Chapter 51: Public Alchemy

Others in the hall saw that there was such an interesting thing, so they put down what they were doing and walked over to watch.

Xiao Yan saw that there were more and more people around, but he didn't take it to heart and sat cross-legged on the ground directly.

Xiao Yan touched the fire mouth of the medicine cauldron, closed his eyes slightly, and the Dou Qi cyclone in his body fluctuated slightly. Streams of black and white Dou Qi gushed out, finally making his palms look slightly pale.

The black and white Dou Qi, after reaching his palms, was slightly silent, and then, as if receiving a fierce suction force, it actually rushed out from his palms and then passed through the fire mouth, drilling into the medicine cauldron.

"Puff..."

With a muffled sound, the black and white air current, after passing through the fire mouth, was abruptly transformed into a pale yellow substantial flame, continuously churning and burning inside the medicine cauldron.

Xiao Yan tried to control the pale yellow flame in the medicine cauldron and found that although it was not as easy to use as the Exotic Fire, it was easy to operate.

Under the gaze of everyone, they saw that the three types of ingredients entered the medicine cauldron and did not turn into ashes as they thought, but instead floated quietly in the flame.

"Eh! Are there so many people participating in the assessment today? Why are there so many people surrounding it?" A white-haired old man and an old man wearing a purple Alchemist robe felt somewhat surprised when they saw so many people surrounding the Alchemist assessment place.

Xiao Yan saw the strange actions of the middle-aged man and then turned around, finding that a purple-clothed old man and a white-haired old man had appeared behind him at some point.

Xiao Yan saw the respectful attitude of the people around and the person responsible for the assessment towards the two, and knew that their identities were not simple.

"What am I expecting? This kid doesn't know how to refine medicine at all, and he was actually seen by the President and Vice President. He will probably be scolded afterwards." The middle-aged man saw Xiao Yan's "showy operation" and couldn't help but curse in his heart.

Others surrounding Xiao Yan also shook their heads secretly, feeling that this teenager didn't know how to refine medicine at all. They all felt that Xiao Yan was a rich young master who was cheated when shopping and bought a medicine cauldron and ingredients.

This purple-clothed old man, who didn't know how many years he had lived, was the President of the Alchemist Guild—Fama.

The two guards standing at the door heard the conversation between the two and knew that these two held high positions in the Alchemist Guild, so they naturally didn't dare to neglect and immediately ran over to squeeze through the crowd to clear the way for the two.

Fama and Qie Mi Er successfully arrived behind the teenager and saw that the teenager was actually sitting cross-legged in front of a medicine cauldron, with three types of ingredients placed beside him. As soon as Fama saw the ingredients, he knew that this teenager was refining the Energy Accumulation Pill.

The middle-aged man responsible for the assessment saw President Fama and Vice President Qie Mi Er coming and was startled, wanting to go up to greet them immediately, but was stopped by Fama.

However, Xiao Yan didn't put it away, but directly tossed it to the middle-aged man responsible for the assessment and said indifferently: "Check it! See if it meets the requirements."

This purple-clothed old man was withered like wood, obviously much older than the white-haired old man beside him. The two had just walked out of the west hall of the hall.

"It's not easy for President Fama to come to the guild; are you interested in going to see it together?" The white-haired old man said.

"This... how is this possible? Using one mind for three purposes! How strong must this teenager's Soul Perception be!" The crowd watching the fun all showed surprised expressions.

But Fama didn't respond to him; his eyes had been on Xiao Yan, never moving away, and even when Qie Mi Er spoke, he seemed not to have heard it.

Only Fama and Vice President Qie Mi Er observed the teenager in front of them refining medicine quietly, because they sensed that the teenager in front of them had strong soul power.

However, he had to endure it even if he couldn't. Xiao Yan waited for a long time and saw that the ingredients were finally refined, so he quickly removed the impurities. After the impurities were removed, he controlled them to fuse. Xiao Yan's every action was done in one go, like flowing water, without a trace of pause in the middle.

Xiao Yan waited boredly for the ingredients to be refined; after all, it was just an ordinary flame, and it was slow. This made Xiao Yan, who was used to using Exotic Fire, very unaccustomed. It was like someone who had always driven a Mercedes and a Lamborghini, but suddenly drove a Mazda one day; how could he stand it?

The middle-aged man took the pill and didn't check it, but ran to President Fama and respectfully handed the pill to Fama, asking him to check it.

Everyone in the hall saw Xiao Yan really transform the flame and felt very surprised, because this meant that Xiao Yan already possessed the basic ability of an Alchemist, and they saw Xiao Yan control the flame so skillfully, obviously not the first time refining medicine.

Qie Mi Er couldn't figure it out, so he had to shake his head helplessly and continue to observe Xiao Yan refining medicine.

Xiao Yan's attention at this moment had been placed on refining medicine, so he naturally didn't notice the changes behind him. Refining medicine in this hall was still very dangerous. Although Xiao Yan was already very skilled in refining the Energy Accumulation Pill, he still didn't dare to be the least bit careless. Xiao Yan picked up the three types of ingredients beside him, tossed them all into the medicine cauldron at once, and then controlled the flame to start refining.

"This teenager's alchemy talent is very good! I really don't know who could teach such a disciple." Qie Mi Er said to Fama.

"What's wrong with President today? Why is he interested in a teenager? This teenager, although talented, is only a First Grade Alchemist!" Qie Mi Er thought to himself.

Xiao Yan looked through the ice mirror and saw that the refined ingredients in the medicine cauldron had finished fusing, and an embryonic pill appeared in the medicine cauldron. Xiao Yan controlled the flame to nourish it again and waited for the pill to come out. At this time, there was no suspense; the pill was considered refined, and the rest was just time.

Xiao Yan looked through the ice mirror again and saw that the pill was already round and flawless, so he directly extinguished the flame and casually summoned the pill into his hand.

Especially Fama, ever since he saw Xiao Yan, his eyes had never left him. Because on Xiao Yan, he felt a familiar aura, but Xiao Yan was refining medicine, so he didn't ask now.

In this public place, Xiao Yan naturally wouldn't directly use the Exotic Fire. Xiao Yan understood the principle that "an innocent man is guilty of his crime"; after all, he was just here to participate in the First Grade Alchemist assessment, and there was no need for Exotic Fire.

At this time, everyone in the entire hall became quiet, eyes fixed on Xiao Yan sitting cross-legged on the ground.

Actually, there was no need for the guards to clear the way! The people watching the fun saw President Fama and Vice President Qie Mi Er coming and immediately cleared the way.

"People are old, just like to be lively, then let's go and see together!" Fama said with a smile.

"Hehe, how could there be so many people participating in the assessment? There must be some fun!" The purple-clothed old man said with a smile.

"President, is there anything wrong?" Qie Mi Er saw that President Fama actually showed a surprised expression on his face and felt it was incredible.

"This purple-clothed old man is actually the President of the Alchemist Guild, Fama. Doesn't he rarely come to the Alchemist Guild?" Xiao Yan felt very shocked in his heart; he didn't expect that such a small thing could attract Fama's attention.
