Chapter 2188 - 2196: I’ll Listen to You All

10:30, the car stopped at the Carter Family’s main gate.

James Carter and Jane Sampson arrived at the same time.

The sound of the car in the courtyard drew everyone inside the house outside.

When Jane Sampson saw the people coming out of the house, she was dumbfounded.

"Auntie, uncle-in-law, grandpa! You also came!" Jane Sampson excitedly left James Black and ran towards Brooke Black and Old Master Black.

"Sister, I also came." Bright Sampson popped his head out from behind them and greeted Jane Sampson, "Grandparents Carter invited us."

"We’ve talked many times about wanting to find a time to gather the two clans." Granny Carter happily walked towards Jane Sampson and stopped in front of them, taking Jane Sampson by one hand and James Black by the other, personally leading them into the house.

"Our Jane has come home." Granny Carter hadn’t been this happy in many years.

Jane Sampson felt a bit emotional as she followed Granny Carter, step by step inside.

This time entering the house, it seemed truly different.

Granny Carter said, she has come home.

"Originally, I wanted to tell you sooner that we were coming today, but your aunt said not to tell you, to give you a surprise." Father Gingery explained to Jane Sampson, "Peter Gingery couldn’t come, he’s regretting it. He said when he gets vacation time, he’ll come to your mother’s home by himself, show off as Brother Gingery, and hope you treat him well."

"You child." Mother Carter lovingly sat beside, laughing.

But while laughing, she also felt like crying.

Her daughter has truly been through so much.

"The film has finally wrapped up. Soon, I’ll be able to hold your hand and go to all the events. I’ll be able to tell everyone you are my Gwendolyn Young’s daughter." Mother Carter eagerly anticipated this day to come sooner.

She more so wanted to take Jane Sampson to attend all the family banquets and tell everyone, Jane Sampson is the daughter of the Carter Family, and the Carter Family will do everything to protect her.

"Your auntie and I arrived last night." Old Master Black, being elderly, spent a whole day on an airplane and took a day to recover.

"Last night your grandparents and I discussed and thought to set a time to first have a family banquet at the Carter Family and introduce you to the relatives here, and when your movie premieres, to have a bigger, more formal banquet to officially introduce you to everyone in the Carter Family."

Old Master Black agreed with the Carter Family’s arrangement.

The relatives of the Carter Family who are closer, either working in the business district or like Father Carter, introducing Jane Sampson earlier is beneficial to her.

"I’ll listen to all of you." Jane Sampson nodded, "As long as it’s not leaked before the film premieres, it’s fine."
