He had brought this sword only recently, and had grown a lot fond of it. This was the first time he used it in a real battle, and it served him well.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>But now it was as broken as he felt.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>His left arm was entirely numb, his right ankle throbbed from a mild sprain, and his chest ached every time he took a breath.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Kang had dislocated a shoulder, and Lily had survived with only minor cuts — save for the deep gash running across her torso.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Alexia, surprisingly, fared better than expected.
