Chapter 316: First-Stage Alchemist

Lin Zhangqing stared at the alchemy furnace with full concentration for two or three hours. During this time, he also discovered quite a few problems.

But Sixth Grandfather was practicing alchemy, so he didn't speak to disturb him, but kept them in his heart first.

After Sixth Grandfather finished refining all ten furnaces of pills, he dared to raise the questions, which were then answered one by one by Sixth Grandfather.

After Lin Zhangqing had no more questions, Lin Fanxuan asked, "What are your thoughts or gains from observing these ten alchemy sessions today?"

Lin Zhangqing organized his language slightly before answering, "I feel that becoming an alchemist is still quite difficult. There are too many things to learn in every aspect.

Moreover, pill formulas, alchemy furnaces, spirit medicines, and the most important inheritance are all indispensable. No wonder there are so few alchemists in the cultivation world! Fortunately, for us family cultivators, these conditions can barely be met.

But for scattered cultivators, it is as difficult as ascending to heaven. No wonder alchemists rarely appear among scattered cultivators."

At the same time, he was secretly blaming himself in his heart for being too extravagant. He actually killed the scattered cultivator alchemist he captured last time, which was really a bit of a waste.

Sixth Grandfather nodded after hearing this, barely acknowledging Lin Zhangqing's answer, and continued, "I have been refining Qi Gathering Pills these few days, and you should come over to observe.

Then think back and digest it well every night. If you watch it continuously for four or five days, it should be about right! By then, you can try practicing alchemy yourself!"

Hearing that he could try practicing alchemy after observing for another four or five days, Lin Zhangqing was very excited. After all, alchemy and artifact refining are considered the top professions in the cultivation world!

So Lin Zhangqing nodded repeatedly and said, "Sixth Grandfather, don't worry, I will definitely learn seriously and won't let you down!"

Lin Zhangqing knew that Sixth Grandfather must have helped him a lot. Otherwise, how could a second-stage alchemist refine Qi Gathering Pills for so many days in a row? Such an obvious loophole, and his eyes weren't blind.

To say nothing else, when Second Brother Lin Changyuan was learning alchemy, he didn't have such good treatment. It was always when he needed to refine the kind of pill he was learning, and when he remembered, he would notify him to come over and take a look.

Sixth Grandfather nodded and said, "It's good that you understand in your heart, no need to say it out!

Also, have you prepared your own alchemy furnace? If not, I have one here, a first-stage upper-grade furnace that I replaced, so you can use it first!"

After speaking, he rummaged through his storage bag, took out a first-stage upper-grade furnace, and handed it to him.

Lin Zhangqing had a flash of inspiration and took it. Later, he would return a second-stage alchemy furnace made of Red Smelted Crystal Copper, and Sixth Grandfather wouldn't be able to refuse!

He took it respectfully with both hands and said with a grin, "Thank you, Sixth Grandfather, for the alchemy furnace. I really didn't prepare one, so I won't be polite! When I have the opportunity in the future, I will find a second-stage alchemy furnace made of Red Smelted Crystal Copper and give it to you!"

Sixth Grandfather laughed loudly after hearing this and said to Lin Zhangqing, "Then wouldn't I have made a huge profit? Trading an old first-stage alchemy furnace for a second-stage alchemy furnace made of Red Smelted Crystal Copper, I've made a fortune! Made a fortune!

However, if someone else said this, I wouldn't believe it, but I believe that this day will come for you, kid! Alright, your Sixth Grandfather will wait for you to give me an alchemy furnace made of Red Smelted Crystal Copper!"

Lin Zhangqing nodded with a grin and said, "Don't worry, I keep my word, just wait slowly!"

Sixth Grandfather said with a smile, "Alright, your Sixth Grandfather accepts the big cake drawn by you, you little ghost! Then let's stop here for today! It's probably already late outside, you go back first, and come directly to this alchemy room tomorrow!" Lin Zhangqing nodded, put away the alchemy furnace, said goodbye to Sixth Grandfather, and left the Spirit Medicine Pavilion. It was indeed evening outside.

Unknowingly, a day had passed here. He hadn't gone to Aoyun Peak to catalyze the spirit medicine today, so it seemed he could only make up for it tomorrow morning. Then he flew directly to his own small courtyard on his sword.

The days of learning alchemy passed day by day like this. Half a month had passed since the first day he observed Sixth Grandfather practicing alchemy.

Ten days ago, Lin Zhangqing started his first alchemy session in Sixth Grandfather's alchemy room. That day, Sixth Grandfather helped him prepare spirit medicines for ten furnaces of Qi Gathering Pills.

The first five furnaces of pills failed due to various reasons, which was no surprise, but Lin Zhangqing was not nervous at all.

This little bit of stuff really didn't count for anything to him. Even if he lost ten times, or even twenty times more, he wouldn't care, so his mindset was very good.

On the contrary, Sixth Grandfather kept comforting him and encouraging him, telling him not to be nervous. Plus, his own spiritual sense was quite powerful, which also gave him a huge advantage in alchemy.

During the sixth alchemy session, he obtained a semi-finished pill, and the seventh and eighth sessions failed again.

During the ninth session, he finally refined a Qi Gathering Pill. After Sixth Grandfather checked it, he confirmed it was a lower-grade Qi Gathering Pill that could be taken normally.

Lin Zhangqing was extremely happy at that time. He knew he would definitely succeed, but he was also prepared to fail dozens of times. He didn't expect to successfully refine a Qi Gathering Pill on the first day.

This gave him huge confidence. In his excitement, the tenth session failed again, but he didn't care at all. Anyway, he had already succeeded once, which was already much better than expected.

Afterwards, Sixth Grandfather prepared ten furnaces of spirit medicines for Qi Gathering Pills for him every day. Of course, the costs were deducted from his identity jade token.

Now he had plenty of family contribution points. Besides, the spirit medicine for one furnace of Qi Gathering Pills only cost ten family contribution points, which was very cheap. He wasn't afraid even if he wasted them.

For ten consecutive days, a total of one hundred furnaces of Qi Gathering Pills, the success rate on the last day had reached fifty percent. The best result for one furnace was two lower-grade Qi Gathering Pills.

Even so, Sixth Grandfather had been praising his good talent and officially told him that he was now considered a first-stage lower-grade alchemist.

From now on, he would have to arrange alchemy matters himself, so Lin Zhangqing's time could be arranged freely again.

Now he was catalyzing the spirit fields on Aoyun Peak and taking care of Chu Yi by the way. It had been nearly a month since he entered a deep sleep.

Other spirit pets of Lin Zhangqing advanced in ten-plus days, about half a month, only Chu Yi had no movement until now.

Actually, he already regretted it, feeling that he shouldn't have let Chu Yi swallow that inner core of the Sharp Claw Eagle; there were too many uncontrollable factors! Now he could only hope that it wouldn't have any problems. He had no good way at this time.
