Chapter 713 - 721: There’s No Need for You to Worry

~4 min read 629 words

The fragrance of breakfast from the dining hall had already wafted over, and Jane Sampson immediately turned her head and hastened her pace towards it.

"What did you buy this morning?" Jane peeped from behind James Black, then slowly walked out from behind him and sat down in the chair next to him.

The breakfast had been bought by James after his run, driving out since there wasn’t a breakfast spot nearby.

Looking at the very light breakfast on the table, Jane sighed, "Do people here drink porridge in the morning?"

It was that sigh which caused James to glance up at her.

"You have to sing these two days; what more do you want to eat?" James placed Jane’s portion in front of her, "Southland breakfasts are basically all these kinds of porridge and soupy things."

Jane nodded her head, then staring at James as he opened a box of appetizers, she spoke up, "These two days, no, I mean today, tomorrow, the day after tomorrow, these three days, I’ll be busy. How about you? What will you do?"

Before James could speak, Jane quickly added, "You can’t accompany me to singing practice; otherwise, your presence will distract me! Wait until the premiere before you join me."

James’s expression turned sour for a moment, "No need for you to worry; eat your meal."

After eating breakfast and sitting for a short while, Coco Edwards came to pick her up. Jane was packing her stuff on the third floor while James continued to follow her around, down the building, to the doorway.

He was following so closely that Jane couldn’t help but give him a few extra glances.

"I’m going." Jane waved to James while bending down to put on her shoes.

Seeing James leaning against the shoe cabinet watching her, Jane after putting on her shoes, waved to him. After he took a couple of steps closer, she suddenly stood on tiptoes and kissed James, then quickly turned and ran off.

James stood there, staring at Jane’s retreating figure until she got into the car, and the car had driven away out of sight.

"Heh." After a while, James finally stirred, curling the corner of his mouth into a smile, evidently in a good mood.

In the car, Coco Edwards, seeing Jane’s happy and carefree demeanor all the way, couldn’t help teasing her, "Little Jane, you’re in quite the good mood. It’s understandable, though; leaving the house with such a handsome guy seeing you off, and getting a kiss too, even the worst mood would improve."

"It’s not because of that at all," Jane retorted stubbornly, "I’m happy because I’ll get to see Mr. Carter again, he’s my idol."

After answering, Jane continued to mutter a few words to herself.

Such a habit of kissing people must be contagious, and her habit must have been caught from James!

It’s all James’s fault!

"Exactly, exactly, kissed by a handsome husband and about to meet Mr. Carter, no wonder you’re over the moon with joy," Coco nodded repeatedly, and after finishing her words, she couldn’t help but burst into laughter first, "But really, you two, it’s nice."

Inside the circle, things are really chaotic, especially regarding relationships. How many can find true happiness within this circle?

There are too many temptations, and not everyone can resist them.

For Jane, debuting after getting married isn’t bad either.

Consecutively for two days, Jane spent the whole daytime with James Carter in singing training, their level of understanding each other impressively high.

During the daytime, Jane trained, and by a little over five o’clock in the evening, she would go home for dinner.

Being exhausted, Jane didn’t cook dinner anymore; it was either beef noodles prepared by James, or meals delivered by him.
