Chapter 91

The two sides held a grand signing ceremony at the Hilton Hotel in Shanghai.

Lin Yi represented Fengyi Tech, and Yu Dong represented Huawei.

After signing, they exchanged contracts.

Witnessed by many media outlets, the two shook hands firmly.

Immediately, the photo of the two signing was posted on the internet and reposted many times.

Even the Baidu Baike entry added an introduction to Lin Yi.

Such as date of birth, such as the time of founding Fengyi Tech.

At the same time, this cooperation with Huawei, etc.

Media including Tencent and NetEase all reported this event.

Naturally, Shanghai University of Engineering Science, including the students, also knew that an awesome student had appeared in the school.

"Have you heard? A senior named Lin Yi in his junior year founded a very awesome enterprise, and even Huawei has placed orders with them!"

"Lin Yi, you mean Boss Lin, right? Damn... how did Boss Lin suddenly become so awesome!"

A male student was told by someone and checked it on the internet.

Well! Boss Lin, who was quite good in their eyes, was already on the hot search.

And he had just reached a 300 million cooperation with Huawei.

This was simply "a little cow doing a handstand—awesome to the sky."

Who could have imagined that a person who was just an ordinary student a while ago would become a billionaire in the blink of an eye?

This turn was too gorgeous for ordinary students.

With various internet pushes and messages posted on the school's BBS forum.

The entire Shanghai University of Engineering Science was shaken.

"Seeking Senior Lin's WeChat ID, I am fair-skinned, beautiful, and have long legs...."

"Who has Junior Lin's contact number? I don't know if his company is still hiring? I am a senior this year and am struggling to find a job for graduation.

If anyone knows, I will pay a high price to buy it!"

"Boss Lin is really too awesome; I just read the NetEase news, this guy has reached a cooperation with President Yu of Huawei!"

"Hehe, I heard that our school seems to have expelled Lin Yi; I wonder how the school leaders will feel when they see the news on the internet now, haha!"

In fact, at this time, including the college president Wei Ming, several vice presidents were not in a very good mood.

Ever since he knew that a director of the Academic Affairs Office had operated the expulsion of Lin Yi,

Wei Ming's mood had not been good,

especially since Lin Yi had exploded on the internet in a short time.

Now he had even reached a cooperation with Huawei, involving an initial order of 300 million.

It could be said that Lin Yi now had the potential to become a tech tycoon,

although it was unknown what the future would hold, but just now, the internet was already dissatisfied with the 1 billion acquisition price mentioned by Boss Jia of LeEco.

After all, even the notoriously strict Huawei recognized Fengyi Tech's technology.

This was an ironclad fact: Fengyi Tech possessed leading high-tech technology.

And Lin Yi, as the founder of this enterprise, would naturally be covered in all kinds of honors soon.

But, as Lin Yi's school, their Shanghai University of Engineering Science had actually expelled the other party before he became famous.

As this matter was reported by major newspapers.

When Wei Ming attended some meetings, he could clearly feel the playful smiles revealed to him by the deans and presidents of some schools in Shanghai.

Whenever this happened, Wei Ming's heart ached.

Unfortunately, it wasn't that he didn't contact Lin Yi afterwards.

The other party indicated that he was not prepared to return to school to study because he was really too busy now.

As the company began to become famous and get on the right track.

Naturally, it couldn't be as messy as the "grass-roots team" it was before.

It needed to set up a production department, sales department, quality management, human resources department, and hire professional career managers.

Unlike before, when the entire Fengyi Tech only had a research department.

Now Lin Yi's daily work was interviewing all kinds of talents, or people dug out from headhunting companies.

In this situation, where would he have time to return to school.

Even if the school helped him cancel his student status, to be honest, Lin Yi didn't care much.

However, President Wei obviously wouldn't let Lin Yi go just like that.

On the day he contacted Lin Yi, President Wei directly removed that director of the Academic Affairs Office from his position,

and not only revoked Lin Yi's expulsion notice,

but Lin Yi was also rated for the student grant and scholarship for this semester.

Besides this, the school also announced to the outside world that the reports including "Xinmin Evening News" were untrue.

The school's punishment for Lin Yi was entirely a misunderstanding; the school did not really expel Lin Yi.

At least Lin Yi himself did not sign the expulsion notice.
