Chapter 121: Evolution: Death Coffin

Bisigi rubbed Xiao Di's cheeks, her smile not reaching her eyes as she said, "You little rascal, thank you for the reminder."

"Wuwu (You're welcome)..." Xiao Di managed to say, insisting on speaking even while her face was being kneaded.

Bisigi snorted coldly, twisted her head and flicked her ponytail at the back of her neck, threatening, "Tonight, you will persist in exercising all night long."

"I will supervise you closely."

"Is this bullying a minor?" Xiao Di asked timidly, but her words made Bisigi's mouth twitch again.

At the same time, Bisigi silently made a firm decision in her heart: never to fight Luo Ge again.

Not even for a spar.

Fighting him was simply inviting suffering upon oneself.

With Bisigi voluntarily admitting defeat, the Crying Mask gained a large sum of resources.

The Crying Mask burst forth with a glow that rapidly spread across its entire body, enveloping it in dazzling white light.

This was the light of evolution.

In an instant, the Pokémon and Luo Ge's group all gathered around to admire this rare evolutionary scene.

Within the white light, the Crying Mask's body appeared as a single dark silhouette, then continuously stretched and enlarged, developing into a shape approximating a rectangular prism.

Suddenly, a pitch-black, sinister aura emanated, like an abyss that would drag living beings in and bury them deep within darkness.

Facing the chilling and terrifying aura, the white light dispersed amidst everyone's tense expressions, revealing the distinctive form beneath.

"This is a... coffin?"

Bisigi said in a daze, unable to comprehend why a mask would turn into a coffin.

"Yes, it is a coffin; it can also be called—"

"Death Coffin!"

Death Coffin is the name of the Crying Mask after evolution; it can also be called "Dess Coffin."

But Luo Ge still preferred the name "Death Coffin."

Death Coffin is a Pokémon resembling a coffin. It possesses a gleaming golden body, covered entirely in pure gold.

Its eyes are red, with a mask above them. It has four shadow-like gray hands.

Death Coffin likes to eat gold bars, symbolizing a king's wealth; therefore, many ancient tombs feature murals of it.

"Eh~"

Lying flat on the ground, Death Coffin extended its four gray phantom hands, gave a slight push, and immediately stood upright, smiling at everyone.

It has evolved!

Its strength has leaped forward.

In the recent battle, the Crying Mask mainly used support-type moves, not employing any offensive skills.

It was not that it didn't want to, but before evolution, its offensive stats were truly pitifully low.

Instead, the various moves it mastered had very good effects.

Now, it is different.

Although Death Coffin still leans toward being a physical tank or a support Pokémon,

it can now deal high damage with moves like 【Shadow Ball】 and 【Hex】.

If one counts moves like 【Power Split】 and 【tricks】, its overall combat power is even higher than that of Haunter.
