Chapter 28: Can You Let Me Go?
Nan Qinghuan only feels her body is about to fall apart; how on earth does this man have so much stamina, and why does he never seem tired? "If I don't leave you, can you get up?"
If she continues like this, she feels she'll die.
Ying frowned slightly; he hadn't even had his fill yet, but seeing his beloved female looking so pitiful, he couldn't bear it.
Nan Qinghuan saw the dissatisfaction in his eyes, and realized her words were like flatulence; who would have thought... Ying actually restrained himself, stepped away from her, and after stepping down, Ying stripped naked and went to clean himself. When he left, she finally let out a long sigh of relief.
Soon, Ying returned, put the Beast Skin back on and walked to her side, then actually took another Beast Skin to wipe her body. Nan Qinghuan was a bit startled—does this wild man even like cleanliness? "You don't—leave it there, let me do it."
Ying adored her current appearance, her skin as delicate as a blown reed, the pleasant feel of his touch; this female made him feel as if he were soaring to the heavens.
She refused his help in cleaning herself, but it was useless; Ying persisted as before. He loved being with her so much that he wouldn't miss the chance to wipe her down. After he finished cleaning her, he tried to pick up her clothes to put them on her, but he couldn't figure out how to wear them. He gestured for a long while, looking at him helplessly, and his expression turned oddly earnest and cute.
Nan Qinghuan hurriedly got up, "Let me."
She stood up and, in front of him, put the clothes on; they were already like this, and she couldn't avoid anything—any sense of shame was utterly irrelevant on this ancient wild man's territory.
After the clothes were on, Ying finally took a Beast Heart from beside him, roasted it for her, and handed it over, "Have something to eat."
Nan Qinghuan was indeed hungry and didn't hold back; but just as she took the first bite, Ying suddenly said, "Eat more, it's better for me to have you bear offspring."
Hearing that, she instantly couldn't continue eating, only raising her eyes with a complicated expression toward him; Ying also noticed she was upset, "Huaner, what's wrong?"
Nan Qinghuan suddenly reached out and tossed the Beast Heart away; she didn't know what had come over her. Thinking that Ying was kind to her, that rescuing her was all to make her bear offspring, she simply couldn't stay.
"I won't eat!"
Seeing her suddenly discard the Beast Heart, Ying's gaze instantly turned cold, yet he still held back his anger and coaxed softly, "Don't like it? Then I'll cut you some meat—what kind of meat do you like, wild wolf, wild boar, or…"
"I don't want to eat anything, Ying. I know you saved me, and I'm grateful, but I can't accept staying here to bear your offspring. I'm human, not a tool for you to make children."
Fire burned in her eyes; Ying suddenly stood up, clenching his fists. She knew he was angry, but she had to speak out—if she didn't, she'd go mad!
If, in this wild man's eyes, Nan Qinghuan is just a child‑bearing tool, then it'd be better to kill her with a single slash—one may kill, but not disgrace!
Nevertheless, Ying suppressed his anger, "Huaner, stop fooling around; all females must bear offspring."
"That's them, not me. Doesn't A Yue like you? She wants to have offspring with you. If you let me go, can we settle things between us?"
She threw herself into it; rather than continue like this, she thought she might bargain a bit—maybe Ying would grow tired of her and let her go.
Nan Qinghuan was naively dreaming; Ying's gaze grew colder. He gave her a deep look without a word, then strode to the filthy ground, picked up every Beast Heart she had thrown, moving slowly, his whole body exuding a terrifying aura.
Sensing Ying's anger, even the Mammoth became agitated, repeatedly roaring toward this place.
Suddenly, Ying abruptly stood and walked toward her step by step; Nan Qinghuan, terrified, kept retreating, "Don't come over, speak some reason— we're not from the same place, we can't be together."
