Chapter 52: Fama

"Hehe, this little brother is not simple! Not only is the refining technique exquisite, but the control over the flame is also extremely skilled, and the entire alchemy process is also very skilled. Obviously, this is not the first time refining this kind of pill, right!" President Fama said with a smile.

"Junior has met President Fama. I didn't expect that such a small matter could disturb you." Xiao Yan bowed respectfully to Fama.

Although Xiao Yan had never met this President, this old man was worthy of Xiao Yan's respect regardless of his character or status.

"The pill refined by the little brother seems to be a bit different; not only is the quality superior, but it also makes this old man feel a trace of comfort when smelling it. It is truly magical!" President Fama praised Xiao Yan without hesitation.

"President is over-praising!" Xiao Yan said modestly.

"I didn't expect that even without using the Exotic Fire, the refined pill would smell so good!" Xiao Yan secretly clicked his tongue in his heart.

Fama's alchemy talent was not very good when he was young, but he was keen on alchemy, so he successfully moved Yao Lao. He was guided by Yao Lao for three days, but it was precisely those three days of guidance that allowed Fama to achieve his current achievements.

"It's just a low-level Energy Accumulation Pill. If President wants it, I will give it to you directly; there is no need to exchange it with any Dou Technique." Xiao Yan said respectfully.

"How could I take advantage of the little brother? This is a fire-attribute Dou Technique I collected for helping others refine pills, but I, an old man, don't like fighting, so it's a bit dusty here. It's just right to give it to you, and you can carry it forward." Fama directly took out a red scroll from his storage ring and gave it to Xiao Yan.

"Xiong Ba? This name sounds domineering; I think the identity is not simple!" Fama smiled. But a look of disappointment appeared in his eyes, as if he hadn't heard the name he wanted to hear.

"Is it that magical?" Qie Mi Er asked somewhat disbelievingly.

"Hehe, smell it yourself!" Fama directly handed the pill to Qie Mi Er, letting him see it too.

"Why does the President care so much about this little brother named Nie Feng, and even gave him the Dou Technique you treasured for many years? I remember many people asked you for this Dou Technique, and you refused." After leaving the crowd, Qie Mi Er finally couldn't help but ask the doubts in his heart.

"Hmm? This pill is indeed as the President said; it smells refreshing, and I feel like I've become much younger. However, this is just a low-level Energy Accumulation Pill, and no other ingredients were mixed in; how could it be so different from what we refined?" Qie Mi Er asked Fama.

Qie Mi Er took the pill and checked it carefully, and then smelled it, finding that it was indeed as Fama said, and his heart was very confused.

"Hehe, from today on, little friend can be considered a real Alchemist." Fama said with a smile.

Fama saw that after Xiao Yan accepted the scroll, he asked someone to prepare a nice Alchemist robe for Xiao Yan again. After personally handing it to Xiao Yan, he encouraged him again.

The apprentices in the hall saw that Xiao Yan became a First Grade Alchemist and were envious. And those high-level Alchemists saw that Fama's attitude towards this teenager named Nie Feng was so kind, and they couldn't help but feel a little jealous.

"Thank you, President Fama, for the praise!" Xiao Yan bowed respectfully and said thank you.

"Look at my brain, I haven't asked the little brother's name yet?" Fama asked again.

At this time, Yao Lao had not fallen into a deep sleep. Although under Yao Lao's control, the aura emitted was already very weak. But Yao Lao's strength at this time was only a Dou Huang, and Fama himself was a Dou Huang, plus he was a peak Fifth Grade Alchemist, so his Soul Perception was keen, and it was inevitable that he would notice some anomalies.

People around saw that President Fama and Vice President Qie Mi Er both confirmed that the pill refined by Xiao Yan was a bit different, and their hearts were very shocked.

"Hehe, didn't you notice that the alchemy technique of this little friend named Nie Feng is a bit similar to mine? And the aura on him... it's too similar!" Fama said with a smile.

"My name is Nie Feng!" Xiao Yan lied without blushing or heartbeat. But he wasn't wrong! Didn't Xiong Ba's disciple have one named Nie Feng?

"Hehe, little brother Nie Feng, being able to become a First Grade Alchemist at a young age, the talent is extraordinary!" Fama praised again.

"The little brother's alchemy technique is very clever; I think your teacher must be extraordinary too! Is it convenient to tell me what your teacher's name is?" Fama asked expectantly.

Xiao Yan was stunned when he heard Yao Lao's words, but he didn't refuse anymore. After all, Fama could be considered his half-senior brother strictly speaking!

Just when Yao Lao was transmitting information to Xiao Yan, Fama seemed to have noticed something, his pupils widened suddenly, and he looked at Xiao Yan with a face full of surprise.

"It's too high-profile today; I'd better come back to take the exam in a few days!" Xiao Yan sighed helplessly. After saying goodbye to Fama, he left the Alchemist Guild directly. He didn't want to become the focus. Before his strength reached a certain level, being too high-profile carried the risk of falling.

People around saw that Xiao Yan could get the Alchemist robe personally bestowed by Fama and expressed envy. This was such a glorious thing! Even if the Imperial Little Princess came, she wouldn't have this kind of treatment!

After Xiao Yan changed into the Alchemist robe, he looked particularly dazzling in front of everyone. After all, this Alchemist robe was bestowed by Fama, and the meaning was different.

Xiao Yan saw that the eyes of the people around looking at him carried more or less envy, jealousy, and hatred. Xiao Yan, who originally wanted to continue to take the Second Grade Alchemist exam, had to give up.

After Xiao Yan left, President Fama and Vice President Qie Mi Er also left.

President Fama was a respected person in the entire empire, even comparable to the Pill King Gu He. Being praised by him was such a glorious thing.

The Energy Accumulation Pill was a pill that almost all Alchemists would refine, but the pills they refined didn't have the effect of making people feel refreshed!

"How can this be? This Energy Accumulation Pill can only be sold for a few hundred gold coins at most; how can it compare to the value of a Dou Technique!" Xiao Yan hurriedly refused.

"I have a request; I want to ask little brother Nie Feng to do me a favor. Can you give this Energy Accumulation Pill to me? I am willing to exchange it with a Dou Technique." Fama smiled indifferently.

"My teacher's name is Xiong Ba, but he is eccentric and irritable, doesn't like liveliness, and has always lived in the deep mountains. This time, he only let me come to participate in the Alchemist assessment alone." Xiao Yan naturally wouldn't expose Yao Lao's real name. After all, this Fama knew Yao Lao when he was young and had been guided by Yao Lao.

"Little Yanzi, if he wants to give it to you, just accept it!" Yao Lao's voice sounded in Xiao Yan's heart.

Xiao Yan saw Fama's rather surprised expression and knew that Fama might have noticed Yao Lao's existence. But this was nothing; Fama could at most clearly notice that Xiao Yan had Yao Lao's aura on him.

"Could it be that he is a disciple you took?" Qie Mi Er said in surprise.

"Haha! How can I be qualified to take him as a disciple! I just feel that he is like the disciple of that old friend of mine. After all, that old friend was kind to me! But I am just guessing. If he is really the disciple of that old friend of mine, so what if I give him all my savings? Remember, in the future, all the requests of this little brother named Nie Feng must be satisfied as much as possible." Fama laughed at himself and then exhorted.
