Chapter 617

The joining of Indeedee sister made the food level in the gym improve quite a bit.

It is also because of this that all the Pokémon were incomparably satisfied with it joining this family, and all wished they could raise four hands to express strong welcome.

Except for Shelgon, who couldn't eat because of its physical structure, but it also had no way to express its opinion, so everyone defaulted that it also agreed.

However, the shortcomings of this Indeedee sister are actually very obvious...

It can eat a bit too much.

Just one lunch + dinner, the ingredients Xiang Qingyu originally reserved for the two days of the weekend had already bottomed out.

That is to say, just such a small Indeedee sister, the appetite is almost equivalent to the level of all the Pokémon in the gym combined...

Those who don't know would think that Teacher Feather is raising a Snorlax in the gym.

Even Miraidon, who is known for "doing nothing, first in eating," was stunned, clearly a bit humiliated and autistic.

There is even a Pokémon competing with me for the title of rice bucket?

How can this life go on!

"Umm..."

After dinner, Indeedee sister, who finished washing the bowls and chopsticks, looked at the empty big refrigerator, and its expression clearly showed a bit of shyness.

Bad, I accidentally relaxed too much and exposed my true appetite!

But I haven't eaten so full for a long time, the feeling of being filled is really happy...

If it could be like this forever in the future, how beautiful life would be!

Regarding this, Xiang Qingyu looked at it very openly.

"It doesn't matter, Indeedee, I'll just prepare more ingredients in the future."

Standing behind it, Xiang Qingyu smiled slightly.

"Since you are already a member of the gym, don't be polite anymore."

From the perspective of a trainer, it is definitely a good thing for a Pokémon to have a strong appetite.

Eating how much food represents how much energy it has obtained, which is definitely only good for its own ability and physical growth, and can almost be regarded as proof of potential.

The only disadvantage might be that the weight will also increase, which might be a bit awkward for a lady.

Of course, for most Pokémon, this is not a bad thing.

The most classic is Snorlax, the more it eats, the bigger its body, and the stronger the suppression of using moves like Body Slam.

So they are all big eaters by nature, it is said that they can eat as much food as a mountain in a day, and in ancient times they were even regarded as one of the natural disasters, sweeping away the food stored in the rice granary.

Xiang Qingyu is not clear whether the information about Snorlax is true, but the appetite of this newcomer in the gym is definitely far beyond the level that this kind of Pokémon should have.

So Xiang Qingyu speculated that the potential of this Indeedee sister is definitely not ordinary.

However, one full meal might not be able to reflect the effect, after all, Indeedee estimated that it had been in a state of long-term hunger before.

It needs a period of conditioning, and it can only get a definite answer after entering the perfect state.

Of course, even if Indeedee sister really has nothing special, Xiang Qingyu definitely won't be short of this bite of food for it.

Just treat it as hiring an all-around housekeeper to assist him in managing the gym.

Anyway, he is also an officially certified eight-gym leader, and there is no such thing as being short of money.

Even if Indeedee really emptied the food reserves of his gym, he could just write a report and let the League approve another sum of funds.

If they knew he was doing it to cultivate Pokémon, Chairman Geeta would definitely agree.

Plan passed!

"Umm... (; ω; `)"

Hearing Xiang Qingyu's words, Indeedee shed tears, whether it was moved or excited.

I really met a very kind human this time!

At the same time, the pair of double horns drooping downward on its head began to shake again, seemingly absorbing emotional energy from Xiang Qingyu.

Xiang Qingyu soon noticed this point.

Because he had cultivated Eevee, he also had some understanding of some idealistic powers in the Pokémon world.

According to the Pokédex introduction, male Indeedee will use their horns to receive positive emotions from other creatures and convert them into their own spiritual energy.

As for females, they seem to be more suitable for taking care of people and Pokémon than fighting, and enjoy it.

This is also the main reason why this special Pokémon Indeedee will have individual differences based on gender.

Besides the difference in base stats, the moves they can learn also have differences.

The main difference lies in the auxiliary skills of Follow Me and After You, and of course there are more other conflicting moves.

And in the Scarlet and Violet generation, because of some reasons, female Indeedee could also obtain the Trick Room move, so in order to balance the gender, it was correspondingly cut off from Wide Force, becoming the exclusive move of male Indeedee.
