Without time to think, she reached out to pull the pen out. Realizing what he wanted, she said "pardon me" and began searching his pockets.

Finding nothing but a pack of cigarettes, she tore off the outer wrapper, handed it to him, opened the pen cap, and supported his elbow so he could lean on it.

Fu Yan Cheng fought off dizziness, wrote a name and a phone number, and said in a hoarse voice: "Please, contact this person. Tell him the peach blossoms on Mang Mountain have bloomed. Ask him to come and enjoy the flowers as soon as possible, and don't forget to bring the agreed-upon items."

After saying this, he collapsed into a state of total exhaustion.

Seeing him like this, Liu Chuxue said anxiously: "Comrade, what's wrong?"

Fu Yan Cheng, his face pale, said weakly: "I'm fine. Please, contact the person as soon as possible."

He forced himself to pat his pocket: "Take the phone money from my pocket yourself."

Liu Chuxue looked at the information on the cigarette box, knowing the situation was urgent, and put aside her own grievances: "You saved me today; I will definitely handle this for you."

As she turned to leave, she paused: "Where are you injured? Let me see if I can help stop the bleeding."

He looked severely injured, and the smell of blood was too strong; if she didn't treat it, he might not last until help arrived.

After all, in his current state, she truly had no way to carry him out.

Fu Yan Cheng wanted to say it wasn't necessary, but Liu Chuxue had already lifted his hem, seeing him pressing his abdomen where blood was seeping through his uniform.

Sure enough, his abdominal wound was severe.

Liu Chuxue had learned first aid in college, and her workplace had organized medical training; she knew the basics.

But there was no medicine, and the wound was large; pressure was not suitable.

Still, she couldn't just leave him: "Offense taken."

She began unbuttoning his coat.

After a great effort, she removed his coat and shirt. With no other choice, she tore the shirt into strips to use as bandages and clumsily bandaged his wound.

Although it was still seeping blood, it was better than doing nothing. She did her best and left the rest to fate.

After much effort, she put his coat back on: "Comrade, I will send the message as soon as possible."

As a modern person, she didn't feel embarrassed, as she was saving a life, but she didn't notice that Fu Yan Cheng, leaning against the wall, had reddened ears.

Liu Chuxue had the original owner's memories and was familiar with the forest. Using the sun to navigate, she stumbled her way out.

Passing a small river, she tidied herself up before rushing to the commune's post office. Her motto was to protect herself before helping others; she didn't want to be gossiped about because of her appearance.

After paying the deposit, the staff dialed the number and handed her the phone. Hearing someone on the other end, she said: "Please, help me find Kong Yizhang."

Kong Yizhang was puzzled when he heard a woman looking for him: "I am he. Who is this?"

"Comrade Kong, someone asked me to tell you that the peach blossoms on Mang Mountain have bloomed. Please come and enjoy the flowers as soon as possible, and don't forget to bring the agreed-upon items." ===== CHAPTER 4 =====
