How long do we have to hold this for?\" The senior officer asked as he held down the trigger on his rifle.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"Until reinforcement comes!\"\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>As all the mounted MG-42s began to overheat from being overused, none of the soldiers stopped holding down their triggers.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Meanwhile, on the beachfront itself, the zombies had built an entire bridge made out of each other.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>By each other, it meant their physical bodies stacked on top of each other to form a pontoon bridge.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Hundreds upon thousands of zombies were flooding in, right towards where the soldiers were positioned.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Fortunately, the high angle made it easier for them to hold, but it was only a matter of time before their raw firepower was forced to be stopped.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"2nd MG-42 overheated!\"\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"3rd MG-42 overheated! We don't have any more barrels to replace!\"\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>With more and more machine guns overheating, the soldiers were forced to rely on their rifles to hold them back.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Soon, the zombies's advancement went from within two hundred steps all the way to within a hundred steps.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"Liuentant! Reinforcement is here!\" One of the soldiers yelled as they noticed hundreds of marching sounds behind them.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"Everyone! Throw your grenades!\"\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>As rows of explosions appeared on the beach, the zombie's advancement was finally stalled for a few seconds.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>That few seconds were critical enough for all the soldiers to reload their magazines.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>The reinforcement had also begun firing from a distance, further reducing the stress on the soldier's shoulders.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"RPG!\"\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>As soldiers yelled, a loud explosion went off right at where the zombie bridge was located.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>With a loud flash in the middle of the night, they could all see the bridge completely collapsing.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"Don't celebrate yet! Stay vigilant! We're going to head over to other quadrants!\"\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>An officer with the rank of Colonel within the reinforcement yelled as they headed further west.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>The soldiers in their defending positions soon realized they weren't the only ones being attacked, as more gunfire could be heard down the road.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"Everyone! Focus on the clean-up!
