Chapter 261: Just Poor

Wu Yue coughed dryly twice, desperately suppressing the smile in her heart, and silently asked Tongzi, "Is there any way to undo the effect of this Growth Grass?"

Tongzi's voice clear and crisp said: "Of course there is."

Seeing it stop mid-sentence, Wu Yue secretly suspected that this thing was going to cheat her points again.

But she didn't expect Tongzi's next sentence to freeze her in place instantly.

"Growth Grass has no downsides, only benefits; bodily obesity can only be burned off through large amounts of exercise."

Wu Yue glanced sympathetically at Qingcao beside her: "So there's nothing in the city's points that can restore her?"

Tongzi's eyes instantly brightened: "Naturally there is; many pills have this effect, host, you are truly great—do you want to exchange a pill for your little companion?"

Wu Yue, however, did not immediately answer its question: "If it's exercise consumption, how long would it take to recover?"

Tongzi was a bit disappointed by the host's change of topic, but still patiently explained: "The Growth Grass lasts one month, so during this month Qingcao must continuously consume it each day, otherwise she will keep getting fatter."

Wu Yue's mouth twitched: "How much does the cheapest pill cost?"

Tongzi eagerly rubbed her little hands: "Dear host, the cheapest pill in the system mall costs 100 points; would you like to redeem it?"

Wu Yue's expression of 'I have money' just moments ago collapsed instantly; wearing a look of a petty poor wretch, she angrily refused: "I'll supervise her exercise, develop sports, strengthen the people's physique—only with a strong body can we gather more food."

Looking at the host's miserly face claiming everything is for Qingcao's good, Tongzi made an international gesture with a finger-click.

Because the points weren't enough to exchange for her little companion but she wanted something, Wu Yue felt a bit guilty.

She cleared her throat, looked at the expectant Qingcao, and said: "This herb is what wild piglets eat during their growth period; it's not poisonous, but rather beneficial to the body."

The effect lasts one month; you must engage in large amounts of activity each day to consume it, otherwise you'll keep getting fatter.

Qingcao's eyes suddenly brightened: "Yue, you mean I'll return to normal after a month, right?"

Wu Yue shook her head: "After a month, if you keep exercising you'll return to your former shape, though it might take longer than a month."

The smile on Qingcao's face was brilliant: "Haha, as long as I get better, I thought I'd stay like this forever."

She hehe-laughed, with some difficulty using her arms to push up from the grass nest and stand up.

After waving at Wu Yue, she strode out with big steps: "Yue, I'm going to find Tengkun first; he must have been beaten by your Yuan Lang, I'll go comfort his tender heart."

Having said that, she squeezed out of Wu Yue's small door with huffing and puffing.

Seeing the dirt fallen from her own doorframe, Wu Yue felt terrible; if this thing comes two more times, her door might be taken away.

Besides, where exactly is Tengkun's immaturity? When outside, his nerves are so thick he could jump rope.

Her house had no dust or trash; it seemed Qingcao had been helping her clean, and Wu Yue felt somewhat moved.

After tidying up the little items she brought back, Wu Yue exhaled deeply and collapsed into her own grass nest.

"Golden nests and silver nests are nothing compared to my own doghouse!"

In the dark, Tongzi glanced at the system's upper city's soft, comfortable luxurious doghouses, and silently swallowed her retort.
