Chapter 27: Chapter 27: Jealous Eyes Bleed
Ying, panting heavily, saw her frightened expression; his heart softened instantly, and only then gently placed her body onto the seat he was sitting on, reaching out to lightly stroke her delicate, smooth face.
"My Huaner really has skill."
She didn't quite understand Ying's words; what does this man mean? "Can you sit properly and speak?"
Ying, however, didn't want to leave her; he pounced onto her, panting heavily, yet laughed softly, "The Clan Leader just passed by; mother and child are safe. How could I not have known that Huaner possesses such ability?"
He had doubted her identity—her heterochromatic eyes, her strange medical skills, and the things he had never seen before; none of the items in that bag were familiar to him. Where did she actually come from, and why could she intimidate that three‑eyed Giant Python? Nan Qinghuan, seeing him seemingly bragging about himself, exhaled and tried to forcefully push his chest away; it had to be admitted, the man was extremely muscular.
Unexpectedly, her refusal greatly pleased Ying; her small hand scrambled over his body, and instantly a strange feeling arose in his heart, "Don't move."
He gripped her small hand tightly, his breathing rapid before her; his eyes shone crystal‑bright, emitting a dazzling light in the night.
"You…"
"Huaner, no matter who you are or where you come from, you cannot escape."
As soon as those words were spoken, she hadn't yet reacted when, in an instant, her clothing was gently lowered; just as she was about to utter a refusal, someone blocked her mouth, preventing her from saying anything.
The solitary moon illuminated the speckled starlight.
The Bonfire blazed fiercely, burning the most intense emotions—an eternal, unchanging true love, with a beauty like a rainbow, like rain striking a pearl curtain, yet also like a raging gale.
Within the Cave, a man's slightly magnetic voice echoed, accompanied by a woman's soft whisper, like a spring breeze warming the whole winter and summer.
Inside, it was warm as spring, while outside the cold wind howled past; the passion within was wholly absorbed by A Yue, whose angry fingernails dug into the stone wall, drawing blood, tears streaming down her face.
A cool breeze whispered, and A Yue's face was marked with tear stains; she glared fiercely into the Cave, then walked toward the high cliff.
The bright moonlight shone into the forest, luminous as daylight.
Suddenly, a strange eerie sound rose from the woods, followed by someone gradually approaching.
"Shamaness"
A woman with her feet bound walked up behind her; Aning saw that A Yue seemed to have been crying, and instantly felt a pang of sympathy, "Shamaness, you cried? You've never shed a tear from childhood until now?"
A Yue wiped away her tears and reverted to the fearless A Yue, she inhaled deeply and asked, "Is everything settled?"
Aning tore off a leaf, placed it in her mouth to chew, and said, "Wait, it's already done; that woman will be killed by Ying tomorrow."
"Tomorrow?"
Hearing that, a flash of vengeful pleasure crossed A Yue's eyes; she thrust her finger hard into a tree trunk, and instantly five sharp claw marks appeared on the trunk.
"Nan Qinghuan"
In the middle of the night, the exhausted Nan Qinghuan suddenly opened her eyes and woke; the first thing she saw was... a man's head swaying before her, Ying still reveling in the strange feeling she gave him, but Nan Qinghuan's body could no longer hold out; she reached out and clutched his back tightly, "Don't move recklessly."
Ying, seeing that she had awakened looking very fatigued, felt deeply concerned, gently leaned down, lowered his head, and softly kissed her little ear, "Huaner, don't leave me."
