"I came to pick you up."

Xia Yurou smiled and said,

"I'll just take a taxi to the hotel myself."

"General Manager Xia, let's go, the car is waiting outside."

Yu Chengye said, taking the suitcase from Xia Yurou's hands.

Xia Yurou nodded, and the three walked toward the airport exit together.

Yu Chengye drove up a luxury sedan, placed the suitcase in the trunk, then opened the door and invited Xia Yurou to sit in the back seat.

"Thank you."

Xia Yurou got into the car, and Jiangnan followed suit.

Yu Chengye frowned slightly at the sight, but said nothing, silently closed the door and took his seat in the driver's seat.

The car started and headed toward the city center.

Inside the car, the atmosphere was a bit awkward. Yu Chengye occasionally glanced through the rearview mirror, stealing looks at Jiangnan and Xia Yurou, his eyes full of hostility.

"General Manager Xia, how long do you plan to stay in Jianghai this time?"

Yu Chengye broke the silence and asked.

"This visit is mainly to discuss a cooperation project with your Yu family's jewelry company."
