Chapter 600: Moving to Your Painting Studio

Mu Youyu took Yu Yu into the private elevator and pressed the button.

Yu Yu stood half a step behind her, hand on the elevator buttons, without speaking.

Mu Youyu spoke up: "What do you want to eat later?"

"Anything is fine, I'm not picky." Yu Yu's voice stayed gentle, showing obedience, "Whatever Mu Sister decides is fine."

The elevator stopped at the top floor, and the two entered the Chairman's Lounge first.

Inside was tidy, the air conditioning strong; Yu Yu sat on the edge of the sofa, hands properly placed on the knees.

Mu Youyu's posture was different; her whole body was almost lying on the sofa.

They played a round of a game, and the door to the lounge was pushed open from outside.

Yu Yu sat quietly on the sofa edge, hands neatly resting on the knees; hearing footsteps, they lifted their eyelids, saw it was Mu Sister's fiancé, then lowered them again.

Jiang Liangjin had just come out of the meeting room, his brows cold and stern.

His first reaction was to notice his fiancée on the sofa, his gaze softening as he started to walk over.

Jiang Liangjin had intended to step forward and pull Mu Youyu into his arms, but his gaze swept over Yu Yu, his motion paused, and he changed to ruffling her hair, asking, "Have you been waiting long? Why didn't you call me?"

"Afraid of disturbing you while you scold people." Mu Youyu grabbed his restless hand, her fingertips scratching his palm once.

Jiang Liangjin's eyes flickered; he turned his hand to hold hers, fingers interlaced, "Who told you I scold people?"

"Your assistant." Mu Youyu shook their joined hands, wearing an expression that said, "You can't hide it from me."

Jiang Liangjin spoke to defend himself: "I don't scold people."

"Okay, okay." Mu Youyu laughed, pulling him to sit down, pointing to Yu Yu beside them, "Xiao Yu took the day off to come over, and I brought her along for a free meal on the way."

Jiang Liangjin finally turned his head toward Yu Yu, "Hello."

"Hello, Young Master Jiang." Yu Yu gave a slight nod, "Sorry to bother you."

"No problem." Jiang Liangjin picked up the water pitcher on the table, poured a cup for Mu Youyu, then pushed another cup toward Yu Yu.

Mu Youyu poked Jiang Liangjin's hand back, "I'm hungry, I want to eat at that place we went to last Saturday."

"Sure, I'll have someone make a reservation." Jiang Liangjin lowered his head to reply to a message.

The three stood up and walked out.

After the elevator doors closed, Jiang Liangjin pulled Mu Youyu slightly toward him and asked in a low voice, "Just now in the exhibition hall, was anyone bothering you?"

Mu Youyu was drawn half a step forward by him, not breaking free, just leaning against his side, "Someone wanted to trade mineral samples for a collaboration with either the Mu Clan or the Song Clan, but I sent them away."

Jiang Liangjin lowered his brows, "Mineral samples?"

Yu Yu also listened curiously.

Mu Youyu turned to the side and explained, "Yes, he said the company has a consultant who collected a batch of mineral samples from different eras for mixing pigments."

"That person just doesn't look like a good guy." She paused, looked up at him, "But I'm actually quite interested in those mineral samples."

"Want to see them?" Jiang Liangjin pinched her cheek, "I'll have someone contact the Mineral Research Institute to move all their collection specimens to your studio."

Mu Youyu didn't expect him to act so quickly; she reached out and tapped his arm, "No need to move them, I just want to look, I'm not doing any mineral analysis."

Jiang Liangjin said indulgently, "Then just pick a few pieces you like and keep them."

In his eyes, spending money to buy a few stones to make his fiancée happy was well worth it.

Yu Yu pretended not to exist.
