Chapter 42

Speaking of which, Lao Li was still very shocked by what had just happened.

How long has Lu Yu been in the Computer Lab?

But he just……

Professor Chen has always been an unquestionable authority in the Computer Lab.

One could even say…… Professor Chen's reputation at Mo Du University of Electronic Science and Technology is higher than Lao Li's.

Usually, which student seeing Professor Chen isn't obsequious?

Rebellion? Going against him?

Such a thing, Lao Li doesn't even dare to think about.

But just now…… Lu Yu simply stood up and casually walked out of the classroom.

More importantly…… all the students actually followed behind him!

This is…… outrageous!

Lu Yu is still just a seven‑year‑old kid!

How did he manage that?

Lao Li glanced at Professor Chen, then recalled what had just happened.

Want to break the authority?

Then only greater authority will do!

In other words…… Lu Yu, in just a few short days, has already used technology to conquer this group of classmates!

Lu Yu…… perhaps is far more formidable than Lao Li imagined?

In fact, Lao Li wasn't wrong in his thinking; the only incorrect part is……

Lu Yu actually only needed one morning to conquer all the classmates—just one morning!

……

Nobody in this world is a fool.

These classmates in the Computer Lab are extremely clever.

They clearly understand that following Lu Yu will at most make Professor Chen unhappy for a while.

They are familiar with Professor Chen and know he is not the type to mind such things.

But they are not familiar with Lu Yu, so…… they naturally chose to follow Lu Yu, after all…… after all, with Lu Yu around, today's task is no problem for them!

After finishing lunch, the group all returned together to the Computer Lab.

Professor Chen wasn't there.

The classmates gathered around Lu Yu again.

Lu Yu, holding nothing back, helped the classmates solve their problems in the shortest time possible.

So……

By around four o'clock, all the classmates had completed today's task!

This is unprecedented.

They have never even tried not working overtime, let alone finishing the task early!

Then……

Lu Yu left.

……

Lu Yu is not in a hurry to win over these classmates; what he did this morning is actually enough.

Winning people's hearts is not something that can be done overnight; it requires gradual progress.

Moreover…… Lu Yu actually knows that what he did this morning is not really appropriate.

So, at this moment he came to Lao Li's office.

He plans to find Professor Chen through Lao Li, to apologize.

No matter what, Professor Chen deserves respect.

Lu Yu may use some tricks, but he will not forget the most basic principles of being human.

To Lu Yu's surprise, Professor Chen was actually in Lao Li's office!

"Little Yu, you…… you came?" Seeing Lu Yu, Lao Li was actually quite surprised.

Lu Yu greeted Lao Li, then earnestly looked at Professor Chen, bowed his head, and said: "Sorry, Professor Chen, this morning I……"

Professor Chen suddenly spoke, cutting off Lu Yu, saying: "You don't need to apologize to me; you haven't done anything that would be sorry to me."

"But…… since you have the ability and dare to lead my students, then…… you should continue to lead them."

"Starting tomorrow, I will accelerate the research project's progress."

"So, tomorrow's task difficulty and workload will be doubled."

"I hope you won't let me down."

Lu Yu: ……

He felt that he was the one who had fallen into the pit, but he had no evidence.

Moreover…… who said science guys are the most straightforward?

Who said programmers have no scheming?

Old schemer…… Professor Chen, this kind of senior person, indeed…… there isn't one who isn't deep‑minded!

"All right…… okay." Lu Yu could only answer like that.

"Hahahaha……" Professor Chen laughed loudly.

Then he rose from his seat, walked over to Lu Yu, lightly patted Lu Yu's shoulder, and said: "From now on you can work even harder."

Then…… Professor Chen left proudly.

Lu Yu: ……

……

On the way Lao Li was sending Lu Yu home.

Lao Li wanted to speak but stopped several times, finally opening his mouth to say: "Little Yu…… what do you think of Professor Chen's project? Will you continue working in the Computer Lab until the project succeeds?"

Lu Yu remained silent for a moment before saying: "Actually Professor Chen's research is already quite deep; I feel…… he hasn't yet brought out the core part."

"It's not that he doesn't trust our classmates, but…… he probably feels that we currently don't have enough ability to help him."

"As for me…… I still hope we can complete this project together."

"It feels like things will get interesting later."

Lao Li remained silent for a moment, then continued: "So…… Lu Yu, do you want to join Mo Du Electronic Science and Technology University now?"

Lu Yu shook his head, saying: "I've said before, I will enter Mo Du Electronic Science and Technology University through the National College Entrance Examination. Besides, there is the National College Entrance Examination every year."

Lao Li opened his mouth, but didn't know what to say.

He discovered…… that he, the president of Mo Du Electronic Science and Technology University, now…… when facing Lu Yu, even needs to weigh his words!

This is…… so frustrating!

When will the president finally be able to stand up for real!

……

Lu Yu returned home and ate the dinner prepared by He Sui.

After that…… it became boring.

"Plants vs. Zombies", he had already cleared it.

Then…… he had no games left to play!

In this era, there are few games that one can play!

Just then, while Lu Yu was bored, his phone rang.

Chen Qiao's phone call!

"Little Yu? This is Chen Qiao. Is now a good time to talk?" Chen Qiao said.

"Hmm," Lu Yu nodded.

"Your car can be picked up tomorrow, and I've also arranged a driver for you."

"Tomorrow I'll have the driver pick up the car, then come get you."

Chen Qiao said.

Lu Yu did not answer immediately.

Chen Qiao's voice was low, not knowing if he had run into some troubling matter.

"Uncle Chen, did something happen?" Lu Yu asked.

Chen Qiao hesitated a moment, then said: "En. That Mr. Qin I mentioned earlier has already returned to China, and he registered a game company in the shortest time."

"He really intends to make games domestically!"

This actually surprised Lu Yu a bit; the other party's efficiency is really high!

"So, what game has Mr. Qin announced he's making?" Lu Yu asked.

"Not yet. However, I heard he will hold a press conference the day after tomorrow, and the scale is quite large."

"Now everyone in the circle knows about this."

Chen Qiao said that.

Lu Yu raised his eyebrows slightly.

It looks like domestic games are about to stir up a bloody storm!

This is coming faster than he expected.

Most importantly, he is not yet fully prepared.
