Chapter 165: A chat about the recent plot

A chat about the recent plot

I previously told everyone I wouldn't post any more single-chapter announcements, but this plot is very controversial, so I'd better talk about it.

I had actually finished writing it after six o'clock and was ready to post it, but readers kept telling me, "You've stepped on a landmine; writing it this way makes the protagonist not a stickler for principle, but a rascal."

The reason is that one cannot target only the delivery person, because the real cause of this problem is the delivery Company, and if one is going to be a stickler for principle, one must be a stickler for everything.

I choose to accept this feedback, and I sincerely admit that my consideration was insufficient.

I mentioned a lot in my previous plot that the main reason is the delivery Company, but the reason I chose this incident was mainly because of personal experience, so relying on my own feelings to write it caused me to fall into a rut and target the delivery person.

Does the delivery person have problems? Of course they do, but if you are going to be a stickler for principle, you must be a stickler for everything!

Everyone is quite right; the protagonist being a stickler for principle is meant to do things that people find difficult to do in daily life. If one could just file a complaint at will, then I think this book would lose its meaning.

Everyone actually knows the reason: the delivery Company is the biggest problem. However, I imagined many, many methods, only to find that no matter whether you complain to the Company or file a Lawsuit against the Company, the final outcome always lands on the delivery person.

This is different from an S Shop, because the delivery person is the person directly responsible for the last mile, and our only basis is the Postal Law and the Express Market Management Regulations. No matter how you write in your complaint that you want to complain about the delivery Company, the postal service and the Company will both fine the delivery person directly according to the regulations.

So I deleted the previous two chapters and went to consult a Lawyer friend this afternoon—yes, consult, not just ask.

Because relying on myself, I really couldn't think of a relatively reasonable logical plot.

The Lawyer friend has already chatted with me for a long time, and the advice he gave, how should I put it, was unexpected, but also... anyway, everyone just watch the following plot. This kind of plot will have some loopholes; fellow experts in the industry can point them out, and I can modify whatever can be modified to try to make the details as perfect as possible.

And you all guessed right, Lao Zhou is indeed a law student, but he changed careers after working for a year after graduation. Personally, I don't really like law, but I didn't expect that while writing this novel, I would be more diligent than when I was studying and working back then...

Every time I look through laws and regulations for a plot, I think to myself, if I had this much drive to study back in college, would I have ended up failing to even get into graduate school...

The plot definitely won't be deleted; everyone has paid real money to subscribe, and besides... I already paid the consultation fee, ahhhhh!

If I don't write this plot, wouldn't I have paid that money for nothing?
