Zombies filled the place... hundreds of them... standing in eerie silence.

At the center of it all, a throne had been fashioned from twisted metal and shattered machinery.

Upon it sat a zombie.

At first glance, it looked as though it were being worshipped.

Every other zombie surrounding the throne kept a respectful distance, their heads lowered, their bodies stiff with instinctive fear.

If one looked closely, one would realize this zombie was nothing like the others.

Its skin was almost translucent, pale to the point of whiteness, as if life itself had been drained long ago.

It looked disturbingly human. What truly set it apart, however, was its aura... terrifying, overwhelming, and so oppressive that even a level-four human would instinctively tremble before it.

Its eyes were closed.

It looked dead.

A dagger was embedded deep into its neck, the blade driven so far in that a vicious slash nearly severed its head from its body.

Only a thin strip of flesh and sinew kept it attached. Submissive. Afraid.

The zombie on the throne stiffened, instinct screaming at it to retreat. For a split second, it almost tried to back away.

Then it noticed the way the others were looking at it, not with hunger, but with worship.

Hands trembling, one zombie shuffled forward, holding out a half-rotted apple as an offering.

The throne-seated zombie froze.

"What... is going on?" it muttered.

The words were spoken in clear human language.

The other zombies exchanged confused glances, their limited intelligence unable to comprehend speech.

At that moment, the throne zombie narrowed its eyes sharply.

A flash of realization surged through its mind.

"Was I... reincarnated?"

It slowly stood up.

The instant it did, an agonizing pain tore through its neck.

A guttural growl escaped its throat as its hand flew up, fingers brushing the wound.

The pain was deep, unnatural, as if its body remembered death far too vividly.

The surrounding zombies dropped to their knees.

Their bodies trembled violently.

These were no ordinary zombies. Others believed it weakened anyone who approached.

Isla had dismissed all of it as nonsense.

Until now.

With a cold snort, she decided to confirm it herself.

She moved toward the SiIvy Base.

As she crossed the seven-hundred-and-fifty-meter mark, her body betrayed her.

Her hands began to tremble violently.

Her legs weakened. Muscles twisted at unnatural angles, joints screaming as if an invisible force was crushing her from all sides.

It felt like something vast and merciless was warning her.

’Do not come closer.’

Her body refused to obey.

If she advanced even one more step, she knew, she would die.

Isla clenched her teeth, fury and despair colliding in her chest. ’Is this my fate?’ she thought bitterly.

’Even after dying... even after reincarnating as a Zombie King... I still can’t take revenge on a mere human?’

Her eyes darkened.

"No," she whispered. "I will take my revenge."

Even if she had to plan every single step.

She turned back and returned to the factory, her expression carved from cold determination. Facing the kneeling zombies, she spoke with absolute authority.

"From now on," she ordered, "every target you hunt... will be from the SiIvy Base."

They would make sure that the moment anyone left the SiIvy base, they would attack those people without mercy.

Hearing those words, the other zombies slowly turned their hollow gazes toward Isla, confusion flickering in their clouded eyes.

They could hardly understand what she meant.

From their perspective, Isla’s goal sounded like nothing more than offal rubbish, meaningless garbage wrapped in dull gold.

Still, as long as they could grasp the order itself, they would follow it.
