, but the advantage is that the leaked gas can greatly increase the lethal range.

At the same time, the Neutralizing Gas ability possessed by some Koffing can completely offset the interference of the Damp ability on explosion-type moves.

Theoretically, it should be an unsolvable tactic.

As a result, Teacher Yu reacted instantly and could cooperate tacitly with Mew.

Terrifying!

...... Wait a minute?

While shocked, this Team Rocket old-timer finally reacted—

Since the Koffing can't use moves now, aren't we done for???

A sense of despair instantly shrouded the hearts of all Team Rocket grunts.

And Lance, after a brief shock, quickly made the next judgment:

"Surround and suppress these Team Rocket grunts with all your strength!"

Let's not talk about how Xiang Qingyu managed to summon Mew for now; the most important thing right now is to finish dealing with Team Rocket.

Lance quickly led the team, killing the Team Rocket grunts who had lost their Pokémon as a reliance until they fled in panic.

And Sabrina, who also followed Xiang Qingyu and Lance to Viridian City, remained expressionless, her eyes staring straight at the pink little cat in the air that was showing a mischievous smile.

So, so cute...

I didn't expect Teacher Yu to have such a cute Pokémon, and it looks like it should also be Psychic-type?

Imprison is a relatively common practical psychic technique, and the principle is not complicated.

As long as you are familiar with the move energy used by the opponent, you can use powerful psychic power to temporarily seal that move.

It sounds like a very powerful move. As long as you learn enough moves, you will definitely be able to interrupt the opponent's use of moves, thereby standing in an invincible position.

But it has an obvious drawback—

If your strength cannot steadily suppress the opponent, this move will be difficult to cast successfully.

Due to heavy restrictions, ultimately only a few Pokémon with extremely powerful psychic powers will be more inclined to use this move.

Of course, Sabrina herself can also use this move.

Her method of use is also very simple, focusing on brute force, and even using psychic power to hard-control the opponent, making them unable to move, is not a problem.

When it comes to psychic power, there may not be many Pokémon in this world stronger than her...

However, with so many Koffing just now, wanting to seal all their moves in one breath is obviously not something ordinary Pokémon can do.

As expected of Teacher Yu, the Pokémon in his hands are indeed very powerful.

Sabrina couldn't help but sigh in her heart.

"Mew~"

After easily resolving the crisis with one move, Mew still had a smiling expression, sitting directly on Xiang Qingyu's shoulder.

"……"

Xiang Qingyu breathed a sigh of relief and touched Mew's head dotingly.

"Thanks to you, Mew."

Mew's genes are indeed as powerful as recorded in the Pokedex. Even Self-Destruct, which it shouldn't be able to learn in the game, can be easily sealed in actual combat.

If it gets serious, except for a small number of legendary Pokémon, other Pokémon might not even be able to use moves when they see it...

However, Mew's personality is too playful. Compared to one-sided crushing, it seems more keen on teasing opponents, so it often uses its transformation ability to fight a "fair" battle.

Meaning transforming into various Pokémon that restrain the opponent, and it can even transform into legendary Pokémon it has seen, and can use their ultimate moves.

It's no wonder Team Rocket thinks about Mew every day. This kind of Pokémon is really too underhanded in actual combat!

However, what if Mew is his teammate?

How can there be such a reliable Pokémon? It is definitely a golden partner with him!

Mew can learn almost all Pokémon's moves, and Xiang Qingyu happens to know a thing or two about these moves, making it exceptionally handy to command.

We two are really amazing!

Although Xiang Qingyu also knows that he only got a "Mew Experience Card" because he wanted to rescue Mewtwo, and in the future Mew will probably return to its street-roaming nature, but...

Forget it, let's enjoy it first!

"Mew~"

Mew stretched out its small hand and high-fived Xiang Qingyu tacitly.

We are the ace partners!

With the support of the Xiang Qingyu and Mew combination, coupled with Sabrina's equally powerful psychic power, the small fry blocking the way couldn't form any effective threat and were pushed all the way through.

Whether it's Imprison or Hypnosis, or even moves like Perish Song that have incredibly huge lethality in team battles, Mew can quickly understand and use them, especially useful when dealing with small fry.

Soon, Lance killed his way into the interior of the Viridian Gym first.

On the empty battle field, there was only a middle-aged man in a suit standing with his hands behind his back, calm and composed, with his back to them.

The moment he saw the man, Lance spoke coldly immediately.

"Giovanni, I need an explanation."

"Why would Team Rocket appear near the Viridian Gym?"

To this, Giovanni did not reply, only chuckled, and then spoke in a mocking tone:

"So the famous Dragon Messenger, Kanto Champion Lance, also has things he doesn't know."

Originally, he seemed to intend to say more, but after seeing the two figures arriving one after another, his expression froze for a moment.

The appearance of Xiang Qingyu and Sabrina was indeed a situation that even Giovanni didn't expect.

One is a Gym Leader and popular streamer who is far away in Paldea and has nothing to do with their Kanto;
