“The Blood of God activates, shatters the body’s inherent limits, breaks through God’s forbidden zone, and enables human evolution.”
Dr. Ma Xiu roared in his heart—after a lifetime of research, the Blood of God had finally reached its experimental moment; he could hardly wait to see the results, to see his perfect creation.
In truth, this Blood of God was derived from a mysterious substance extracted from the human body—a substance that normally remains dormant, but emerges during moments of crisis or when the human body is severely stimulated.
This substance contains unimaginably terrifying power—for instance, an old woman lifting a car wheel with one hand to rescue her grandson trapped beneath it—this was the work of this substance.
Originally, Dr. Ma Xiu became obsessively obsessed with this substance; to obtain it, he deliberately engineered countless natural and man-made disasters, then extracted the substance from human bodies.
It was precisely because of this research that he was expelled by Hughes Medical Research Institute; his actions were insane, and the number of people who died at his hands was incalculable.
Now, he had finally extracted this substance completely, injected it into human bodies, and triggered transformation—but unfortunately, the substance was highly toxic; every subject injected died.
Later, he discovered Godzilla’s existence and conceived a mad idea: he injected a portion of Godzilla’s blood into the substance, then added a trace amount of the Blood of God—and it worked. Godzilla’s blood neutralized the toxicity of the Blood of God, allowing the Blood of God to safely induce and maximally unleash the body’s latent power.
But sadly, the test subjects mutated, becoming monsters—Godzilla’s blood eroded the human body, altered its cells, and transformed the human form into Godzilla’s.
Human cells were simply too fragile, while Godzilla’s cells were far too aggressive; so he gradually reduced the volume of Godzilla’s blood injected, slowing the rate of cellular erosion, allowing the Blood of God time to activate and fully stimulate the body’s potential.
Now, Ye Nan was his second test subject; he had injected a large quantity of the Blood of God while reducing Godzilla’s blood, achieving neutralization—if Ye Nan showed any sign of imminent death, he would inject more Godzilla’s blood until the Blood of God was fully neutralized.
Ye Nan felt something extraordinary—as if, in an instant, he had gained the power to destroy heaven and earth, as if all truths in this world could no longer hide from him; in a single moment, he could see through everything, as if he were the supreme God—omniscient and omnipotent.
“Great power. Grand perception.” Ye Nan evaluated himself—in this moment, he felt his perception expanding infinitely, like a wild horse galloping freely without reins.
In his mental world, the material world no longer existed; only a world composed of pure energy remained.
This world was utterly monotonous—merely various colors, which together formed reality: green life, red radiance, blue water, gray mixtures—all laid bare before him; it was as if he had opened a door—a gateway to the path of God.
“Is this world the energy realm? Then what is the spiritual realm like?” Ye Nan murmured—and the scenery before him shifted again, revealing countless scenes.
Ye Nan had never known what the spiritual realm was like, nor had he ever imagined it—but now he knew.
In the spiritual realm, countless spiritual imprints, memories, thoughts, and emotions filled the air; in this realm, matter did not exist—nothing could block spirit. His gaze pierced through steel, through earth, through dense clusters of buildings, and connected with the spirits of others.
“Is that my great father?” A clear voice rang out—Little Angela appeared before Ye Nan, her eyes filled with fear and longing.
Angela, Smila? No—it should be the Fire Empress. Ye Nan was Smila’s guardian knight, and the Fire Empress was Smila’s script; in essence, the Fire Empress was Smila’s daughter—Ye Nan’s daughter.
“Why are you afraid?” Ye Nan gently stroked the Fire Empress, smiling. In the instant of contact, he perceived her emotions: a mixture of fear and excitement, and intense longing.
The Fire Empress gazed at Ye Nan, bewildered—she didn’t know what she feared, but instinctively felt terror: if this father wished, she could die at any moment, as if this father were the sovereign deity of all things.
In an instant, the spiritual realm trembled—power faded. Ye Nan’s perception was once again bound; his physical body became a rope, reining in the runaway Ye Nan.
“Power—power—I need power!” Ye Nan roared in frenzy. That omniscient, omnipotent power was like a drug, addictive; his current body felt like a painful prison, locking him in—he needed to shed this physical barrier, to exist as spirit, to attain omnipotence and immortality.
Seeing Ye Nan’s state, Dr. Ma Xiu felt a flicker of joy and asked urgently: “How do you feel?”
At that moment, Ye Nan realized his earlier lapse and blushed slightly—he had nearly lost himself in that feeling of omnipotence.
"Next time, I will never be fooled by power again. I am human—I am destined to become a strong one. I must control power, not let power control me." Ye Nan clenched his fists and swore inwardly.
“How exactly did it go?” Dr. Ma Xiu pressed. He could no longer wait—his Blood of God was humanity’s forbidden zone.
In Western legend, the human brain carries a lock—a lock imposed by God. Once this lock is broken, power is unleashed, and humanity becomes divine.
A great god, equal to God himself—precisely because God feared this power, feared humanity becoming his equal, did God impose the lock, binding this power tightly.
His Blood of God was the key to unlocking that lock—the culmination of a lifetime’s research; he desperately needed to know whether his work had succeeded or failed.
