Chapter 28: A Detailed Explanation
Lu Xiwán looked at Fu Sijue seriously, explaining each word to herself.
"Mr. Fu has such a good imagination; he might as well switch to being a screenwriter or novelist, so his talent doesn't go to waste." Lu Xiwán wriggled free from Fu Sijue's hand that was pressing hers.
Before, he married her and still tried to hook up with Gu Qingmeng; now he's with Gu Qingmeng and still wants to have something to do with her.
Sure enough, a house flower doesn't have the scent of a wild flower; believing this man is less reliable than believing a sow could climb a tree.
"How's the pepper spray I asked you to check last time?" Lu Xiwán, after returning to her room, dialed Luozhou directly.
Fu Sijue might need to see a Psychologist even more than Fu Yao; now that such severe delusional symptoms have appeared, he's probably seriously ill.
Luozhou over there originally thought Lu Xiwán was just joking, but after the call realized her tone wasn't joking at all.
"When I sent you back earlier, the security at Hengshan Gongguan was pretty good; what do you need this thing for?"
Luozhou clearly hadn't expected anything concerning Fu Sijue and was still puzzled over there.
Lu Xiwán, with a dark face, recounted the past few days' experiences in a rambling way.
She concluded that Fu Sijue living here was her greatest threat.
Luozhou, over there, fairly agreed, "Then you should prepare pepper spray; otherwise, maybe move out and live elsewhere."
Whatever they do, the premise is to ensure safety of life; given the current situation, Luozhou is indeed uneasy.
Lu Xiwán sighed, "Can I now take Yao Yao out for treatment, and later still have to take Yao Yao away? The child still has to stay with his biological father; I'm still an outsider."
In this world, only a mental illness is hardest to cure, and Fu Yao is a poor little thing; at such a young age he already has such severe psychological issues, and Lu Xiwán really can't bear to see the little Milk Group suffer.
"Wanwan, what's urgent now is you… during this period Fu Sijue has been investigating you, and sooner or later he'll find something…"
Who knows what outrageous things this madman Fu Sijue might still do; Luozhou dares not gamble with Lu Xiwán's life.
"Isn't that right? He despises me, even wants to see my corpse after I die; staging this whole drama was to ensure his Gu Qingmeng is safe."
When the past is mentioned, Lu Xiwán can only feel like laughing.
When she was around, Fu Sijue was unabashedly kind to Gu Qingmeng; after she's gone, he became distant. This drama was performed so realistically that she even began to believe it was real.
"Wanwan, it's all over now," Luozhou muttered to himself, "He shouldn't have brought this up, only added a few more sorrows for Lu Xiwán."
Fu Sijue's brazen favoritism toward Gu Qingmeng is almost known to the world, especially Lu Xiwán, who had been in the middle of it for years, knows it very clearly.
"He's afraid I'd fake my death, and also wouldn't be kind to his little sweetheart; I was truly blind to like such a person back then," Lu Xiwán sighed.
There are countless men in the world, yet she plunged headfirst, without looking back, into Fu Sijue's bottomless pit.
Luozhou, over there, listened quietly and didn't interrupt Lu Xiwán's recollection.
Some emotions always need to be vented; holding them in all the time is not good.
"No matter how bad Gu Qingmeng seems to us, in Fu Sijue's eyes she's the best, and no one can surpass how important Gu Qingmeng is to him."
The failed marriage made Lu Xiwán see through things; now it seems all her steadfastness has become a joke.
"You should rest early," Lu Xiwán suddenly realized she had said too many useless words, which turned out to be somewhat redundant.
