Chapter 1014 - 1022: What’s the Use of Crying

~4 min read 621 words

At this time, many people had finished their meals and were already finding places to rest, and the restroom was nearly empty.

However, what surprised Jane Sampson and Coco Edwards was that when they entered, they encountered Mona Calm hiding inside, sobbing in a hushed tone.

It seemed that the sound of Jane and Coco entering startled her; she quickly turned her back, secretly wiped her tears, then turned around to see who had come in.

"Sister Jane," Mona recognized the people who had come in and quickly called out in a low voice, "Sister Coco."

"Hmm, you..." Jane responded and was about to speak when suddenly, a stall door flung open, and Sister Hibiscus Wood walked out with a cigarette in her hand, casting a glance at Mona as she passed by.

Then she said to Jane, "I was smoking here just now, and the smell is strong on both sides, go to the other side."

Having lived together before, Hibiscus knew that Jane was somewhat sensitive to the smell of smoke.

After saying this, Hibiscus turned and left.

Once Hibiscus had gone, Coco pulled Jane back the way they came, heading to the other side.

The restrooms in this tourism zone were large; when Coco pulled Jane to the other side, they could no longer see Mona.

"Mona really is kind of pitiful," Coco whispered to Jane, "yesterday she was hit, and today her lens was continuously blocked. For an actor, that’s even worse than being hit."

"Hibiscus isn’t the type to tackle someone for no reason; I don’t know what Mona did to offend her." After resolving her personal issues, Jane stepped out and sighed.

When the two went to wash their hands, they again encountered Mona washing her face at the sink.

She had been crying earlier, and her makeup had largely been ruined, so she would have to touch it up later anyway. Fortunately, she had no scenes in the afternoon, but she did have scenes in the evening, giving her the entire afternoon to reapply her makeup.

"Mona," Jane looked at Mona, who was bent over washing her face, and finally couldn’t hold back, calling out to her, "In today’s society, crying is useless. Instead of hiding here and crying, you should use this time to solve the problems you’re facing now."

Mona slowly straightened up, her voice choked, "But I don’t know what to do; I want to talk to Sister Hibiscus alone, but she completely ignores me."

"What exactly did you do to offend her?" Coco’s temper flared, and she asked, "What did you do to make her so angry and treat you, a female supporting role, like this?"

"I don’t know." As soon as Mona spoke, her crying intensified.

"If you don’t know, then go find out the problem! Crying here, can your tears tell you the answer? If you don’t know, then think of a way to figure it out!" Coco was indeed frustrated and clenched her teeth. Then, seeing Mona weakly shedding tears, Coco stomped her foot and pulled Jane, who had just washed her hands, away with her.

After returning to their seats, Coco muttered, "It’s really regressing more and more! Even a three-year-old knows to cry after seeing their target clearly. She’s just crying by herself in there, what’s the use?"

Coco rubbed her forehead, "If I were being bullied on the film set, I’d cry in front of everyone, cry in front of the director. My heart would feel relieved by crying, and I might even annoy someone by doing it. Who knows, if someone filmed it, I could even make the headlines, saying someone big is bullying a female supporting role, making her cry on set."
