Chapter 36: Chen Yang: Lu Yu, be my master!

Lu Yu nodded at Chen Yang, counted it as a greeting, and prepared to walk to his own seat.

"Lu Yu, these are the buns and fried dough sticks I made last night, all handmade by me!" Chen Yang offered a small bag like presenting a treasure.

Lu Yu didn't think it was a big deal, after all he had helped Chen Yang yesterday.

Chen Yang repaying kindness is not very normal.

But those words were heard by the Computer Lab classmates!

Handmade buns? When did Chen Yang become so idle?

Before……Chen Yang, to finish the task, barely ate, let alone cooked himself; now……he isn't even cooking for himself to eat!

So……

Everyone's gaze once again focused on Lu Yu.

A thought flashed through their minds.

The changes that happened to Chen Yang yesterday were all because of Lu Yu?

The logic is already clear; everything visible points to the same result.

But!

But everyone couldn't help shaking their heads.

Because this fact is too hard to believe!

A seven-year-old kid came to guide Chen Yang?

Moreover, it's a project personally directed by Professor Chen!

You should know this project has high technical content and great significance.

Once this project is completed, …… it is to be displayed internationally!

What does this indicate?

It is enough to show how heavy and difficult their task is.

……

Lu Yu still felt strange, not understanding why these classmates were staring at him.

But……it didn't matter anymore.

He sat down beside Chen Yang and started eating.

As everyone knows, eating is not allowed in the Computer Lab.

Food residue could possibly damage the computers.

Especially nowadays, a computer is outrageously expensive.

The computers in the Computer Lab are top-of-the-line.

But Chen Yang didn't care at all, even telling Lu Yu to eat slowly!

This……made the classmates more certain……that what they thought impossible might actually be true!

……

Professor Chen arrived.

He first assigned the task, then sent the requirements document to each classmate, and then looked toward Lu Yu.

"Lu Yu, how is your adaptation?" Professor Chen said.

"Not bad, the classmates here are very friendly." Lu Yu replied.

Professor Chen's brows slightly furrowed, who asked you about your relationship with the classmates?

What is needed here is not friendship, but skill!

"Learn more about our project; if you have any questions, come ask me." Professor Chen thought and then said.

If Lu Yu weren't a little kid, Professor Chen would probably scold him a few times.

His attitude just won't do!

"Okay, thank you, Professor Chen." Lu Yu responded with a smile.

Professor Chen's throat moved, but in the end he said nothing.

Let Lu Yu adapt here for a few days.

Then give Lu Yu a test; if he passes, he can stay; if he doesn't……

Even if Lu Yu is truly a genius, he won't keep Lu Yu.

After all, this project is too important!

Thinking that, Professor Chen left.

……

This morning passed without any further incident.

Lu Yu looked at Chen Yang's task for a while and found Chen Yang's condition today was much better than yesterday!

Chen Yang's logic became much clearer; although his speed still couldn't improve, he no longer made structural errors.

Lu Yu thus……just sat there spacing out.

An entire morning passed just like that.

Lu Yu and Chen Yang left their seats together, preparing to go eat.

At that moment, Lu Yu noticed……

All the Computer Lab classmates directed their gaze at Lu Yu, that look……filled with resentment, as if……as if Lu Yu had stolen their girlfriends?

This……

Lu Yu even felt the temperature in the Computer Lab drop; this……what on earth is going on!?

What's going on?

Very simple!

The whole morning, almost all the students focused all their attention on Lu Yu.

They wanted to see what would actually happen between Lu Yu and Chen Yang.

But……

The whole morning, why did nothing happen at all!

That kid…… is still acting foolish?

So…… is everything unrelated to that kid?

Holy shit!

Wasted a whole morning, yet got nothing!

Tonight…… everyone will have to work overtime.

So…… so, their gazes at Lu Yu were naturally filled with resentment.

This damn curiosity!

……

At three o'clock in the afternoon.

Lu Yu looked at Chen Yang, and his brows involuntarily furrowed.

Chen Yang's structure was indeed fine, but…… but he was too cautious, so his speed slowed!

"If you keep this speed, you probably…… won't be able to leave on time today." Lu Yu said.

Chen Yang looked puzzled; working overtime wasn't very normal for him?

Moreover…… he felt today's progress was actually not bad!

At the very least, his previous state wasn't as good as now!

"You can try doing it this way."

"Separate each code segment and complete it as fast as possible."

"Then, embed these independent code segments back in."

This is actually a fairly ordinary method, but it really helps improve efficiency.

Of course, Lu Yu wouldn't use such a method; after all…… writing code for him is as simple as breathing.

Chen Yang thought for a moment, then nodded.

Then……

Then Chen Yang buckled down and worked hard.

At four o'clock, Chen Yang…… finished today's task!

More importantly, Chen Yang discovered he had a clearer understanding of the structure.

"I feel…… I seem much stronger now than before."

"Master, thank you!"

Chen Yang pondered for a moment, then looked at Lu Yu gratefully.

Lu Yu: ……

Did the other party just acknowledge him as master without any hindrance?

"That…… you've finished your task, so I'll head back first." Lu Yu didn't know how to respond.

……

Lu Yu left, and Chen Yang also left.

The computer lab fell into silence again.

Chen Yang finished his task early again?

Chen Yang left early again?

So…… what exactly happened!

Right!

Because they wasted a morning, in the afternoon no one paid attention to Chen Yang and Lu Yu anymore.

But……

You're fucking messing with us!

I look at you, you don't move; I don't look at you, you go crazy jumping!

Really fuck!

The classmates in the computer lab felt deeply offended!

……

Professor Chen arrived at the computer lab at 4:30.

He immediately focused his attention on Chen Yang's seat.

Then his brows involuntarily furrowed.

"Where's Chen Yang? Where's Lu Yu?" Professor Chen asked.

His tone already carried a hint of anger.

Chen Yang finished his task and went back.

Lu Yu…… Lu Yu also went back.

A classmate replied.

Then……

Professor Chen's expression sank.
