Chapter 69: You Are Not Allowed to Play Pokémon! Chapter 32

【Instead of using Gale Wings for priority Brave Bird to one-shot people, you're stacking meat to torture the opponent? You guy, Teacher Yu...】

"Roost!"

With no time to pay attention to the comments, Qingyu made the command without hesitation.

This was the first time Talonflame had used a Flying-type move in this match.

Due to the effect of the Gale Wings ability, its execution speed was shockingly fast.

Almost the moment the command was issued, it had already quickly rooted itself in the ground, continuously nourishing itself with the warmth brought by its feathers.

Roost, a Flying-type move.

By briefly abandoning its own Flying type, it exchanges it for rapid HP recovery.

A recovery move that is stable and faster than others, paired with the Defense boost brought by Bulk Up.

Qingyu didn't even need to explain; the audience already understood.

This is no eagle; it is clearly a heavy tank that physical attackers cannot break through!

【Nani?! There's such an operation?】

【I was wondering why it was Bulk Up instead of Swords Dance; so that's how it is. Teacher Yu's move is a bit interesting!】

【Then if I send out a special attacker, aren't you blown up?】

【Pokémon battles aren't solo fights; special attackers naturally have other teammates to deal with them~】

Once the fangs of the tactic were revealed, the balance of the match tilted uncontrollably toward Qingyu.

Staraptor belatedly followed up with another Brave Bird.

However, with the Flying Gem already ineffective, this attack was even more ticklish.

After bouncing off the opponent's attack with its chest muscles, Talonflame spread its wings again, still soaring proudly in the sky, and looked down at the Staraptor below with a disdainful gaze.

As if saying:

Is that it?

【Laughing my head off, are you just tickling him there!】

【How do I remember Talonflame's durability being very average? How come the opponent can't hit it after one Bulk Up?】

【Uh ah, Bulk Up Bulk Up!】

Such a dramatic scene naturally caused heated complaints from the audience.

"It's getting difficult..."

Rika sighed and shook his head helplessly.

The opponent's little tricks were already so obvious; how could he not know?

Or rather, from the moment he miscalculated the opponent's configuration, he had already fallen into a carefully designed trap.

This durability-specialized Talonflame, as long as it catches a physical attacker that cannot pose a threat to it and uses Bulk Up once, the next part is its time to shine.

Just where is this expert from, to be able to think of such...

Unique tactics?
