Chapter 664: These People Came for Her

After a good night's sleep, Liu Chuxue got up early.

After washing up in the space, she calculated the time and went out.

She boarded the bus right as it was departing, saw one seat left at the back, and sat down.

If nothing unexpected happened, she could still make it to the factory canteen for breakfast.

Lost in thought, she walked toward the seats at the back.

Seeing people outside, she said, "Comrade, please make way; I'd like to sit in the inner seat."

That person glanced at Liu Chuxue, stood up to make way, and let her sit in.

Liu Chuxue thanked him and sat down neatly.

But after the person sat down, she smelled a scent of printing ink coming from the person beside her.

She turned to look at the man and thought: He's probably a teacher, maybe printing exam papers for students.

She didn't pay much mind to that single glance.

Before long, the bus started moving; she was still sleepy, so she leaned against the window and dozed off again.

But before the bus had even gone halfway, she heard someone call her name: "Liu Chuxue, is that you?"

Liu Chuxue looked over with sleepy eyes: "This woman, she didn't know her."

With a confused expression, she asked, "Who are you?"

That woman smiled at her: "Look at you, child, you're so drowsy you don't even recognize Second Aunt?"

That woke the sleepiness right out of her; Liu Chuxue studied the woman closely: "Second Aunt, which Second Aunt?"

The woman hadn't expected Liu Chuxue's reaction: "From Sixth Master Liu's family."

Liu Chuxue recalled carefully; Sixth Master Liu's family did indeed have a daughter, but after searching the original owner's memories, she couldn't find what Sixth Master Liu's Second Aunt looked like.

This made Liu Chuxue immediately raise her guard; she blurted out a lie: "I heard you and my Third Aunt got married to the same village; is she doing well?"

The woman frowned slightly, then quickly replied: "You child, you're drowsy; your grandmother only had three sons, where would a Third Aunt come from?"

Although the woman reacted quickly, Liu Chuxue's senses were too sharp; she caught the woman's subtle expression clearly and thought: Isn't this a new kind of scamming trick? After all, she came from the future.

Liu Chuxue casually added: "I'm talking about the Third Aunt from my Third Grandmother's family."

Seeing Liu Chuxue's expression didn't change, the woman said: "Oh, you mean her? Even though we're in the same village, each family has its own busyness; we don't visit each other often."

There, confirmed; this was a scammer.

Now Liu Chuxue was truly awake; with so many people on the bus, why had they singled her out?

Before the woman could say anything else, Liu Chuxue spoke up: "Second Aunt, I'm a bit carsick; dozing off might help."

Saying that, she closed her eyes.

The move was seamless, causing the words on the woman's lips to be swallowed back down.

This woman was indeed able to keep her composure; she kept her eyes closed to rest all the way and didn't try to talk to her again.

The bus rattled all the way into the city; the woman reached out and pushed Liu Chuxue: "Liu Chuxue, wake up; we've arrived, time to get off."

Liu Chuxue opened her eyes: "Oh my goodness, finally here; if we hadn't arrived, I would have thrown up."

Saying that, she quickly squeezed her way off the bus, acting as if she'd vomit all over the vehicle if she was a step late, which indeed prevented the person from suspecting anything.

As Liu Chuxue got off the bus, she used her spiritual sense to observe the surroundings.

One look was enough; she really did spot something suspicious.

Several people stood at different positions, staring straight at the bus; their positions seemed casual, yet all were unavoidable spots on the way out of the station.

Then she saw that so-called Second Aunt making hand gestures to them from behind; how could anyone not understand? These people had come for her.
