Chapter 1778: You
The next day, after breakfast, Liu Chuxue did not go straight to school to register but first took the triplets to the daycare with Fu Yan Cheng.
She planned to let them adjust here first, then transfer them to the preschool's kindergarten class once they turned three.
With connections in the government, things went smoothly—and Uncle Shen had already made arrangements on their behalf.
With all three little ones together, Liu Chuxue wasn't worried they'd be bullied.
After settling them in, the couple left.
But after leaving the daycare, they didn't depart—they stood outside the window, watching how the three children would behave.
Unexpectedly, the first one to struggle was Le Bao; the little one's eyes welled up with tears, looking utterly pitiful—but Fu Bao and Kang Bao showed real responsibility, each standing on one side to comfort him.
Only when Le Bao smiled did the two boys exchange a glance and finally exhale in relief.
The tiny expressions and movements filled the couple with overwhelming cuteness.
Seeing the children were fine, the couple turned and left.
Fu Yan Cheng still insisted on walking them into the classroom.
But once inside, he went around greeting every child, only then preparing to leave.
This left Liu Chuxue both amused and exasperated.
As he left, he loudly called out to her: "Wife, I'll come pick you up at noon."
Yet when lunch ended and she saw the two people at the gate, Liu Chuxue froze: "Why are you both here together?"
Fu Yan Cheng gave Jiang Wenyue a cold look—he still remembered how this woman had caused trouble for his wife during registration, and now that he knew she was waiting for his wife too, his mood darkened: "Wife, what does she want with you?"
Liu Chuxue smiled at her: "She has something to discuss."
Then she turned to Jiang Wenyue: "Let's go. Come to my place—we can sit and talk."
She didn't ask what it was about yet; she knew Jiang Wenyue wouldn't come at this hour unless it was urgent.
Jiang Wenyue nodded: "Alright, then I'll be troubling you."
She knew she'd left no good impression on Fu Yan Cheng and didn't expect him to forgive her so easily.
Jiang Wenyue didn't take her own car—she got into Fu Yan Cheng's.
When they arrived home, Wei Dama quickly brought out the food.
Liu Chuxue invited Jiang Wenyue: "If you don't mind, join us for a meal."
Jiang Wenyue hadn't eaten because she'd been waiting for Liu Chuxue; though embarrassed, her stomach was growling, so she swallowed her pride, thanked her, and sat down.
As for Fu Yan Cheng, he wasn't petty enough to deny someone a meal.
He simply didn't say a single word to Jiang Wenyue the entire time.
Liu Chuxue found his solemn expression amusing—how could this man be so vengeful?
Seeing there was a guest, Wei Dama didn't eat with them; like Song Sanrui, she took her food and returned to the room with Wei Wenbin.
Jiang Wenyue cleared her throat: "Liu Chuxue, I came today because we've discussed it—could you provide one extra design sketch per quarter?"
Liu Chuxue didn't answer directly but asked in return: "Are you really that greedy? You haven't even started yet."
Jiang Wenyue hurried to explain: "We've brought on a new investor. After seeing your designs, she's very confident in them.
When she learned the terms of our contract, she proposed keeping the original three-year term but asked if you could deliver one extra design per quarter—so one per month. We'll rewrite the contract: it won't be a gift of shares, but an actual ten percent equity stake—you're investing your technical expertise."
